What is something you've done for someone to brighten someones day; When my friend was feeling low, I pestered her, drew her things and joked with her all day until she smiled. After, she told me what was wrong, and I hugged her and promised it'd get better. Then, we hung out together long as possible. :> It wasn't much, but made her happy!

In real life, it depends on who's feeling down, but if it's one of my closest friends I berate them and get them on the right track with some tough love. Other times it's soft words and understanding, or just being silent and listening to them vent. Actions speak louder than words, they say.
