I said I'd post a non-raffle pallio, so here it is! Look familiar?

This pallio has ears that aren't as rounded as other pallio and their tail is also on the short side. They have a bubble style cape.

and some notes for you:

Stuff that'll help you win a competition (this can apply to any species comps really, not just for Pallio!):
• Writing that makes good use of show, not tell.
- Don't just tell me the character is X, show me why they're X. So instead of "She was a jerk" try "She pushed the helpless kid down" that shows me she's a jerk.
• Character personalities that are well fleshed out. (remember to give them some flaws!)
• Art that tells a story of sorts. Not just a character standing there, even if it is well drawn. I take creativity over quality.
- A piece of art where the character is actually doing something in some environment will always be better than a drawing where the character is just standing there with no background at all. Doesn't matter how beautiful the drawing is, it won't help you win.
- So just remember to put a lot of effort into your art! If it was done in oekaki I expect to see at least an hour or two in the timer.

And also, since this includes art/writings, there will be a runner up. Just one RU for this one, as you're only doing one art piece/story. Pallio RUs always have one trait in common with the main one, in addition to that, the winner can also pick a palette for me to work with, I'll be PMing you for it.

Personality:
He is as bubbly as his cape! Vesper is easily excited and tends to
be overenthusiastic about everything. It's not uncommon to see him
running around in circles or bouncing about like a lunatic. He often
becomes so entirely consumed with glee that he can be unreliable
and forgetful; a timely schedule is just not something he can follow.
Others tend to interpret his short attention span as disinterest and
apathy with a side of narcissism. Behind his mercurial exterior, he
harbors a very intelligent mind. He's prone to bouts of genius during
which those around him tend to become perplexed by just how smart
he is; at first glance, most think he's rather low on the IQ chart. His
tendency to trip and fall flat on his face is likely a contributor to
this perception. Though he's well aware of how others perceive his
odd, clutzy behavior, he rarely feels self conscious about it. They
are the ones judging a book by its cover after all.

Pallio name: Dunlop
Gender: Male

Personality: Dunlop is a pleasant fellow, if not slightly strange. He takes interest in things that not many people would find interesting, yet he is easy to get along with. Dunlop likes to collect unwanted or abandoned items, such as ducklings and bottletops. Because of this, his house is scattered with useless items.

Story: Being a rather curious Pallio, Dunlop liked objects. Anything and everything; especially pencils. To Dunlop, each pencil was another being; each holding secrets that could be unlocked when one drew with it. Dunlop’s red pencil liked to draw monsters while his rainbow pencil liked to draw trees and bushes. Dunlop hated seeing a pencil thrown away, as that was a pencil’s talent lost, so he collected them. They were shoved into tins, and the special ones were stuck onto the walls. Each one was categorised into whatever world they drew.
Boring school pencils seemed to like to draw random objects while fancier, artistic pencils like to draw vases and oranges. Dunlop loved every single, and couldn't bare to let go of one. Dunlop's friends have tried to convince him to throw away a few, but the caring Pallio couldn't bare to see them go.
They are just pencils after all, Dun!

Pallio name: Soap

Gender: Male

Personality: Soap got his name from his parents, seeing how his bubble-like markings reminded them of soap since when you put soap in a bathtub with water, it gets all bubbly! Soap strongly dislikes being dirty, though, he might get dirty for jumping in the rain puddles just for fun, but after that, he must be cleaned! Soap loves to play pranks on other people for fun. The only prank he would do is tell you to look down and when you look back up, BOOM! Whipped cream in your face. Others may get annoyed by that, but Soap finds it funny no matter how old it gets. He doesn't do it a lot since he is scared that it will get old and not funny. Soap is energetic too, he loves to bounce up and down a lot and loves to run. Every time when Soap sleeps, he goes in a dream world and bubbles float around him, each taking him to a different world, he must pick one each night. The bubbles don't change worlds, though

Gender: female
Personality:
Alexa is very, painfully shy, and prefers not to talk to anyone, other than her best, and only friend, a dog named Lark. When others talk to her, she often is too timid to answer, and they think rude of her for refusing to talk to them. Although she likes to go my Alexa, most call her Alex or Alexandria as she is too timid to correct them. She also is terrified of loud or strange noises, and will sometimes jump at even the thought of them. She also has a hatred of rain and getting wet, for unknown reasons.
Story:
Lark was under the canopy of a building,
hiding from the rain,
as it came down,
and down,
and down,
when she saw a creature,
either
a wet dog or a half–drowned rat,
she decided.
Either way,
she didn't like seeing it suffer,
getting wetter and wetter,
as the rain came down,
and down,
and down.

Alexa was searching around,
in the rain,
for shelter.
But she was too shy,
to ask for help,
to ask for a place to go.
So she looked around,
getting wetter and wetter,
searching for shelter,
when all of a sudden,
a white puppy came up to her,
a wet one, but not yet soaked,
and asked her:

¨Do you need a place to go?
As I have plenty of shelter,
but no one to share it with.¨

But Alexa,
being Alexa,
was too timid to answer.
And so the white puppy,
Lark,
said this:

¨Are you not able to talk?
Because,
it doesn't matter.
And if you need shelter,
just follow me.¨

And so Lark went back
to the shelter of the canopy,
and Alexa followed.
So they waited out the rain.
Together.

Personality: "The name's Charming, and you can certainly bet I am."
Charming's ego can get him into a lot of trouble- he doesn't intend to cause problems but no one thinks he's as perfect as he thinks he is. Why? He's still trying to answer that question himself. He's lost many friends because of the way he is, but he's also gained many. -ADD AND REVISE-

Personality: Being a lady is this pallio's top priority, so being as strong and ladylike are two of her strongest traits. Along with that, she is harshly truthful which makes her seem rude but this isn't exactly what she goes for. Whitney has little to no friends which makes others think odly of her. Finally, she often sits down for a cup of coffee being as chill as a duck on a lake. These are some of Whitney's personality traits.
