It's summer here, and plenty of these birds are around.

I almost got too attached to this girl to put her up, but I have decided I wouldn't be selfish.
(I'm sitting in the AC at the moment, and the coldness has frozen my hands and it feels so weird to type, just random fact of the day)

You're walking along, when this cutie comes out of the woods, running like the wind. "Ah!" you exclaim, "Now there's a Ciotach who's at home in her wings!" She promptly trips over and begins to flail helplessly on the ground. (You then declare loudly that you were using a metaphor, in case anyone overheard). How cute!

These creatures are stuck between a stage of adolescence and adulthood. They are young, as far anyone knows, forever.
~These creatures CANNOT fly, unless they are of a very very very old age
~They are almost always happy, that is one of their only emotions, they do not know depression or the feeling of unhapiness. All they know is happiness and joy.
~ They are very clumsy, often tripping over their own hooves, wings, and even their legs.
~ They ADORE fruit, it is the favorite thing in the world.
~ Even though they are unable to do so for long periods of time, they love running and prancing, but their long dragging -useless- wings often get in the way. But this often creates more fun for them, as it becomes a game to see who can go the longest without falling.
~ They love nursery rhymes and singing- but they obviously have individual hobbies and likes.

name: cockatiel [nicknamed tiel but pronounced as teal]
gender: female
hobbies?: she enjoys gardening even though she isn't too good at it.
favourite plant: the white gardenia. [it is a plant]
why: she has known them since she was a bit younger and ran into them once again a couple months back. she was prancing around but. as usual for cockatiel. she tripped over her wings and after a few moments of trying to get to her feet. when she stood up and looked directly ahead she spotted a white gardenia bush. unusually large for the type of plant a gentle light shimmering on the dark green leaves and the white flowers and buds. along with the area around it due to the sun shining through the trees. cockatiel felt like she had seen it before but couldn't remember. which had made her approach it slowly and take an unsure sniff. a delightful and familiar fragrance quickly filling her nostrils. blinking a few times when a monarch butterfly fluttered down to one of the flowers and landed on it. she gently approached it and smiled brightly at the flower and the black and yellow butterfly and pranced around the bush. almost tripping once or twice..as usual.

hobbies?: Aside from watching Venus fly traps? She likes to study plants in general. How they behave and grow, what sorts of properties each possess. Millie has been known to dabble with plants for various medicinal purposes. While she does study plants closely and conduct her own little experiments, she does not often physically plant the specimen herself. Rather, she prefers to examine plants that have begun life on their own unless the circumstances of her studies otherwise calls for a more controlled start.
favourite plant: Venus fly trap
why: The way they capture their prey fascinates her. The fact that they are plants and yet capable of catching food as they do just blows her away. Whenever she comes across Venus fly traps, she never fails to become entranced and utterly distracted.
