Name: Milo
Gender: Male
Rough Past:
Imagine this. A single mother plumerian, rushing home from birthday shopping. Sudden lights, crashing, and it's all over. A little boy sits at home, waiting, waiting, waiting. Nobody comes. A police officer knocks on the door, his face sad, and takes the plumerian. He arrives at a home for boys, and stays there. Months, possibly even years. He lost track, after all, its hard to remember when your the smallest one there. Every day, he grows weaker and weaker from the endless fights that break out, and soon he just sits alone. A few months later, a nice couple come and take him home. They lived in a one bedroom apartment, so he had to sleep on the pitifully small couch. Soon, he is old enough to get a job, and support his family. His first job, a waiter at a nearby restaurant. He worked most days, and sometimes nights. Another year passes, and he says goodbye to his parents and move out. With four roommates, into a horribly small apartment, miserable but hoping things get better. Finally, he finds a small job at the vet. His dream place, possibly the start to a new life. His name? Milo.
Story:
It was a month before christmas, he was wondering around the mall doing some christmas shopping, when he saw a small boy. He was crying in the middle of a crowd, his face streaming with tears. Milo felt a shiver down his spine, wondering where the mother was. He crept up to the boy, and tapped him lightly on the shoulder. "U-uhm, do you need any help?" The boy was silent, but nodded slightly. "Did, did you loose your parents?" The boy nodded again. "Here, where did you last see them?" The small plumerian looked at the big Macy's store, and pointed. "Ok, lets go then" Milo smiled down at the boy, and stood up. Probably thinks im going to take him away Milo thought, and made sure to not touch the boy. The pair wandered into the clothing store, and the boy finally spoke. "I'm Jarvis" he said, staring ahead. "Nice to meet ya Jarvis, I'm Milo" he responded kindly. A worried green plumerian mother pushed through the crowd, followed by a little girl barely older than Jarvis. "Is that them?" Jarvis turned his head, and smiled as he saw his mother and sister. "Mom! Keira!" He happily ran over towards them, and was embraced by the mother."Thank you for helping me!" His eyes were wide and happy, which made Milo smile slightly. "No problem" his eyes were kind, and turned again to leave. "Hey, wait!" Jarvis grabbed something from his mother, and handed it to Milo. It was a small plastic wrapping, inside a mixed bag of fruit and other holiday treats. "Oh no, it's fine I couldn't!" Jarvis frowned, and shoved the gift into him, but laughed again. "No way, your my friend now, you so have to take it!"
