So! As Bow did indeed state, the little girl here is going up for adoption!

Neither Bow nor myself are fond of putting any restrictions onto the contest itself. So, essentially, the contest type could be considered an "impress-us". Though there are indeed a few things to note about with the family and it won't be only Bow and myself judging as for we have two guest judges. Family notes are below the form.

Family notes

1] The family's name is Myrd.
2] Since the first litter, there has been a pattern with the children's name. Souda, Mondo, Aoi, and Chihiro's name all come from an anime known as Dangan Ronpa. Though it is not required to follow in suit, doing so will earn major brownie points.
3] Neither Bow nor myself are quite so active on the JBDFC or its chat. It is highly unlikely that you'll see either of there in the first place. So, in return, we are mostly on skype. So, we hope you are alright with giving us your skype name in order to keep in touch and for any roleplaying.
4] The Family Tree. Neither Bird nor Myles has any siblings nor cousins so it is pretty tight-knit. The personalities of the family members will be below.
5] Sometimes the Myrd family will gather for a family game night. Once upon midnight dreary, the group came across a game called Team Fortress 2. Having picked their classes, they fell in love with the game, and now each represent their classes fully. We wish to know what class this girl would be out of the remaining three; Soldier, Spy, and Demoman- and why she would be that class. Though this not required, we thought it would be // brownie points

Father;; Humming Bird | | Owned by;; a_bowtie

Mister Humming Bird, or Bird as he prefers is very much a chill guy. He enjoys vacation time- the more the better -and can often be found relaxing and procrastinating instead of doing his work. Being the original green bean that he is, he is proud of all of his children, and loves them all equally, though he does connect better with Chihiro. Bird would rather not have all of them look like him, but c'est la vie. Despite this, he is much of a the-glass-is-always-full-that-was-never-even-half-empty kind of guy. The best is always what he expects, perfection is somehow a must, and he can get a tad bent out of shape about something if it's not perfect. He's willing to give anything a try, but if it's not perfectly ready yet, he decides to procrastinate until it is just right. He loves the outdoors, and is often trying to get his family out of the house whenever possible because he loves them and want them all to be happy and together. Bird will get a little down when his children and husband push him away, mostly because he doesn't understand the concept of personal space. This green bean will act like a big touch guy to safe his family, but he's too much of a big soft marshmallow to really do anything. If anything, he's a damsel in distress and Myles is his knight in shining armor.

Not so much of a Knight in shining armor, Myles is much more of that dorky sidekick that is never heard from again. When describing Myles, the first word that comes to mind, is that he is a dork. Like the attractive type who still lives in their mother's basement. But lacking a mother’s basement. And in his own place half way across the world from where is mother is. If given the choice, Myles would stay as far away from society as possible, only to communicate with his boss, his beloved Bird and his adorable family. He is very much so antisocial, though tends to act motherly when it comes to his children, dotting on them over everything. Though, along with being a dork, Myles is very much of a nerd to his own culture, an otaku to say. He obsesses with anything that comes from his homeland and still very cares about it. When Myles truly cares for someone, he will become defensive of them, protecting them as if he was their big brother, as for he doesn't like seeing his loved ones hurt in any way. Along with caring from them, his stutter becomes more apparent as for he would fear losing them. Though on one subject, he can easily hurt. The matter of his tail and how it does not function, he blames himself for the problems it has given Mondo, and he will blame himself even more so if his youngest daughter show signs of it as well.

Brother;; Souda | | Owned by;; Soda (funny ain’t that)

The ever confident engineer, Souda loves to tinker and fix and poke and pry at just about anything he can get his paws on- literally or figuratively. While it's never a good idea to leave any sort of electronic alone with him ["I swear I thought I could make the tv work in 3D, how was I suppose to know rewiring it like that would make it shoot plasma beams instead?!"], leaving a downhearted soul in his wake is equally as horrible an idea. Relationship troubles? Covered. [The poor couple was brought together more out of fear of him than love for one another]. Pessimistic thoughts? Easypeasy. [The bean still mutters under his breath about 'that green demon' and twitches occasionally]. Stressed out? No problem! [Apparently burning all your possessions was not the way to free yourself from your life troubles, but to be fair anyone could make that mistake.] All in all, he's Mr. Fix-it no matter your problem, and if you tell him no.. it's never a good idea to tell him no. Just keep talking and changing the subject till he gets distracted and forgets what you were talking about in the first place.

