why are her eyes closed?; Cia is overall a calm, dreamy person. She mostly walks alone, with her eyes closed, and daydreams of all the wonderful things she can imagine. Even with her eyes closed, she can still walk, her paws remember the path, she has walked on it many times. Being more of a quiet person, everything exciting is in her thoughts. She loves to walk with her eyes closed and imagine a world of her own creation, safe in her mind.

why are her eyes closed?; Eliora takes the term "winter wonderland" quite literally and will spend entire winters with her eyes closed while she imagines her own magical version of the snowy world around her. Something about the blissful silence paired with the beautiful imagined scene surrounding Eliora in her mind in the cold snowy air can be oddly relaxing and helps El escape the troubles of the real world for a while.

Aria. Although it may be simple, I'd say it suits this plumie perfectly.

Aria lives in a dream world; a place in which sorrow is nonexistent, and joy is everlasting. When her eyes are closed, she's given the chance to explore that dream world, and focus on what's really important to her. While she's in reality, however, she's forced to cope with everyday pain and despair. Rather than exposing herself to those tragedies, and falling victim to that sadness, she closes her eyes and imagines a place without suffering. In this place, she's allowed to forget her troubles, and drift through an easy world of peace and joy. Because whenever reality becomes too hard to bear, she needs a quiet and safe place to call her home. By closing her eyes, she's able to escape, and take comfort in the darkness where she's always welcome.

She was born with a strange curse. With eyes so lovely, anyone she met would fall in love with her. But her greatest desire is to know true love. So she keeps her eyes hidden, in hopes that some day, someone will love her for the beauty that's inside her.

Her name is Hikari which means "light" in Japanese and it is often written ひかり

Hikari suffered from a strange birth defect that left her to be born without eyes, also known as Anophthalmia, but luckily instead of both the eyes and ocular tissue missing, only the eyes failed to be developed leaving the possibility of her being able to see again at one point. But until then her doctors fitted her with a pair of ocular prosthesis (artificial eyes-glass eyes) to help keep the ocular tissue from degenerating as they hope to one day restore her sight. She keeps her eyes closed because she is a bit shy and ashamed about how her eyes looks as she don’t even know what they look like herself and she also doesn’t want to scare others away with her disability.
