Reaction on another Keakota: Siren himself is still but a young Keakota stud, and really hasn't experience much contact with many other of his kind. He of course has the personality of a fighter, so there's nothing he wouldn't dare to do. The one experience he shares with a Keakota is the same reason he is isolated across the barn from the others. I remember it; it was a clear day, all the horses and Keakotas were happy in the pasture, and we were hoping for a Kota baby that year. We chose Siren and brought him out, along with our mare, Ashanti. She was the only one in heat at the time, and we thought that a baby from her would be lovely. As soon as Siren saw the mare, he bucked, reared, kicked, screamed... Everything you could imagine. When he exchanged blows through their nostrils, Siren screamed reared up and attempted striking out at the grey female, trying his best to kill her. He almost succeeded; hitting her in the top of the skull. It was hard trying to pull him away from the scene, but we eventually got him calmed back down within the hour. From that moment on, we agreed that he should never have contact with any female or male Keakota as he has the same deadly reaction each time, almost proving fatal the second time to a pour gelding.

Reaction on another Keakota:
It was his first day and we had just arrived. We knew right when we saw him he was a gorgeous Kea. I just had to take him from the horrid torturous place that he was living at. So, we payed for him and left before anything else could happen. He was supposed to be euthanized but i was of course, not going to let that happen. After, leading him slowly, out of the back trailer. Killian had already been to act up. All around him were Kea's, running, munching on grass, some even playing with each other. All you could see in his eyes were fear, and curiosity. I slowly lead him to a posted corral and tied him up by some younger keakotas. He began to rear and pull but to his dismay it was not budging. The one of the younger Kea's Fae, had trotted up to him and tilted her head. He looked scared. But she slowly set her head on the fence and let it rest there. He tried to nip at her but she didn't budge. He grew tired and gave up. She Tilted her head up and nudged him gently. Killian jumped a little but felt safe by the affection. He nudged her back and rested his head next to hers. Ever since they've been the best of friends and can never be separated for a moment.
