Nevada is a generally sweet girl. She's a bit shy but warms up very quickly.
However, she gets frustrated easy when things to work out or when what ever she is trying to do doesn't work
right. {Like her first attempt at a Chocolate eggnog mix}. When working she zones out and when asked questions she may answer something like "No Cheese." Or "Yes the Potato's are there," making for a strange, but mildly amusing conversation until she snaps out of it and shoos You away. Nevada doesn't care Much for winter or Holidays itself, but she'll enjoy them purely for the eggnog and will often buy as much as she can and store some in the freezer. She rather dislikes snowstorms, as she gets cold easy and forces her to bundle up and stay in side, the upside is she can laze about and read her books.

Personality;
Serenity is an interesting girl, she loves to stay active and having nothing to do for long periods of time would drive her mad. Thus she is usually always found doing something, from little jobs, chores, art, cooking or even playing with something in her hands to keep herself entertained. She is quite caring and loves to help others in need, from buying a sad child a gift, helping a elder across the street, giving someone poor money or food, you name it. She can be impatient, but tries not to be rude or mean about how slow things might be going.

Hello! Primal Groudon/Captain Cuttlefish at your service! I've tried out for a few of these adorable holiday Plumies, and this guy is by far one of my favorites!

After a little bit of consideration, I've decided this guy's name should be Nutmeg Gingerbread.
Nutmeg simply because it's a prime ingredient in the making of eggnog. It also sounds downright adorable for a name. Gingerbread was chosen because of its relation with Christmas, just like eggnog.

Without Shading

I got an idea from a good friend to give this boy some warm-colored hair... Like a nice, cozy fire... That sort of thing seems awfully comfortable in this cold season of winter, and I rather liked the idea and the look of brown-to-red hair on this guy. I think it really fits him.
Now, that glob of whipped cream has a bit of a deeper story, though that friend of mine also helped me come up with it. Okay, so there's a great drink at Starbucks I like to get around this time of year. It's the Pumpkin Spice frappuccino. Now, what does pumpkin spice have to do with eggnog? I'll tell you! So the first time I got the stuff, I let my mom take a sip because she's cool and deserves it. She totally freaked out and said the stuff had way too much of an eggnog flavor to it... Which was odd. Anyway, when I saw this guy, I instantly thought of that moment, and decided to give him a little cream puff with pumpkin spice sprinkled on top! Thanks, mom!

This guy's feathers were based on fall leaves, specifically those of flowering dogwood. Fall was another idea I was helped to come up with, and it really fits because where I live, fall doesn't come until winter. It doesn't get cold enough for leaves to fall until about the middle of winter... Winter in the desert is non-existent if it isn't night time, and the effects of fall come incredibly late. So I thought the idea was perfect, and I went along and gave him a fall-leaf-themed feather scheme.
I chose flowering dogwood, simply because of their red color when they fall. I figured that they went best with his warm-colored hair, and their shape resembled Plumerian feathers the most.

Nutmeg has heterochromia, or two different colored eyes. His right eye is a dark reddish color, and his left eye is a dark orange-brown color. These colors were picked mainly to go along with his warm hair colors, and they go well with his overall design, too.

Some simple info about Nutmeg.

Stuff about Nutmeg... Well, first off, he's very sweet, and is constantly out looking for something he can do to help others. He's a little shy, usually quiet at the beginning of a first meeting, but will start to get a little more open as time goes on. He's sensitive, and gets his feelings hurt often from simple jokes that usually weren't intended to harm anyone. Nutmeg takes things a little too seriously lots of times, and can thus overcompensate various things and start to freak out.
When he's not out helping or talking to others, Nutmeg can usually be found laying in front of a warm fire, sipping hot cocoa or some other holiday drink. He absolutely loves to wear scarves, and his favorite scarf is red with black stripes (his mother made it for him as a child, and he cherishes it now). He hates the cold and because of this has tons of blankets and extra scarves around the house.

