Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a
unique breed of pythons that
have paint seeping from their
tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly
smaller than their close cousins,
ball pythons, females being around
2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long.
Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at
only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent,
and PTP are no exception. PTP tend
to be quite shy when first introduced
to their owners, but will warm up quickly
and soon become inseparable. PTP have
exceptionally long lifespans, and have
been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

How do they feel about being blind?:
Splat likes being blind, but at the same time is depressed that he can't see anything. He likes being blind because he feels like it makes him unique. He dislikes it because he'd love to see the world one day.

He really doesn't mind being blind. If anything, he loves it! There is no ugly or pretty, so everything is equal (hence his name) to him. He doesn't judge on looks, but on personality. He feels that if he regained his sight, he wouldn't be has kind or accepting or understanding as he is. He dosn't want to see suffering, or starvation.

thoughts on being blind: most would think they're fine with it - "you were born blind, you're bound to be used to it!" "can't you just use your other senses?" - but honestly, not being able to see angers them quite a bit. everyone's always saying things about how beautiful things are, going on about how pretty their lover is, and kas - they want to see that too. they want to see the glorious mountains and waterfalls, see what they actually look like - "am i beautiful?". and even though people say "there's so much tragedy in the world - i doubt you want to see that", they want to see the tragedy, because they feel like they could do something to help. they often puts themself down for it, saying they're useless without their sense of sight. but no one seems to understand.

How do they feel about being blind?: Ian doesn't know any different. Being blind is simply a fact of life. It has never dampened his spirit or energy, though it has caused him to have often misjudged what he can or cannot do. This factor of his blindness has caused Ian to have little confidence in himself, however, he would never back down from a challenge presented to him.
Extra: Ian's biggest dream in life is to fall in love. He wants to fall in love with another person who loves him for his heart and personality, not someone who pities him. Ian wants nothing more than to have a family and be seen as a normal loving father, not the poor blind loner.

How do they feel about being blind?: For a long time, Nadia was angry with her blindness. She hated being treated like a child and like she couldn't do anything. She despised the fact that she would never see the world. Then something changed. It was a cold and rainy day. Nadia was being led to a funeral. Nadia couldn't see, but she could hear clearly the sounds of weeping. She came to peace with her blindness, realizing that while she would never see Earth's beauty, she would never, ever have to see the cruelty and ugliness of the world. While her blindness still frustrates her sometimes, Nadia has decided it is better this way.
How did Nadia become blind?: It was a winter day. Nadia was a small snakeling, young and unsuspecting. She was slithering along. Being rather vunerable and alone, she was prone to attacks. A sly coyote came along today, large and bulky. It was ready for an appetizer. Nadia tried to get away, but the coyote snatched her up and shook her about. She managed to sink her fangs deep into the canine's paw and was released. The coyote attempted to attack further, but its only good hit was when it put a paw over Nadia's head and sunk in its claws. Nadia felt dizzy and her eyesight went dark, and then there was bright, ravaging pain. With a last, random strike at the coyote, Nadia slithered away blindly. Her eyes could not be saved, but did however heal over with a milky blue-white color.

How do they feel about being blind?: Yilai doesn't usually mind it, for him, it's just another fact of life. The only time when he gets irritated however, is when a careless person is handling him. He is very sensitive and has issues navigating, so people who do not support him adequately make Yilai frustrated. Otherwise, he is indifferent to his inability to see.
Favorite place to sleep?: Yilai likes to curl up in the small gaps between computers and walls. It's cozy, warm and he feels safer there. He also likes to doze on human's laps.

How do they feel about being blind?:
He uses it to his ability,meaning he uses it the best he can-Like... maybe since he can't see a bad image/art- he doesn't have to see it
xD jk. But he sees it as an ability, no different.
he also uses all his senses, so he relies on everything in his body. Whether it be his sense of hearing, and taste, he uses it.Like all (or most ) snakes/PTP he uses his tongue to taste, and hear scents, and the air.
Personality
Slyther is a real layed back- kind-of-guy.He studies things a lot, and tries to understand/interpret things.Like objects ex. A lightbulb, he studies it - not with his eyes, but with his tongue, like a lot of PTP's, but he has to use it more often , since he can't see either.
Why blue for paint color?
One reason is that blue is the easiest color that he can feel- when he closes his eyes, he sees blue, but the paint color can change to a dark shade, and light shades of blue, depending on mood.Another reason is that he loves the color, and so people can know where he has been, "and it matches his eye color" he says. Its just kinda cute, and vibrant with the red, so it pops too.
