Personality:
Shalott is, in a word, a dreamer. She believes that all things will end beautifully, the sun will always rise, and the world will always be kind. To her, every single day is beautiful, whether it is raining or snowing or fair. It is as if she is watching the world through a mirror that makes everything look better. Her ideas of the future are marvelous, if utterly impractical- a true optimist. Because of this, she is easily taken advantage of.
Mild-tempered and meek, Shalott's heart is soft and warm. It seems that she has love for everyone, no matter who they are or what they've done. While she is rather quiet, when she does speak she does so only kindly. She is a serious Equid, and does not laugh often- only prompting others to try to make her laugh!
Shalott has one great fear- being alone. She seems an optimist, but it is only her friends that hold her up. When she is not surrounded by loving friends, Shalott becomes bleak, sorrowful and heavy. As long as she has others, every day is beautiful; without those that hold her up, however, every night is full of blackness.

Shalott needs her friends to be the gentle dreamer that she is. Because of this, she has gathered not one, not two, not three, but five close friends to celebrate the season. These friends include Viski- gentle and reliable, she shares Shalott's love for other Equids. Like Shalott, she is positive and forgiving, almost to a fault. Also among Shalott's circle is Saline. Though Saline is domestic and Shalott is wild, they often meet near the barns, and the friendship flourishes. Shalott respects Saline immensely, going to her for serious conversations, advice, and to share poetry. Markarth is Shalott's mother figure. She looks up to the older mare, and though she may be scolded, Shalott respects every word out of the wise mare's mouth. Shalott also loves Doodle. Though Doodle is younger than Shalott, she does her best to act like a big sister to the playful filly. She simply loves it when Doodle 'melts', and so takes every opportunity to pet her, play with her, and fawn over her. Finally, there is Piper. Shalott does not understand her oddness, but her sweetness has caught Shalott's heart, while her inner fire and unique way of thinking are amusing to see.
Quipping/markings: Quip like Viski is my favourite, or like this mare- multi-colored, possibly filled quip, with more of it around the shoulders. Markings-wise, surprise me, go wild!

Personality: Aurora is a mare you absolutely want to meet. A daydreamer, fun raiser, hellion from the stars she's anything but normal. Such a shy and timid soul yet that rebellious look in her eyes tells a completely different story. She's a spirited mare with so many questions to ask the world, always wondering how things work and why they work. Wanting to know how we know so many things but past all that information is a lit candle that just brings cheerfulness to the world around her. Majestic she is its hard to keep this girl tamed for too long, always on the run or needing to do something. She's ridiculously ridiculous in the most miraculous ways, always pushing herself to do more and make things better. Quite nosey as well always wanting to know things.

Personality:
Ellentina is a mild, soft-spoken equid, known for her patience and her demure manner. This has made her popular with the foals and youngsters, and indeed she enjoys their company as much as they prefer her guidance. In most conversations with her peers, she is the quiet observer in the corner who quips up every so often with her opinion. While this may lead some to think she is easy to bully however, those who try will find she is quite the opposite - she carries her personal values of trust, honesty and courage close to her heart, and never hesitates to stand up for what she believes in. Ellentina is also a very calm and observant creature, a trait that has stood her in good stead for detecting danger in the wild - often her warnings have saved the herd from walking into ambushes or being surprised by bad weather heading their way.

Ellentina, in her days of wandering in search of a new herd after leaving her herd of birth, took up briefly with Wilde and Janus one wintry holiday. Their relationship amused her greatly, as they seemed to have a lot of camaraderie despite being at loggerheads with each other at times. Her own gentle, quiet nature fit into their group dynamics peaceably, and they became friends as despite their very different personalities they shared the sames values she did. They talked about all their past experiences and shared stories and news with one another; and of course they spent quite a bit of time finding and preparing gifts for each other too. It was all very pleasant and the memory of it still fills her heart with warmth and happiness. She valued that period, short though it was, and made it a point to visit them again on the eve of each holiday. Even after she had found a herd she still kept in contact with them. Soft patches of deep gray or warm brown dappling over her neck, shoulders, back and hocks would look lovely Alternatively, a chocolate brown zebra brindling all over her with cheetah tear tracks would be nice too. If add-ons: a trail of flowers such as snowdrops or little daisies over her neck and/or hindquarters would be pretty Or maybe she likes to wear fallen birds' feathers in her mane and tail.

