Sutā Tōmeina [introduction by himself]
Hello,maybe you read it already,but my name is Suta.
It means Star in japanese. I am sorry,I am actually a very quiet Kia so I don't really know what to tell you about me.
Let's see..I am a boy.But I actually get mistaken for a girl sometimes. Maybe it's because of my hair or because of the gems.
I guess you don't see a guy collecting and wearing gems everyday huh...

❝ apathetic------ Suta is an apathetic kiamara, one who doesn't speak much nor participates in activities he deems too much work. It's common to find him locked in his house, thinking about random little things. But even an asocial kia like himself goes outside to socialize and visit places occasionally. Even when he does get out with friends, though, he stays quiet unless speaking is absolutely necessary. Something rarer than Suta's socialization, however, are the times when Suta's trickle of words become a raging waterfall. He doesn't notice when he does this, of course - someone has to tell him.

❝ possessive------ Suta has a big fault for becoming too attached to both objects and people. This trait may appear when a friend of his introduces Suta to one of their own friends, or when someone asks to borrow, have or even just look at some of his precious crystals. He becomes reliant on his crystals and on his relationships, too afraid to let go for fear of change or loss. His crystals and pearls, on one hand, are his life, a livelyhood. On the other hand, his friends (and in the future maybe a romantic partner) he worries see him as clingy, needy and immature

❝ compulsive liar------ A very cautious and wary kiamara, the ones Suta trust are few and far between. As well as having trust issues, Suta is very self-conscious and worries about how others see him; he finds comfort in the ability to lie and be able to have some control in how he is percieved.

❝ social anxiety------ Fearing socializing with others and being uncomfortable around people in general, Suta developed chronic social anxiety as a teen in highschool. He's often too quiet for strangers to hear when he (rarely) decides to speak, and he'd just like to be able to run away from conversations. Although one can try to get rid of/minimalize the effects of social anxiety, Suta seems too scared to try to fight it.

• Swimming. There is nothing more to say. Suta loves swimming like others love food and sleeping. That's why he doesn't like winter and loves summer about everything else. In summer he would always run outside,jump into the water,later get something to eat and return to the beach or lake. Suta loves to travel to places with gorgeous places to swim.
  
  
• Collecting. Do you know what you can find at the bottom of the sea? That's right,pearls! Suta always liked the beauty of these shiny,round things. But also on land you can find small and big crystals, which Suta has to collect evertime he sees one. He adores to wear them,even if Kias might stare at a guy wearing jewellery.
  
  
• Puzzles. Suta has lots of free time in his life,so is there anything better than sit at the table and complete puzzles? Puzzle aren't that expensive and a great pastime. You can find many of them hanging on his wall in,filling up his room with colorful pictures of the ocean and sea creatures.
  
  
• Giving Japanese names. It is sure fun to invent different japanese names for different Kias. You can call them what ever you want, giving them a name maybe because of their personality or looks. Or maybe their job? There is no limit for Suta and his open mind.
  
  
• Mangas. Reading mangas is one of Suta's favourite things to do. But not only reading- he is obsessed to hoard them and has a whole bookshelf full of manga novels. His obsession with these comic books is very expensive sometimes and not good for him. Suta is trying not to buy that much anymore and read the whole mangas he already bought but it's hard for him. Everytime he sees an intresting cover of one,he must hold himself not to buy it,but it often ends with him taking it home.

The relationship between Suta and Lamis is stronger than you may think. Suta has caughted himself by looking up at him and being a bit jealous while listening to Lamis great stories of traveling through the desert and visiting many places. Something Lamis doesn't know is,Suta likes to call him 'hikui hi' which means low or quiet fire. Why? Because his pelt and hair reminds him of a flame and Lamis' personality is the kindest he has met yet.

Opal is Suta's other only friend. She and Lamis never met before, but because they are travelers Suta invited them to the Christmas market in his city. Suta and her are great friends and akward timid Kias,together they are just being dorks. Just as he looks up to Lamis,he also does it to Opal. She also travels around, explores new caves- which are also near water! His secret name for her is 'atataka mizu' meaning warm water. I think you can already guess why,it's because of her character traits and her love to caves placed near by water.

Ｐｒｉｚｅｄ Ｐｏｓｓｅｓｓｉｏｎ

Suta's most prized possession is a big crystal start made out of Citrin [a yellow crystal]. It was someting he found as he was just a child. His class made a tour through a crystal cave that day and at the end of the day everyone could choose a crystal which he could take home.But Suta already found a crystal shaped like a star in the cave. Of course the teachers wanted him to give it to the people who work here but Suta just shook his head until they let him take it home. I guess you can say he was already possessive as a little kit.

Ｔｈｅ Ｓｔｏｒｙ


"Mhh..hey Suta are you excited?" A Kiamara slid on the place beside him back and forth,not holding back their agitaion. Suta closed his eyes and leaned his forhead against the window of the bus,which was full of screaming and laughing Kiamara children. In some minutes they would arrive at 'Heaven's Hole', a cave which was filled with different kinds of crystals. The young Kia smirked. Maybe he could take some crystals with him,unobtrusive and quiet. Suta opened his eyes again.He couldn't do that,he started to get compunctions again. The Kiamara beside him already turned away and talked with some others. He sighed,nobody thought he is intresting or a good partner to speak with. Everyone just thought Suta was a boring and quiet Kia,nothing more. Although he tried his best to fit in,but the others couldn't accept him like he was. A loud voice told everyone to shut their mouths and sit back on their places,they arrived at the cave. After everyone left the busand formed a crocodile.Suta was going alone at the very end. They payed at the entrance and entered the darkness full of bright colorful crystals.Step by step everyone moved forward,not trying to nudge anyone in the darkness. After they've walked through the beautifulness of the cave Suta spotted it. A bright yellow,star shaped crystal. His heart started pounding harder. He looked forward,they were near the exit. Fast,he reached out,grabbing the star and running after his class. He tried to act normal so no one would know what he did. The teachers asked the kits some questions about crystals and how they were made.Everyone just ignored Suta like always,what he was happy about for the first time. After the supervisors finished they told them,that everyone could choose one ,but only one, crystal or jewellery. Suta stood still,but some teachers came over to him,asking why wouldn't he take one too. He opened the hand with the star shapped crystal and said "I already have this". Everyone looked up and starred at him "Oh I am sorry,you can't take it with you,this is a crystal from the cave" A worker said and reached out for it,but Suta just turned away and ignored him. The worker and the teachers argued a long while,but in the end they left and Suta took the crystal star with him. The teachers weren't that happy how their tour has ended,but it sure was great to visit such an amazing place.
There was no other moment in his life where he found a crystal shapped like a thing,that's why the citrin crystal is very important to him. And who doesn't want a star shapped crystal anyways?
