Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a
unique breed of pythons that
have paint seeping from their
tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly
smaller than their close cousins,
ball pythons, females being around
2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long.
Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at
only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent,
and PTP are no exception. PTP tend
to be quite shy when first introduced
to their owners, but will warm up quickly
and soon become inseparable. PTP have
exceptionally long lifespans, and have
been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

Despite what many people think, Bles is, in fact, a female. Bles loves fire and everything about it but she does, surprisingly also like water a bit. She realizes that without water that fire could get out of control.

Catrina is usually a very calm and gentle Paint Tailed Python, preferring to just nap whenever she can. Whether she's sleeping under a heat lamp or cuddling with anyone willing to snuggle a snake, Catrina is guaranteed to be happy as long as she's warm and relaxed!

When it comes to other creatures, Catrina is a bit of an oddball. She enjoys human companionship the most but is rather wary of other animals, even PTPs. Getting her comfortable around other pythons is quite the chore, but those who manage the task find themselves a kind and snuggly lifelong friend!

Despite her generally lazy attitude, whenever she's awake Catrina in an unstoppable curiosity machine! She loves poking around, especially where she doesn't belong. If something looks interesting she'll be slithering off at top speed before you'll even notice she's moved. This tends to land her lots of trouble, making messes or getting herself stuck. These excursions never last very long, but they're almost always tiring for everyone involved!

Whenever she's earned herself a treat (or has snuck onto the counter) her favorite snack is sugar cubes! Ones in interesting shapes are always more fun than boring old squares, but she'll happily accept any she can get her scales on. Sour or bland treats tend to be ignored by the fussy girl, as she'd rather have nothing than something icky.



Catrina is living the high life in a massive 55 gallon tank. Filled to the brim with colorful decor, it can be surprisingly easy to lose track of the bright orange python no matter how close you're watching!

Many different textures are represented in her tank, giving Catrina all the variety her little heart could wish for. Scraps of different types of fabric, a variety of rocks, a whole hoard of leaves, dozens of bits of driftwood, and a seemingly endless supply of bright flowers share her home.