Personality: Athena is like her namesake, the wise brains of the operation. She loves to make plans, lead on explorations, delve into ideas, anything that quells her ever growing sponge of a mind. She loves to absorb all kinds of information and this helps to build her repertoire for wisdom. She is sage beyond her years and is more than willing to be any equid's sound board and offer them any kind of advice. Though she is also brutally honest. She will tell those what is right rather than what they want to hear, but her genuine drive to help and her sense of care usually kills any sort of resentment others might hold against her for that type of quality.
Friends to celebrate with: Athena likes to celebrate with SingTheRain's Apollo and Myktard's Zanzibar where they get together and make awesome holiday plans and gadgets to get everything on their list done and finally, they love to share facts and things they learned over the whole year with each other. They get to collectively nerd out for the time being and that way they can do their own thing the rest of the year in case they can't get together again.

Personality: Saadia is a high-class girl, who prefers to spend her time enjoying the finer things in life. She's the type of girl who will only drink from a fresh-water spring, so long as the water is crystal clear and very cold. She's not one to participate in social gatherings unless they're with other sophisticated quids like herself. Saadia is very intelligent, and has an endless vocabulary that she constantly uses to her own advantage. So loves to speak as elegently as possible, present herself as this cosmopolitan girl who's worth knowing. Or so she believes. She would like to think that everyone is constantly whispering about how great and admirable she it. Reality is no-one is really jealous of her, if anything, they wish they had her extensive vocabulary so they could fight her in a battle of wits. Alas, that's unlikely. Despite how arrogant and snooty she may seem, there is no questioning her intellect. {156 words}
Friends to celebrate with: The only quid Saadia would even think to celebrate the holidays with, is her dear friend, Monochrome. The two girls are quite alike, in the sense they are slightly stuck up brats who believe the world should be kissing their hooves. Spending Christmas together could either be a lot of fun, or a disaster waiting to happen {if neither girl were to get just what she wanted}. Either way, the two would likely spend the day relaxing, gossiping, and demanding that their mates {well, Mono's mate} to act as their servant for the day, and treat them like goddesses. Yup, the ideal Christmas plans for best friends.

However, she only has a few close friends that she would confide in, as she can see through the acts of her fake friends. Although, she doesn't really mind those fake friends, as she still loves them. Plus, April is very active and hyper, and extremely talkative, so she needs companions

The only close friend April celebrates extremely special occasions with is Nabil. This is because, Nabil is crazy and uncontrollable, but still a gem and a true friend. Together, these two get crazy with decorations, games, fun and finally, LOTS OF FOOOD. Yes, the main reason these two celebrate special occasions together is because of their love of food. It's a surprise April and Nabil isn't the least bit overweight... Ok, maybe a little.

Personality: Personality: Groot is a happy-go-lucky little mare, who's optimism tends to be sky-high 24/7. She always likes to view the positive things in life, never dwell on the negatives. It’s as if she sees the world through rose-colored glasses, rather than seeing it for what it truly is. Despite that, she isn’t what you would call, “naive,” simply hopeful and dreaming of a better world. She's a kind-hearted young lady who loves making new friends and finds comfort within the company of others. That being said, she doesn't like being alone, and can easily become clingy to those she forms attachments to, especially Mellow.
Friends to celebrate with: Although she was a bit weird as a young filly, the only one who truly didn't judge was Marshmellow. Mellow is owned by my cousin addicted. As a bit of a rebel Mellow is, she can achieve almost anything, she is very convincing. Just being young teenaged mares, they will find anything to laugh at or do, whether its drawing on each others face with a expo marker or sing as loud as their voiced can and to see whos voice will crack first. They are girls, always looking for fun... :p
Quipping/markings: Her tobianoism?.. is not symmetrical. Her right eye is also part blind. As you can also see her mane is "buzzed". She is domestic and is a jumper, but loves to dance, so her owner tried her in dressage- she got too much into it, so back to jumping. (useless unfo)
