The overwhelming heat of fire has always plagued you. You know that it sounds ridiculous, but you are in love with fire. Sometimes, the unrequited love feels like a python, wrapping around you and squeezing every inkling of life away. To console yourself, you take out a matchbox and a candle carefully. You strike the match,

awe in your eyes, bringing the spark to kiss the silver candle before you. The flame flickers like the golden tongue of a serpent, poised to strike at any given moment. The fragile amber star lets out even the tiniest sliver of heat, and you drink the warmth in greedily, not allowing the heat go to waste. You know it's irrational, you really do, but your one wish for the world is for fire to be cold, to be touchable. Because who deserves to have a love who you can only touch in your dreams, to become infatuated with something that isn't yours when you wake? Who deserves to watch their passion flicker from afar, because to you, it sounds more like torture. The candle goes out, and your heart sinks a little, the darkness a lonely solitude, where your love will burn no more.

Orion is a superstitious young man, obsessed with astrology to almost an unhealthy point. He has a strange love for fire, his greatest wish being the ability to touch it. He is curious in the greatest sense of the word, always searching for more information about the stars. However, because of this he is very gullible, he will take your word for any fact, no matter how ridiculous.

He is an wise young man, a true old soul, though feeble hearted. He has been called naive, which can definitely be said about the boy who fell in love with fire. Despite this, he is fiercely loyal, sticking up for what he believes in with an intensity that can be compared to only fire.

Orion's strange fascination with astrology stems from his curious nature, needing to know everything about everyone. Being the gullible young man he is, the most reliable way to predict someone's personality is their astrological sign. Immediately, he asks someone their birthday upon meeting them, and then spouts information about them based on this, true or not. Another strange quirk of his is to carry around a small coin, emblazoned with a ram, the sign of his zodiac, everywhere he goes. He believes it brings him good luck, and he is too superstitious to leave home without it, in fear that something bad will happen, though it never has. He just can't bring himself to risk it.

People are automatically put into groups without their consent or approval, they just are. Everyone else's opinions are thrown onto you at random. the more opinions, the heavier it gets, and with all this extra weight on your back, you're bound to fall sometime.
And once you fall, there's no getting back up.

Meet Obsidian, the gal against stereotypes. She's constantly put into a stereotype herself, either that she's a lesbian, dumb, weak, it's all the same. Stereotypes are the reason she's breaking down, but she was lucky enough to realize what was happening and began to fought back. It's working for the most part, but more people just seem to jump to conclusions, it aggravates the hell out of her. There was no possible way she was going to let this slip by and only take her anger out at home, she needed to tell the world her thoughts. She needed to find her voice.

She's an all out tomboy, and not afraid to show it. She's not afraid to show who she really is to the world. Speaking of fears, she claims to be not afraid of anything, but in reality, she's afraid of bullying and stereotypes. She's extremely scared because she knows what they can do to you, break you down bit by bit until there's nothing left. It scares her to a point of neglecting basic necessities just at the thought of bullies or stereotypes. Although she may put on a brave face for the crowd, behind the scenes she's a true scaredy-cat. This is probably the most important thing to know when getting to know her, for she can be more sensitive than meets the eye.

Obsidian is a skater punk at best. She also seems to have a knack for spray painting, often vandalizing billboards or walls to spread the word about stereotypes while remaining anonymous. She has been in jail a few times for vandalizing, but nothing's gonna stop her. It's her fears that drive her, not her freewill.
