[Oddly Shaded]

Unwrappable equids were created 2 years ago around Christmas time. You get told the base colour at the beginning and this year there is a little twist to our traditional celebration. I can't tell you what it is yet, but keep your eye out and something might happen XD The winner will be announced between Christmas day and January 10th (to allow for busy artist schedules). This is also when the equid will be completely unwrapped!

Answer 1:The unwrap mes are just a very special tradition in the WME community and owning one would be also like owning a piece of equid history to me, I also love the fact its like getting a semi-custom equid so its a little more special since being able to help decide what it looks like puts a piece of me in to the design.
Answer 2: this little boy loves Christmas because it lets him unleash his inner fool as he prances around with his Santa hay and Bell harness neighing his favorite holiday tune, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer!
Answer 3: white zig zag quip with a chocolate brown filling rubbing vertically along his neck ave back, slowly turning horizontal as it goes down his rump and legs
Answer 4:his best Christmas gift was a simple apple his very first friend ever gave him when he was a little foal. It was his first Christmas and he was just a few months old, he had not made any friends yet because he was younger than all the others. He was lonely that gleaming Christmas until one of the fillies noticed him ask alone and trotted over with a shiny red apple with a little bow on it. Leon was ecstatic to get his first Christmas gift and friend, so that's why that little apple is the best gift he has ever gotten.

Answer 1: I'd like an Unwrap Me Equid, because I've been watching the species for a while and I grew rather fond of looking at them and seeing how big the community seems. ;u; I'd love to be able to own an Equid in general and love it like so many others love theirs!<3
Answer 2: He's not overly excited about Christmas, but he doesn't hate it. He's on the fence in regards to Christmas and he doesn't mind celebrating it.
Answer 3: It depends on what he looks like really, I don't mind and I'm not picky. However I think it would be really cool if he had some sort of stripey Norse/Celtic markings? Like, I don't mind where, as long as they'd fit him well. That would be really rad. ;v;
Answer 4: The best gift he ever got? He got some strawberry flavored circular mints and he thinks those were the best in the world. He got really into those after he got that from his stocking.

Answer 1: I'd like an 'unwrap me' equid because I think it's a great idea, letting the artists collaborate with the owner on the appearance of the equid (so to speak). It's about as close as I'll come to designing my own
Answer 2: I think he's not so into Christmas - it's not so much that he dislikes it, more that he doesn't understand what's significant about it. He already spends time with his loved ones and appreciates what he has, he doesn't see why a whole day of his year should be special for something he does all the time.
Answer 3: From either the top line or bottom line, I'd like to see tiger-like quipping in a lighter colour than the base which extends towards the center line, and fades before reaching the opposing line of the body (so if from top: solid at top and begins fading at center, does not appear at bottom, and vice verse)
Answer 4: The best gift he ever got wasn't a Christmas gift, it was his birthday gift. His very first birthday, when he was given his name. Devlin hears his name every day, uses it often, it identifies him in a way nothing else can. It's the very first gift he was given, and the one which he treasures most.

Answer 1: I would love to own an unwrap me equid being as this is my first event ever with the WME community. This is the first year of my life that I have ever looked forward to Christmas, and getting my first unwrap me equid would be a lovely way to top it all off. I think that these equids are extremely exciting, because honestly I'm dying to see what all of you have waiting for us c:
Answer 2: Lincoln personally couldn't care more or less about the holidays. He is just sort of "there." He is the kind of stallion to mold to how others emotions around him are, you could compare it to how a sponge absorbs water. This is much like how he is with others feelings. If someone is excited about Christmas, then for their sake he will listen as they babble about their excitement. On the other side, if there is a bahumbug lurking around, Lincoln is the one that you tend to find standing along with them. He doesn't try to shove happiness down their throat, he knows it would only upset them further. Therefore he simply remains there and offers comfort, his large ears there to listen to anyone and everyone. You could say that he enjoys the holidays after all of this, it makes him feel better knowing he was kind to others and there for them. Not so much into the holiday itself though.
Answer 3: I feel like this stallion would be my sweet angel, therefore, a creamy-white wing like quip I feel would look stunning as well as fit his personality very very well. It would have a charming, smooth flow to them. I can see the ends of these markings ending in sharp points, showing that he may be a softy, but he still has that bite to him. Speaking of bite, maybe a cynical skull quipping of sorts would top this all off. Who would expect for a stallion of his looks to act as kind and caring as Kris Kringle himself.
Answer 4: The greatest gift that Lincoln has ever recieved... He isn't one that enjoys receiving so much as giving, but if I had to say he had one thing that he treasures, it would have to be a beautiful ornament of a dove. It's of white pure as snow, a glossy glass that seems to reflect everything. It hangs above his stall door, and he is often caught standing there admiring its beauty. Not only is it beautiful, but it was given to him by our neighbor, a young and very sweet girl. They were the best of friends, since he was a young colt and she was only 5 years of age. This was given to him on the first Christmas of them knowing one another. The girl left 3 years ago, and Lincoln still misses her dearly, wondering why she ever had to go without proper goodbyes. He knows that she is still with him in his heart, and he has the comfort of his master, the master's family, as well as the fellow domestic equids that all call this large expanse of land home.

