Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays guys! Sorry it's a little late I wasn't sure if I could start posting XD but I got the go ahead so here we are! Another year come and gone and it's time to celebrate the holiday with a little special unwrapping of equids.

A little info blurb if you guys were curious
Unwrappable equids were created 2 years ago around Christmas time. You get told the base colour at the beginning and this year there is a little twist to our traditional celebration. Part of the wrapping will be removed in order to allow you a sneak peek of the base coat under the wrapping! XD The winner will be announced between Christmas day and January 10th (to allow for busy artist schedules). This is also when the equid will be completely unwrapped!

His favourite treat: Candycanes! The red and white peppermint ones are his favourite. He will go nuts over them and probably do about anything to get one. It isn't the winter season till he gets his first candycane. If he smells or sees one and doesn't get to eat it, he will be one sad quiddy and mope.
What kind of Quipping? Simple Necklace quipping, maybe some tail quip.
What does he like to do around the Holidays? He loves playing in the snow! The minute there is snow on the ground all he wants to do is play. One of his favourite snow activities are Snowangels! Though in all honesty it is basically him diving into the snow and rolling around like a crazy equid; but he likes to call the messy pothole in the snow an equid angel so we don't like to argue. Another snow activity he loves is kicking snow off trees. He will run under a heavy cedar or pine and kick the trunk and see if he can shake the snow off the branches. He will do it onto himself or his friends, then buck around like crazy to get the snow off himself.

What does he like to do around the Holidays?
Tristin absolutely loves the holidays, and not only Christmas but also New Years. For Christmas he is a stickler for following traditions, and always begins with decorating. He'll first put up a tree, and decorate it with anything and everything that looks neat that he can find. Then, he'll put lights and other stuff up like stockings and candy canes all over the place, hoping that everyone will see them and enjoy it. On Christmas Eve he always bakes cookies, and on the next morning he and his friends will all open presents together around the tree, usually with a warm fire crackling close by. After Christmas comes New Years, and Tristin always likes to end the year with a bang. He'll get together a bunch of fireworks and set them all off, enjoying the colors and all the crackling and booming sounds that they make. Don't forget about the sparklers either, you'll usually find this quid running about with a bunch of them all night long.

His favourite treat: Honey-dipped apples - because it brings the taste of summer into winter and he just totally loves it for that!
What kind of Quipping? He needs little snowflake dapples to go with those beautiful star-shaped ones on his hindquarters!! Maybe in several shades of white and silver and over his legs, or along his neck A blue and gold scarf or shawl would also look lovely on him Plus little silver bells at his tail or behind each hoof to match the festive mood.
What does he like to do around the Holidays? Snuggle with his loved ones in the quiet / blustery nights or gallop free and prancing with his herdmates through the racing wind for the sheer fun of it!

Equid's Name: Sukaldari meaning "chef" in Basque

His favourite treat: Suka was once domestic for a winter, and during that time he got to taste hot cocoa powder brownies. Among the various treats he received for Christmas that year, the sweet chocolate mixed with the marshmallow lightness of cocoa powder remained as his favorite. Even now, despite his memory issues, the taste lingers on his tongue at every year's first snowfall.
What kind of Quipping? I can totally see him having pale yellow {palomino-colored?} drip quip hanging off of his shoulder, and drippy necklace quip on his neck as well as in swirls {like tinsel on Christmas trees} up his legs! c: So just drippy quip on his neck, shoulder, legs and tail- completely Christmas-related because this drippy, droopy quip should have blots in it, exactly like popcorn on popcorn strings. ;D
What does he like to do around the Holidays? As much as an equid can possibly be, Suka is somewhat of a cook around the nearby herds. While he doesn't exactly have thumbs- or hands- or anything vaguely important for cooking, he loves to travel in mile-wide radiuses at a time seeking out rare ingredients like helenium, coneflower and firecracker plant to create a Christmas meal worth remembering. Even with his dreadfully bad memory, Sukaldari manages to memorize a new recipe each year and the massive "salads" he mixes up cause herds from coast to coast to travel for a taste.
