Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

It appears that Santa has some a little early this year to Delta Velorum, but time always tends to be a bit confusing on another planet. He kindly drops off dozens of different bags of all sorts of colors and patterns. You bend down to pick one up and it moves! All the bags seem to have a Delta Velorum Fox stuffed in them, some you can see have accessories tied to the bag as well!

Event Information:
The bag is a hint on what the DVF's design looks like. You do not know what kind of DVF you may have - it could be a adult, teen, or one that is covered in edits (some might even have custom lines). The variety will be shown as "unknown" until the DVF is uncovered. If it has accessories, some accessories hint might show up with the bag. Each event DVF will be uncovered and revealed on Christmas day.

You can try for how many you want, BUT you can only win one from this event. If you do not like the DVF that you won once it is uncovered you can PM SnowStar and request it to be put up for re-adoption.

Contests will never be longer then 3 days. FCFS, raffles, naming contests, ect are going to be a common site. Don't worry, we will have a good mix of adoption for both owners, and non-owners alike.

These event DVFs have their own numbering system but they will still count to your normal adoption limit.

Staff members ARE allowed to enter contests if they want to!

That stinks! About the no artists, I sincerely hope that at least of one them Pm's and offers. But then again they might be busy...I want to help so bad, but my art is, well, not the best. Plus I'm not an artist on the main adopts anyway

I was wondering what would happen if someone tries out for multiple DVFs and ends up with more then one? Would they get to choose which one they want or would someone else decide?

That would be one of the the worst case scenarios with this event that we will try to avoid. If however someone somehow manages to win more then once, the person will be given both a Pm and several posts [on the DVFs they won threads] asking them to choose which DVF they want to keep, and any other they won in the event will be given to the person that had the second best form in that DVFs contest.

If the person ignores the post/PMs, or worst comes to worst refuses, a staff member will choose for them.
