- About the user:
I'm .o p t i m i s m., but I commonly go by Opti. I haven't tried out for too many plumies, but I average out at about 5 or 6 plumies. I make it a point to only try for plumies I connect with, rather than every one I see. I feel highly attracted to this sweet little dove and I'll pour everything I can into this form. I hope to make this girl my first plumie, and develop her fully as a powerful character.
Onto the Little Dove...
Name;
Adella Marie Zanille
Nickname;
'Della, Adella Marie, Addie
Gender;
Female
Age;
21 years young
Height;
Shorter than the average female Plumie, due to her slightly
shorter legs and bird-like features.
Body Features;
Slightly plump, with a fluffier chest that accents her shape
and curves.
Color Codes;
#fcfcfc
adadad

Voice;
Much like a dove, 'Della's voice compares to their soft coo,
often lower in register and with a gentle undertone. When
startled, however, it mimics their frightened squawk.
Fur Scent;
Blackberries and Vanilla
Gait;
Humorously familiar to a bird, Adella bobs her head when she
walks and keeps her head up. She takes slow, deciding steps
and occasionally stumbles over something as simple as her own
foot. Even so, her step is essentially silent like the descent
of a bird onto a springy branch. She is often teased for her gait
and struggles to hide it, though it naturally shows through.
Sexuality;
Bisexual, though leans towards the guys
Flaws;
-Adella has very sensitive ears, which makes her quite skittish
to loud noises, which requires her to be extremely vigilant in
most situations.
-Addie was born with fragile bones, and is prone to hairline
fractures in the bones of her lower legs, or breaking smaller
bones. She's learned to live with it, though she must be
relatively careful.
-Lactose Intolerant, and has always suffered with it. Ingesting
too much milk {Or milk based products} without medication
causes her to quickly wither and overall leads to a day in the
bathroom, curled up in agony. This often makes ice cream
dates a struggle, as she's too polite to refuse. Substitutes all
regular milk ingredients for soy milk.
Psychological:
Intellegence:
Adella tends to be more book smart than 'street smart' in a sense. She can easily spit out facts about random subjects, such as art or fantasy movies. In wandering the busy city streets, she's innocent to the possible danger that could be lurking and simply bumbles about.
Habits:
-Seemingly preens her feathered markings every night before she goes to sleep
-Fluffs up her chest fur when nervous or scared, poofing herself out to make herself seem larger.
Attitude:
Adella tends to have a positive attitude in which she believes there is good in everyone. She proves too innocent for this world, especially living in New York City. She can get quite pissy when she's aggravated though, so look out! A fuming Adella is a terrifying {yet oddly humerus} Adella.
Happiness:
Though quite the worrier, Adella tends to be a happy person, always whistling a little classical tune as she strolls through Central Park, or visits the Met to see the newest display of artwork.
Quirks:
-Tends to sleep like a dove, settling her weight down onto the ground, centered on her paws, and settling her head on her shoulders and close to her slightly plump body.
-With her unusual gait, Della tends to step with her toes hitting the ground first then rolling back to her heel, giving her the flowing, bobbing movement.
-Tilts her head from side to side when someone is speaking to her, registering what they are saying with her full sense of hearing.
Personal:
Wealth:
Adella has long come from a family that didn't have much money to spare. She worked her way through college, started her own glassblowing studio when she had enough money, and has built her way up from there. She lives in a modest apartment with 2 bedrooms, one for guests when she needs it. She owns very little jewelry, and even fewer precious stones. Generally wears small pieces of jewelry she herself has crafted or the necklace she was given by her mother. Adella has little money to spare after paying rent, funding her business, and tending to other needs.
Important Posession:
Glass Butterfly: The first thing she ever constructed in any of her glass-working classes, Adella keeps it hung in the center of a large mobile she has hanging in her room. The pink and white butterfly is lumpy and rough, but it's too precious to her to change it in any way.
Parents Profession:
Father- Professional Classical Pianist, played all over the country when he was younger.
Mother- Architect, constructed multiple concert halls, libraries, and other structures mostly in large cities.
Childhood:
Addi was born and raised in New York City, living an the upper-middle class apartment for the whole of her childhood with her parents and no siblings. If asked, she'll reply that contrary to most dramas, no, she was not born in a cab stuck in traffic on the way to the hospital. She was born in a hospital room, believe it or not. Usually an eye roll added for emphasis.
At age 5, while playing on the playground at her preschool, 'Della fell off the monkey bars and broke her arm. After being treated, a teary Adella and her parents were informed of her bone condition. After that, her parents were highly protective of her, always fretting when she tried to roughhouse with the other children or even something as simple as hide or seek.
Finally, at age 7, her father urged her to learn to play the piano. He was quite pleased when she took to it, and his little dove flourished under the tutelage of her father. From age 7 to her junior year of high school, her father had his mind set on his little girl following in his footsteps to become a famous musician. When she told him hesitantly about her sculpture classes, he was furious about her going behind his back.
During the winter of Adella's senior year of high school, she received the college acceptance letter from a highly-ranked art program. Her mother congratulated Addi while her father remained silent in disappointment. From the day she moved out, her father hasn't said a word to her, though Adella still keeps in contact with her mother.
Hobbies;
-Pianist; Has played the piano since she was 7 years old, and is quite good. She'll often sing softly along to her favorite tunes, and the classical music she plays on her piano tends to be that which she whistles absentmindedly.
-Gardening; Adella, feeling the need for something green even if she wasn't at Central Park, constructed an abstract garden on the roof of her apartment building {After persuading the building super, of course}. It takes up half the roof, curls and winds, and is tended to by none other than herself.
-Rollerskating; There's nothing better to her than taking a spin around the park on her advanced-grade roller-blades, with her thin creme scarf tied loosely around her neck and rippling behind her in the wind. It's a great thing that helps her relax and
-Movies; Being the fragile, peaceful, gentle plumie she is, few would suspect that she is a huge fan of action movies. The more explosions, the better! No sappy chick-flicks for this girl, if there's not a physical fight it's not allowed on movie night!
Beliefs; No particular beliefs religiously, though she does hope there's life after death. She does what she thinks is morally right for not only herself but those around her, and believes that it will come back around in due time.
Lifestyle;
'Della tends to live a modest life, only buying what she needs when she needs it, reuses things she can, and donates anything with good quality that comes out of her apartment with seasonal cleaning. She tends to
Profession;
Adella is a glassblower. With only her breath, a piece of glass, her tools, and a furnace she can craft delicate and highly detailed piece of work. She works in a small studio in the blocks near Central Park, and is hoping to have a buisness partner in the future to help with bills. Hey, owning your own studio can get expensive in New York City!

Lisian-The Florist:
Lisian is like a brotherly figure to Adella, and she tends to go to him for advice when she's fuming. He's helped her create the garden on the roof, in fact, she gives him credit for the entire design. Li brought hundreds of seeds, small trees, pots, boards, soil, and more than 'Della could have hoped for. The pair often strolls through Central Park in the spring to observe the beautiful new flowers, and Adella usually goes to him for advice on her craft for his keen color sense.
