This girls name would be Anyu, which is Inuit for snow. The reasoning behind naming her 'snow' is fairly obvious, but the name (which is pronounced as ahn-you), is a bright and fluffy name, just like the snow that defines it. It rolls off the tongue quite well, and I think it fits her well. It's short, sweet, and simple.

From what you've probably already deducted, Anyu is a girl.

When Anyu was growing up, she lived in a large country home on a farm that had been in her family for 50 years. It had been passed down to her parents by her grandparents, and when she had kids it was expected that they would grow up there too. Anyu, although appreciative of her parents trying to raise her to be self-sufficient on the farm, had always loved the city. The flashing light, the city that never slept- it was where she wanted to blossom into the star she'd always wanted to be. Eventually, when it came time for her to move out, she went to the city, leaving her family behind in her wake.
She didn't expect it would be that hard to get by in the city. To her naive imagination, she would move right into a small apartment (like all celebrities to-be) and immediately slip right into a job. That did not happen, as there were many people in the large city who moved there for the same reason as her. What made her so special, compared to them? To get by, she would preform small street tricks for passerby's that looked wealthy enough to spare some loose change. She'd lightly frost over an item of their choosing, in return for a couple dollars.
It was slow work, but soon enough she had saved up enough money to buy a small, abandoned shop that hadn't seen much activity in a couple of years. After she bought the shop, Anyu knew she needed to give herself a new identity. Anyu transformed from a small country girl with big dreams in an even bigger city, to a french-speaking designer who had a pushy, snobby facade. She knew that to get anywhere with her new clothing business, she had to be ruthless.
And that's exactly what she became. She built herself a stable job, as the owner of a fairly well-known clothing line. She was finally happy with where her life was going. She critiqued clothes, she went to fancy parties, and she was adored by a handful of people for her sassy, slightly snarky way of tackling life. The little girl who had always wanted to be a star on the runway, or broadway for that matter, was finally growing up.
She couldn't be any happier.