Nouget is a potentially honest plumie, he will never cease to tell the truth even if it will hurt. He believes that there cannot be happiness without pain and he understands this. He himself experienced this when he was younger, now at 21 he is a wiser being. Expect bluntness when corresponding with this fellow because he lay it on thick. He does not understand the boundaries and someone will have to let him know if what he is saying is too honest. Now Nouget is considered very foolish, often attempting things that others find idiotic or dumb. He tends to act like a jerk with a person he doesn't know which limits his small circle of friends, significantly. Especially around females does he loose his cool, he lets comments slip that he really should share but it is not his fault. He sometimes believes what others say to eagerly. He later on finds himself being fooled/tricked and after that it’s a wrap. He will close himself up and spend time alone until he gets over what has happened to him/ he is very individualized in nature and prefers to spend time by himself. Surprisingly, Nouget is afraid which he masks with humor. When faced with things that bring painful memories he will often ignore them and say something to make everyone laugh. His friends know and they don’t find this habit to be very healthy. Humor is his coping mechanism, his security blanket. One he holds onto very tightly. He would rather laugh then cry simply because he feels the need to act tough around others and will not show weakness at any time. Noug is a very complicated plumerian, one that still has a lot of problems to fix. He's so afraid of fear that it totally consumes him, overwhelming him; and obliterating everything in sight before leaving him feeling weak and alone. He does not understand that there are others who want to help him, instead believing everyone is out to get him. He's insecure and not very trust-worthy.


Emotional Sensitivity:
One thing about Nouget that he can’t stand at all, is how emotional he gets. He is one of those plumie’s that feel on a deeper level than others because they bottle up so many emotions that it’s hard to feel normal. When he loves something he loves with his whole heart, he feels so much that it actually hurts and that is what scares him. When he is hurt he feels nothing but fear and pain, it controls him and overtakes every sense in his mortal body. Everything that a regular would feel is magnified for him a 100 times over. It kills him, it really does and all he wants is for it to go away, he does not want to feel this way and it shows. He is too emotionally cautious to come out , he acts as though it doesn't matter. He has an uncommon ability in which he picks up on subtleties that others might miss — a look, a feeling, a message embedded in a seemingly straightforward statement.

Carmine isn't the kind of Plumie that boasts his beauty and grace, but rather stays far away from the prying eyes of the world. Usually found in the corner of small cafés or coffee shops, he would rather hide behind his scarf and get lost in a good book than chatter with friends. Day in and day out, Carmine will stay in his corner afraid that another "incident" would happen. What was it about him that seemed to attract others? He didn't like those people, the kind of people that would just appear in front of him, stick their nose inches from his face, and blurt out with such gall: "Hey, what's wrong with your eyes?" Perhaps they thought he was blind or maybe had cataracts. No, it was none of these. His eyes had been white since birth due to some sort of genetic mutation. He never minded it until one fateful day, twelve years ago. "Soulless" was the little eleven year old girl called him. She believed he was some sort of demon or had a contagious disease that would steal the souls of anyone who talked to him. And she made sure to warn others of his soullessness. From elementary on, no one would speak to him in fear of having their souls sucked away. Rejection does something to a young childs' mind that stays with them all their lives. For this reason, Carmine has shied away from others, having no social skills from his lack of interaction. He s timid, unsure, and self-conscious. This quiet soul has many scars, putting up thick walls and barriers for each one. But maybe in the near future, someone will come along and break these powerful walls with a gentle touch and find the golden heart within him. Can you be the first to try?

I am the next generation; ready to fight for what I beive in. No more homophobia, no more racism, no more fear. This world has been ruled by fear and uncertainty for far too long and it is time for that to change. Calypso is anything but fragile. She’s strong-willed, hard headed and a sass machine. She fights for what she believes in and absolutely hates any and all inequality, especially homophobic people.

She’s doesn’t trust central authority at all, often criticizing their ever move and is caught up in ever single world event. She hates the media, instead traveling around to find out what’s really been happening with her own eyes. One of her major pet peeves is biased news anchors; especially ones that have been proven wrong countless times but keep spewing completely idiotic words out of their mouth.

Calypso is unbelievably stubborn, but often in stressful situations, she gets tongue tied and sometimes stress cries if the situation is bad enough. She hates herself for it, as it is a sign of weakness and weakness is not acceptable.

Calypso doesn’t trust others at all and is more likely to push someone away than to let them get close to her. She hopes to start a relationship one day, but she isn’t sure she’ll ever be able to let someone get that close to her.
