most. MB will do.

Female, though gender isn't necessarily indicative of
sexuality. MB is pansexual, and only attracted to the
personality of others, regardless of looks or gender.

Aloof and reserved, Mango Berry is a loner through and through, yet not entirely by choice. Most Kias avoid her for the stories- MB is so slender, and her eyes such a startling contrast to her body that, save for the red streaks in her hair, she has been compared to a spectre or ghost; the white swirls around her horns and her mysterious pale feathers add to the effect. With the eerie rumors surrounding her, and her history swathed in mist, it's no wonder that she leads such an odd style of living. MB prefers not to be around others, unlike the typical social personality of most Kiamaras, and she doesn't communicate much, using motions and gestures rather than words to convey her meaning. Disuse has actually caused her voice to be quite raspy, and when she speaks, Mango Berry's voice is scarcely more than a high-pitched whisper, not that she speaks much at all.

Despite her calm and tranquil outer appearance, Mango Berry's halcyon shell is easily shattered when she returns to her past. Not even Desmond knew of her desolate background. It's not quite the characteristic "mother died, father died, everyone died or was abusive or drunk" story; that's simply too cliché to make an interesting story. In short, spare detail- as it will be explained in the backstory section- MB had an older sister who was almost killed in a horrific car accident. At the hospital, however, they found that there was no brain activity; 14-year-old Mango Berry had to make the decision to end her sister's life. Her mother, in agony, fell into a deep depression and eventually fell to suicide; her father tried to be there for her, to support them, but he had to take 2 jobs and eventually came to neglect MB, overworking his mind until he no longer cared about his daughter. Mango Berry moved in with her cousins, Snapple and Tone. They accepted her, but only cautiously; MB was "different", an "outsider", and her cousins barely tolerated her.
Mango Berry's largest regret is regretting. More often than not she can be found, sitting quietly or curled in a ball, returning to her past and wondering if anything could have been different. In general she's very reflective on life and always lost in the past, but her life has not exactly been great and so the fur on her cheeks and chest often displays thick, dark tearstains.

Further along, deeper down than her misery and the constant torment and anguish of her past, Mango Berry hides the emotion that is simultaneously the most useless and most powerful emotion of all- anger. During her life Mb has met many short-tempered Kias, and finds herself thankful to not be among them. In fact, she can hold her temper for a considerably long time before snapping, but when she does, it's utterly terrifying, beyond anything the mind can imagine. So great does her rage become, so much does it consume that she has only let it loose twice in her life; once when she escaped her cousins and let herself become livid at the unfairness of life- which she now fights with a vengeance- and once more, when she thought she could no longer bear to bottle up everything, every emotion inside of her. At one point, it all turned to anger.

Although her background is perhaps not as pleasant as most, Mango Berry has come to terms with her life. A calm and composed demeanor steals her features when she is not consumed by the memories of her past, restoring her matured soul to her slim, lean body. In no way is she willing to be ruled by anything, and MB is actually able to lock away her emotions, hide them away deep inside and seal them so tightly that they never emerge and cloud her judgement- she does not appreciate that and keeps a firm hold on her mind. MB has a silent air about her, perhaps not always tranquil but unbroken quiet; and due to her quiet calm and realism about the world she is never unfair and exhibits a strong sense of justice. As a rule, she is very tolerant and just; Mango Berry hates bias and views the world with fair and unbiased, if harsh, eyes. MB builds her life on structure, despite how often it collapses and her world simply falls apart. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is one pillar holding up her kingdom, and she is vaguely obsessed with reaching the top tier, or self-actualization- knowing your place in the world and accepting it, being at peace with who you are. Mango Berry's number-one fear is that she'll never reach it, and she'll have to settle for being at less than her full potential and power.

Mango Berry is not very close to her family due to her need for self-actualization. While she is well-learned on their personality, mates, and such, she isn't close to them and feels in fact quite detached from them.

