stardust guardians, universally known as just 'guardians' are, in the cheesiest sense of the phrase,
guardians of the galaxy. they traverse the universe to maintain peace and order for all of its beings.
each guardian is born from a star and carries the essence of that star with it for the rest of its life.
based on what little human research there is of these magnificent creatures, the average guardian
ranges in size from a tiger to a horse, but will continue to grow the older it gets. there is no physical
distinction between male and female guardians; although each guardian may identify with a gender,
they are born sexless.

you must mark the main thread to be eligible to adopt a stardust guardian!
This one is based off of those japanese shrine familiars you see in animes like Kamisama Kiss, Naragami, and Natsumi's book of friends. This is an impress me, All edits and prettying up are acceptable. (just make sure I can read it.)

Kaku stared at the pristine lake. All was well at the shrine and she had decided to watch the Koi swim around. She sighed. The shrine god had left long ago, killed to be exact.
Her eyes fluttered shut to remember the moment of her death. The day seemed so normal. Spirits in the air, people giving offerings and just visiting.
Kaku had been preparing rice for that day's meal. But then a man came to the shrine. To humans he seemed normal but Kaku sensed an odd presence. Leaving the kitchen she went to the front of the shrine to see the Shrine God and the man talking. He was a demon. And a foul smelling one at that.
Kaku warned her master to come back into the shrine. But her master did not realize the danger.
That's when the demon ate the Shrine God. It's jaw dislocated like a snakes. Opening wide as green liquid dribbled onto the floor. The Shrine God tried to run but, the demon was to fast and swallowed the shrine god.
Her eyes opened again as she sighed. Since that day work had piled up on Kaku. No one else to help...
And the shrine was having less and less visitors. Meaning it was slowly turning to wreck. But being stubborn as Kaku was, she refused to leave.
She sighed again as she fished a leaf out of the pond before walking away back to the old shrine. Today seemed to be dragging on forever...

Kakusareta is a stubbern Familiar who usually only does things to benefit herself or the shrine she works at. But this is not all.
Kakusareta is considered to have a split-personality. Her normal one the stubborn familiar. The other a vicious familiar who is cruel and un-caring towards others who only seeks to get her own pleasure and happiness at the cost of others.
