For this one, tell me what their reaction is the first time they see snow

first reaction to snow: Percy's first experience with snow was during the worst winter we've ever had. The cold wind howled outside the stable, and hail bombarded the wooden barn. Percy stood alone in his stall, beside his mother. Despite being a full grown three year old, he stood, side pressed against the wall, nose buried in his mother's name, breathing in her comforting scent. The night passed on slowly. When morning came the storm had died down. Piles of fresh white snow mane dunes in the normally flat pasture. Percy was the first one to go greet the winter morning. He backed up in his stall, holding his head from my reach, snorting abruptly. It took several minutes, but when I get the halter on him he trudge slowly, throwing wary glances at his mother behind him. His ears flicked back against his skull, when a gust of wind hit his face, as I opened the stable door. Percy opened a careful eye and was astonished by what he saw. White where there was once green. How could this be? He cocked his head to the side, bewildered by what he was seeing. He pulled his head to the ground to sniff the powder. A few flurries flew up his nose, and he snorted, tossing his head. The snow splashed like water as he trotted briskly through it. He neighed backwards to his mother, telling her that it was alright, as he romped by my side all the way to the pasture.

show name (optional): Snow
name: Flurry
gender: Mare
halter color: Red with snowflakes
first reaction to snow: Her first reaction to snow, when she was let out of her stable one morning after it had snowed, was to stare at the bright white stuff on the ground, evaluating it. She snorted and lifted head up high as she tried to wrap her head around what it was. When she took her first steps into it, she picked up her feet as high as she could, as if to avoid it, but soon she was prancing around in the snow like she was born in it, moving smoothly through the drifts and churning it up into a flurry, hence her name.

name: Vera
gender: Mare
halter color: tan leather with name plate
first reaction to snow: Well at first Vera just stared, the humans tried to walk her out of the barn but she wouldn't budge. She ended up staying inside for an awfully long time, she just refused to go out. Then one day, while the handler was having her daily try at getting Vera outside, the mare slipped on some ice just in the door. Vera tumbled outside, slipping on the ice and landed heavily in a large fluffy snow pile. She was leaping up in terror, as she realized that the snow was actually very nice. It was cool and soft on her pelt, tickling her ears and nose. From that day on Vera has adored snow.