- With Desmond

Mango Berry really has no hard feelings towards Desmond; or really any feelings at all but respect and a distant kinship. Their divorce was completely of their agreement; she holds no grudge against him. There was no arguing or fighting as they split ways, because MB found that she no longer wished to be married as she had lost sight of the objective, and Desmond agreed. She still looks in on him and sees him as a good friend, and values him and their two precious girls. They were a part of her, in her life, for a long and pleasant time, but life went on and they were only one stage of her vastly short lifetime on earth. MB found that Desmond would keep his own small place in her heart, but she moved on. Now, while she isn't exactly on the market for love, she has moved on and is ready to accept that, in time, she might find someone who may mean as much to her as Desmond did, or maybe she won't. Either way, she is prepared for the next chapter in her life, and Desmond is okay with her moving on.

- With Kaia and Rosaline
Ah, Mango Berry's lovely children. She feels somewhat of a closer bond to them than Desmond- less friendly and more deeply bonded, as a family. Whether it comes from their pelt similarities or that they're all adult females, or perhaps just the bond of mother and daughter, MB still feels vaguely connected to her children. Desmond was such a brief moment in her life- in love, married, with children, divorced. Separated, just like that. But MB still observed her children, still cared for them and kept a fiercely vigilant eye on them as her father never did. In a way, it's Mango Berry making up for her tragic childhood by keeping her two girls- so similar to her and her sister, but even closer- alive and within her sight always. She may be a bit of an overprotective mother, and her girls always strive for rebellion, but the three of them have always been able to laugh it off. The difference between her situation with Desmond is that her children are half-hers. It's her duty to care for them, and more importantly, she's the one who has been able to watch them grow up. Noticing every distinction, every crack and flaw in their personalities- who are we kidding? they're actually perfect- but in any case, Mango Berry has simply been with her children for longer, and she can't forget that.

quirks- - Mango Berry is not known for her communication skills, and in fact stutters quite often when she speaks to unfamiliar Kias.
- MB also tends to squint or narrow her eyes when she is confused, or close them entirely when she is analyzing or puzzling over something.
- Something more subconscious that MB does is lucid dreaming; it's entirely unintentional, but Mango Berry rarely sleeps and instead falls into sleep paralysis, dreaming at will. However, she is unaware of her control and instead dreams memories that she has subconsciously buried.
fears- Mango Berry has many fears; among them agoraphobia (fear of being in public) and the fear of regret and that she will never reach self-actualization.
heritage- Mango Berry is not all-American; in fact she is a fair amount German, but also Italian, enough that her voice carries both the lighter Italian tones and the gruff German pitch.
voice- Highly fluctuent and hoarse to the point of raspy- MB's voice isn't the prettiest thing about her. Due to disuse her voice creaks or rasps slightly, and her breath hitches if she speaks too fast. However, her tone itself is a quiet, high-pitched sound- little more than a hoarse, tinny whisper- and carries strains of her Italian and German descent.
birthday- While the year of her birth is unknown, Mango Berry was born on August 6.

career- Living alone and isolated from society makes it difficult to have a career per se; however MB finds oddly shaped or pretty polished river stones and fashions rings or necklaces for them with natural materials. She has adorned herself with a few; namely a river stone necklace and a peculiar star-shaped rock hung off of her tail with her mango berry charm.
age- MB's true age is unknown, unless Desmond or her cousins have been keeping track; however she is assumed to be around 45 years old (enough to have adult grandchildren but also still fairly young).
sexuality- Mango Berry is pansexual, indifferent to race, gender, age or anything else; only personality matters.
companions- No animal sticks around the too-slender and not-entirely-there form that is Mango Berry for very long, but over the years MB has had a few "visitors" including a fallow deer she shared her river with and a bobcat who always stayed just a hair's width away from being touched.

The sky was cloudy, but a golden beam of sunlight spliced through the thick gray layer, singling out one young Kia's coat and setting her vibrant spots aflame.

Mango Berry giggled. It was so unlike her to enjoy the sunlight, as hot weather always made her hair far too frizzy for her liking- not that the six-year-old ever bothered to comb it anyway- but it was a welcome relief from the chilly air that had hung like fog, heavy on her coat, for most of the morning. Cheerfully, she bounced the small red ball on the ground, and her older sister bounded after it. At nine, she seemed like a perfect role model to MB- sweet, generous, and determined to help others. While her coat was several shades lighter and rather green, like the deep emerald of their father's thick fur, they shared the brilliant gradient of warm-colored spots.