Brother;; Mondo | | Owned by;; Soda

The little genius, Mondo takes after his father, Myles, in a lot of nerdy ways. Undeniably introverted, he prefers very small groups or being completely solitary most days, tucked away from the insanity that is his family. A realist by no small standard, his attitude tends to take on a slightly pessimistic slant, especially when he's annoyed- which is usually when he's forced to socialize with anyone he doesn't consider a friend or worth his time. Snarky as all get up. Sarcasm seems to be the only way he can deal with social interactions, a sort of nervous habit really, mainly used to hide a large handful of insecurities. It's a shame really, if he weren't so down on himself, he might be able to show off his quick mind a bit more often- then again, that's what you get when you spend more time with books and on the internet than you do talking to other beans.

Sister;; Aoi | | Owned by;; Sheer

Though Aoi is an "adult" of sorts, she is still very child-like at heart. Her incredible light spirit and kind-hearted ways can sometimes be overwhelming, but she loves nothing more than to make those around her as happy as she always is. It's extremely rare to catch Aoi without a smile on her face. If that ever happens then something is more than likely very wrong because anything other than happy isn't an emotion she expresses often.

Family has always been very important to her - she adores her fathers, her three brothers, and now the newest little girl. She would very willing go to any lengths to protect each and every one of them, or even just to cheer them up. Even though Souda and Mondo are older than Aoi she still feels the need to guard over them. Granted she's probably the farthest thing from intimidating...but she still tries.

While being treated like a princess her whole life, Aoi has never really felt that she was better than anyone. She really just feels like she's very lucky and tries to enjoy her life to the fullest. This mostly entails eating doughnuts and swimming, her two greatest passions. She would probably love you forever if you offered her either of the two. Overall she's just a happy young-hearted swimmer dork princess that loves her some doughnuts.

Brother;; Chihiro | | Owned by;; a_bowtie

Chihiro is quite a little shy soul. He's not one to speak up for himself, and this often leads to him being called a pushover- which he very much is. He is closest with his father, Bird, mainly because of the fact that he doesn't ask much of him but to just do his best. Young Hiro very much enjoys the simpler things, and often hangs out alone, doing whatever he can to avoid his older siblings. He knows they mean well, but the slight age difference means he gets left out a lot. He'll try his hardest to be the best big brother he can for the newest member of the family, but he can make no promises- what with him being a pessimist. Sometimes he likes to play dress up, and imagines being a fashion designer when he's older even though he is ridiculed a lot about it.

Hello! I'm Cupcake Frosting, though I usually don't
capitalize my username. I'm a current non-owner of Beans, but I do own some species that are 'compatible' with them- three Kiamaras and a MicroKiamara. I also own one Plumerian. When I first saw Ciara, I didn't really think about adopting her or anything. But I looked a little deeper into her design, and I realized how beautiful she is. I hope I can win her as my first (or second, if I win Cheng) JBD. Thank you.

You've seen what he's done to our colleagues!
And worst of all, He could be any one of us.

Aah, the spy. The sneakiest of all of them. And yet, Ciara isn't sneaky at all. But she does share some of his traits. Worried, mysterious, and and quirky are all examples. First, worried. Ciara is always looking ahead. She's worried she won't get that cookie Humming Bird said that she could maybe have. She's worried Aoi won't want to play with her today. She's worried that she won't be able to play dress up later. Of course, since she's so young none of her worries are very serious, but she still does it. Moving on, mysterious. Her... lets say, mysteriosity, is one of her most pronounced traits. Sometimes, if another Bean, lets say Mondo, asks her a question, she'll just blink and say, "that is for me to know, and you to find out. Later." Now, she usually just does this when she doesn't know, but she'll also do this when she doesn't want somebody to know something. Like... where she put the cookies. Last but not least, quirky. Have you noticed how different the spy is from the others? I mean, the Pyro is also completely different, sure, but the Spy is different, just like Ciara. Ciara is so quirky, some people wonder where she gets her ideas. But she's not quirky in a bad way. She's quirky in a good way, doing things a seven-year-old would never think of. Once she made a piece a lot like this one without any inspiration. I think thats all we have for her personality and class. Thanks for reading!

