Story:
Every once in his life he had wished for cold, to cut out the burning city heat. He'd get depressed thinking about it, open slates of concrete bubbling underneath the suns energy. Everything ready for a blanket of snow to cover them. His body was so ready for it, ever since he came here he had felt like, as cliche as it was, a fish out of water.
A Northlander out of the cold. He had tufty fur, and long warm hair and his family had decided that the best place to come was a place where that didn't matter apparently. Now that what he called family was gone all he had left was this damn heat stroke city.
He sat at the window, an airy sigh slipping out of him and dropping down to the floor. There was a chill, that was for sure, but barely anything. His breath almost didn't stick to the glass, viciously trying to stay on it like the little monster that it was. Though, the house was warmer than out there, as if to keep him warm if the cold front hit. Haha, very funny. Out there, there was sun shiny sun, and clouds and an array of birds hopping about with sentience. That's when he saw it... It, one solitary snow flake.
He plastered himself onto the glass like some sort of mad man, watching it shimmer in the sunishilght. It was beautiful. And in a few seconds it was gone.