Her sister tossed the ball back, Mango Berry's chubby and quite childish paws barely wrapping around it. "Oof!" she grunted as she tumbled backwards, but the smile was still shining on her face. For a moment, the world seemed to glow brighter, the sunlight intensifying, tracking her dark thin coat. Even young as she was, she was extraordinarily skinny- her parents had repeatedly taken her to the doctor, but it was simply how she was built. Only her chest was the fluffy down reminiscent of her mother's fur.

Again launching the ball, MB let out a cry of dismay. The ball had gotten tangled in her hair, in the lovely thick bangs that not even her beautiful sister possessed, and yanked on the still-tender piercings where her two ear feathers were.

Tight. Twitching. An uncomfortable pull, whispering to her, foreseeing. It's not safe. A tightness in her ear, the pinching of two tiny holes where her mysterious pale feathers had been branded to her.

The ball had fallen into the street. Desperate to continue the game, Mango Berry flailed free of her hair's grasp and pelted towards the road. Never listening to the warning her feathers gave. Never aware of the pickup truck swinging around the curve.

Her sister's arms were around her moments before the truck hit, brakes screeching and terror in all five Kias' eyes.



Mango Berry let out a quiet whimper and hesitantly opened her eyes, expecting white walls and the scent of sterilizer. Instead, the familiar warmth of light red walls and the splash of leather in her nose greeted her.

Now she was wide awake. MB sat up quickly, breathing in the leather couch she was sat upon, relishing her mother's faint cinnamon aroma on the light blue blanket wrapped around her. For a moment she paused, then memory flooded over her, washing into the dark place where sleep had lain, drowning her in panic. A cry escaped her mouth. "Mama!"

Where was her sister? Her mother rushed over, not giving her the opportunity to wonder, wrapping the six-year-old in her embrace. "It's okay, shhhh, you're okay," she soothed, soft breath in her little dark ear. "You're okay. Your sister's okay too."

At last Mango Berry relaxed. Her sister would be okay, and so would she. A near-death experience with a car wouldn't frighten her- but then she remembered something else, mouth opening in a miserable O. "What about my ball?"

＂ｄａｒｌｉｎｇ， ｉ＇ｍ ａ ｎｉｇｈｔｍａｒｅ ｄｒｅｓｓｅｄ ｌｉｋｅ ａ ｄａｙｄｒｅ ａ ｍ.＂

Eight years later, fourteen-year-old Mango Berry found herself devastated, shocked by loss and grief. Her palace was crumbling, her structures so carefully built falling like snow around her. Trying so hard, for what? What was the point? What was her purpose?

The day was similar to the one eight years ago. Cloudy, overcast, but not dangerously so thanks to the bright beams of sunlight breaking through, promising light and warmth. Yet Mango Berry had never felt colder.

She'd gone to get marshmallows. Marshmallows, for it was the first chilly day of autumn and what better way to celebrate than s'mores? Chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, and peanut butter for her odd father. She rolled her eyes as she opened the front door. Her father was odd, but she loved him anyway.

"Be safe," he'd called. In reply: "I'll be back soon."

Hands at 9 and 3. Ignoring the old "10 and 2" rule; this was safer. Eyes, watching, looking, bright salmon eyes like her sister, like Mango Berry, staring at the road, the lights, keeping careful track. Irregardless that she'd been driving for two years; her father had drilled these into her.

It was unfortunate that she was looking up at the lights rather than down at the road when the pickup truck T-boned her at the intersection.



It was her father that picked up the phone, its incessant ringing continuing until at last he reached out and snatched it up. At first he seemed annoyed, but as he listened, his irritated mask dropped, fell away, then disappeared altogether. Stark shock and grief remained.

An eternity passed before any of them spoke. Mango Berry's eyes filled with tears, inexplicably, just looking at her father's deep emerald fur, his agony etched into him with stunning clarity. At last, at long last, he spoke the two words that tilted MB's world, that flipped her upside down and watched her crumble to ash. "She's gone."

Neither female, looking at him, questioned it. She. Mango Berry's sister, their daughter; their family of four, so tightly knit, now nothing.

Her sister wasn't dead, he explained stiffly. Not entirely. The horrific crash had killed the other driver, but the seventeen-year-old was...alive. Comatose, but alive. It was MB's mother who drove; a determined look on her face, as determined as her daughter had always been. The unspoken thought stretched between the three minds: There's still a chance. If she could just pull through...