Ciara and Humming Bird. They might be most daughter-and-fatherly team ever. Ciara loves to play with her
dad and watch over his shoulder while he works. She also loves to ride him around the house, as many very
young children do. She likes to go outside with him and play around in the yard, too.


Now, Ciara doesn't have as 'close' of a relationship with Myles as he does Humming Bird, but she still loves him
a lot. Sometimes Ciara tries to cook with him, if you could call what she makes cooking. She likes to cuddle with
him a lot, too. She acts like a little princess near him more times than not, trying to be really cutesy and sweet.


Ciara and Souda are good, great friends. Not best friends, not enemies, just great friends. Souda can be a
little worried near her sometimes because of her princess-y manner and mysterious personality, but it usually
works out. They can have squabbles sometimes because Ciara says 'no' a lot and tries to trick her family into
giving her cookies, but it all works out in the end.


Mondo and Ciara know eachother pretty well and like to be around eachother, but they tend to have fights.
Ciara doesn't like his sarcasm (which he uses a lot near her even though she's family, probably because she's
only four and he doesn't know how to act around her) and also uses hers- which is kind of bad sarcasm- near
him, which kind of starts fights. Like her and Souda, though, it's always resolved.


Ciara and Aoi probably have the deepest relationship between her and her brothers, because of her playful
attitude. Ciara likes to make up imaginary worlds and play with her in them, usually in which Ciara is a
princess. When they aren't playing, Aoi and Ciara are having conversations that are actually pretty deep for
a four-year-old's talk. Overall, Aoi and Ciara are best friends forever, or as Ciara says, BFFS.


Ciara loves to test out Chihiro's clothing designs. She also loves to talk to him and tries to keep everything
as optimistic as possible.She also has deep conversations, maybe even deeper as hers with Aoi as she's
not feeling as playful when talking to him. She loves to play dress-up with him, too, and she likes to think
of herself as his best buddy.

Little Explorer ;; A Short Story

Oh, sorry, dad.

I'm going exploring anyway. I don't want to go to the park, much less... do the worst thing in the world.
Take a bath.

Oh, how much fun Ciara had had choosing her 'explorer' fashions. She was grinning all the way out the door, and when she looked at the forest ahead of her, her eyes gleamed. She jumped over the mud puddles, careful not to harm her fashionable water-and-mud-proof boots. By the time she was at the first tree, though, she was already soaked to the skin.

Ciara flicked her tail and took a step inside, looking back at the house. Bath averted. She looked up at the trees and saw a few birds, and made a small, "chirp," noise. She kept walking, but eventually tripped on a root. "Ow!" She squealed. Ciara stood up, pulled up her pant leg, and rubbed her knee, which had been scratched. She pulled down the pant leg and kept walking, with a really slight limp.

A small robin nest was above Ciara when she stopped to rest. She leaned against a tree. She could still see her house in the distance, but with her size, and green colors, she knew nobody would see her there. Ciara bent over and grabbed a small bunch of raspberries. Her forest had a lot of raspberry bushes and she knew they were delicious. Ciara stuffed a few into her mouth and smiled, savoring the sweet flavor. She waited a minute or so, eating more, before standing up.

She walked farther into the woodlands. And then, the wetlands. Ciara grinned and ran through them, her shoes almost filling with mud. She broke down laughing. She kept running until she reached the end of the wetlands. The city was in front of her. She giggled and ran around a little bit more until mud was crusted around her face, paws and legs. She scratched some of it off but in the end she was still covered in mud, leaves and berry juice. Honestly, she hated it a lot.

If I don't take a bath now, Ciara thought, sighing, I'll be dirty for the rest of the day. She trudged back out of the muddy forested area near the wetlands and ran all the way home, jumping in the already-prepared bathtub. Later, Myles found her in the house, nice and clean.
