Easter drifted quietly into the child's room, trying not to, but bumping into the walls. It was her first night out into the children's houses. Her bells felt amazingly heavy with beautiful dust. Easter saw the little girl sleeping peacefully, even though her eyes were closed. The sight--the humans' children themselves--was always beautiful. The tiny horselike creature dived lower until her feet brushed the soft bed sheets. She took a deep breath and took the soft green rope just above the bell in her teeth, sprinkling some glittery dust onto the girl's pillow, right beside her head. Instantly, her restless tossing and turning ceased, and the five-year-old innocent child relaxed. Easter watched for a moment. Was that a smile in the corners of the girl's mouth? And this is only my first night, she thought. Easter knew why her fellow Belldandy friends enjoyed this so much. Then she drifted out the window again, carefully closing it behind her. She smiled and floated to the next window, peeking in.