But worse news awaited them at the hospital.

"There's- well, there's no brain activity. She's alive, but...it's not worth much, I'm afraid. She'll never wake up. Never recover, that is." The doctor pushed up his glasses, gray fur seeming slightly pale, though he didn't show any sign of worry or fear in voice or expression. If anything, he was oblivious to the family's pain. But there was nothing he could offer them. Comfort? There is no comfort to be taken in being told your daughter will never wake again. Mango Berry's mother let out a cry of grief, a wail so shattered that the doctor quietly excused himself so that they could "make their decision". But the Kia sitting beside her daughter was so agonized, so crazed with grief that she couldn't utter a single word for her desolate sobs. Her father was no better; gazing, staring dully at the ground in shock, clutching his mate's forearms as though trying to keep her from slipping away.

It was Mango Berry who had to make the decision, Mango Berry, the only calm one in the room, demeanor halcyon and composed. Shell-shocked as the rest of them, but logically grim, knowing what had to happen. In her mind, she knew.

It was Mango Berry who went to the doctor and informed him of their decision to take her sister off of life support.

＂ｙｏｕ ｍｉｇｈｔ ｔｈｉｎｋ ｉ＇ｍ ｂｕｌｌｅｔｐｒｏｏｆ ｂｕｔ ｉ＇ｍ ｎｏｔ-＂

One would be surprised at how short two years can be when one must endure so much loss.

At least Mango Berry had been able to cope. Although in constant agony of her decision, in relentless reminder of her guilt, her bloodcurdling secret- I am the one who killed my sister- she deserved credit for clinging to her sanity. Her mother still cried herself to sleep in unbearable grief, and her father had never really climbed out of the shock until that day, that night.

Nothing seemed different at first. It was, ironically enough, a dark and stormy night. Not so much thunder, lightning and the whole shebang, but sharp drums of rain that echoed off of the roof and a vicious wind that whipped at the trees outside, tore greedily at their branches. Her mother's misery-filled wails could hardly be heard over the storm, but they still wound torturously into Mango Berry's ears.

It was all her fault, and she couldn't help crying either.

Eventually her mother excused herself from the house, out into the rain where her tears could not be distinguished from the droplets clinging to her black cheek fur. Mango Berry nearly went after her, but her father's dull, dark stare stopped her cold.

Tight. Pinching. Uncomfortable prick in her ear. Go after her.

Mango Berry winced. Again, with the pain in her ear? It'd happened more frequently after that time when she was fourteen, the day her sister died. Independent now, though still bound with her horrific past, Mango Berry was sixteen, and yet the twinges from her odd pale feathers hadn't stopped. In fact she quite hated her feathers now- they always seemed to symbolize sadness and death.

Today was no different.

Late in the night, then later. Still her mother didn't return, nor had Mango Berry heard from her. Unease was starting to stir in her gut, but she constantly shoved it down, thinking as young ones often do that her mother was fine. That night, unfortunately, it was not the case. Around three in the morning, nine hours since her mother had left, she decided to go after her, defying her father. She would go after her mother and she would find her, too. Finding her way around the block was no problem- she was sixteen and had lived here her whole life. A pang of sadness hit her. So did my sister.

At last she reached the end, but she knew her mother had gone this way. Ahead of her stretched only the dark, ominous trees, the thick forest that had always blocked the neighborhood on one side, and had never been torn down, curiously enough. So, shoving down again her nervousness, Mango Berry plunged into the woods. The last thing she expected to find- naturally- was her mother's dead body.

An unearthly scream shook the trees that night, so high and full of agony and shock that the canopy roiled with fluttering birds, frantic to leave. It sounded worse than being murdered. It was only the sort of pain that comes from a heart which shatters.

For their her mother lay, a rope suspended from a birch tree- pale as MB's feathers- in a noose around her neck.