Answer 1: I have been in the equid community for two years, and so Im hoping to get my first unwrap 'quid.
Answer 2: Alchemy enjoys the spirit of Christmas and nothing else, he wont admit it though! Alchemy likes the feeling of Christmas, how theres cookies and hot coa coa.

Answer 1: Honestly, the reason I would want this equid is not because it is an unwrap me quid, yes it's an event but I look beyond that. I am rather curious on the base coloration and where the paint markings are. Ive always wanted a smokey black to add to my herd but have never been able to win one. Even though I don't do Christmas, I'm looking forward to Christmas Day to see this boy unwrapped and given to a lucky person, even if it isn't me. I bet he is gorgeous too.
Answer 2: Gabriel is a Christmas fanatic. He is a tamed quid so he enjoys pulling children around on a sled and showing them the lights that light up the small town he calls home. Some people to overboard and even have their stairs covered with lights, blinking on and off. He also enjoys playing as one of Santa's reindeer and helping distribute presents to the little kids, that is his favorite part of Christmas, giving to others.
Answer 3: I would like to see some bead necklace quipping along his neck, depending on where his paint markings are. For his face I would like to see a tearstreak quip mark. Along the rest of his body some simple fading into his stomach vertical quipping and the same quipping halfway down his tail.
Answer 4: though giving is something Gabriel helps doing on Christmas, he has never recieved a Christmas gift. A large basket of carrots always awaits him on his return from giving out presents. Though he hasn't recieved a gift, he has had a gift on Christmas in the form of a three year old child who he had grown attached to. The child came running into his stall on Christmas Day, scaring the daylights out of him in the process, screeching something horrible that one would recognize as Christmas carols. The boy then stuck his fingers in Gabe's nose and continued to sing. Having no idea what to do, Gabe played along and for a good two hours, the duo pranced around his stall, him neighing, boy singing. He found this to be the best gift he could have ever gotten.

Answer 1: I want an Unwrap Me Quid mostly because of the tradition behind it. I've always been a stickler for tradition, and to finally win an Unwrap Me Quid would make me very happy. The fact that they are semi-customized is also a plus, because that makes them just that much more special <3
Answer 2: Kondo is a purebred, 100% scrouge. Too many soft hearts and jolly faces. Who could be so happy with the bitter cold nipping at their noses and such? It is quite unnatural. Although a blizzard or two may lighten his mood, because everyone likes the icy, harsh conditions of a blizzard, right?
Answer 3: I imagine Kane with this style quip along his shoulder/leg and extending up his neck and slightly down his back (like this), and a color that is slightly lighter than his coat.
Answer 4: The best gift Kondo ever got was, believe it or not, a friend, someone to care for. This tough (and occasionally violent) stallion was hard to love from the start. His mother once told him that there was nothing but evil in his eyes and soul. So imagine Kondo's surprise when he stumbled upon a tiny fawn buried within the snow on a Christmas night. He very nearly stepped on the poor thing, if it hadn't been for the little squeak it managed. Kondo was unsure at first, but not even he could pass up the fawn's big, sad eyes. Kondo cared for the fawn until it was old and well enough to go it alone.