＂ｙｏｕ ｃａｎ＇ｔ ｒｅｗｒｉｔｅ ｔｈｅ ｐａｓｔ＂

The rest of Mango Berry's story doesn't get much better, and is shortened as you already know part of it, and to save time, of course. After her mother's...unfortunate death, her father snapped out of his shock that had lasted for three years. At last, he realized, his daughter needed him- his one remaining family member. Desperate to make up the lost time to her, he began to work two jobs, constantly at work, never at home with her as he'd wanted. So concerned with earning the money to keep them alive, he never noticed his too-thin daughter wasting away even further, becoming almost spectral in appearance; if not for her too-bright spots and streaks in her hair, she could have been a ghost, emptily wandering a broken and lonely house. It wasn't her father's fault, really, that she never ate; but she never had an appetite anymore. Her world was numb from too much pain, her heart broken and crookedly put back together. What was the point of something like eating?

It was a bright and sunny day, early in the morning and hot in the summer, when her cousins came to pick her up.

Mango Berry admitted that it was more than a bit odd to see her cousins, Snapple and Tone, in the driveway. A few years older than her, tall, strong, and not completely skin and bones as she was. Better than she was, she thought guiltily.

But when they said they were taking her, she couldn't have been more shocked. Just up and leave her father like that? They insisted; said it was all planned, that her father couldn't take care of her. MB was enraged at that. Her father cared for her fine! It wasn't his fault if she didn't ever feel like eating...but there was nothing she could do. It didn't matter that she had just turned eighteen, for indeed it was the hot summer time of August, and that she could make her own way now. She was going with her cousins now, and that was that.

They didn't like her, of course. They never liked her, barely tolerated her. Spat nasty words and worse when no one was looking. Life had been ruined when she'd come along, always hindering them, always stopping them. Her new "mother", her aunt, cared for her more than her real children, doting on her, praising her, always there to catch her when she fell. But Mango Berry hated it, the constant support.

MB left eventually, unable to stand life, unable to take being babied when her aunt was around and bullied when she wasn't. So fed up and so full of hate, at twenty-two, four years after arriving, she exploded. Yelled at them, spewed the fury she'd bottled up for four years, gave voice to her utter hatred. Then, when she was spent, she left. Mango Berry never looked back.

She had the attention she'd never had, and she didn't want it- and those who wanted it didn't have it.

What a vicious circle life is.

Seiner adult, old enough to have grandchildren but not too old to where she has wrinkles and grey hair.. I'd say around 30-40 years.

She is quite mature, but when around kids she acts younger and plays with them.
Thus she acts a little immature around children, but not enough to were she could get into fights with them, just to the point where she plays with them like she was that young herself.

Voice: Her voice is soft, sweet and very loving. It express's her love towards her family members and can sound harsh when protecting those she loves.

Personality: Mango Berry is a sweetheart, she loves children and often can be found playing with them. Her grandchildren are spoiled by her with sweets and random gifts. She loves them, and hair own children dearly and are proud of how they've grown. She is extremely motherly, and would adopt any orphan the first chance she got. Mango Berry is very loyal to her friends and family, and would protect them no matter what. She is cunning and swift of the mind, and when annoyed she can occasionally will come up with sarcastic comments, but tries not to make a habit of it. Now as much as I'd love for her to be perfect in every way, and for me she is, that wouldn't be realistic, thus she is quite stubborn when she sets her mind to something without a second thought, and is extremely hard-headed, there's no changing this kia's mind. Having said this, she is perfect to me with her faults and all.

Occupation: She is a Book Publisher/Author and on the side she is a Hair Stylist. She publish's other peoples books, that is if she likes them and thinks that they will sell, though she writes a bit of her own books, sometimes just for fun. Relationship with her children:
Mango Berry loves her children deeply and would do anything for them, she wants a close connection with them but sometimes that's not how it ends up. Mango Berry made sure to let Rosaline know she was there for her when she became a first time mother and helped her as much as she could, though made sure not to overstep her place. She tries to make her connection with her daughters stronger. She's often sad that they aren't children anymore, but she knows that she can spend time with her grandchildren so that keeps her sadness at bay.

Relationship with her grandchildren:
She loves and cares for her grandchildren, and strives to be that loving grandmother that always bakes sweets and makes lasting memories with her grandkids. She spends as much time as she can with them, though it might not be as often as she'd like, and just wants them to know that she loves them and would give anything to make them happy. They might not have the best relationship, sometimes they might make each other angry or upset, but they are family and she will always love them.

Relationship with her Cousin's:
She secretly admires her cousins and loves them though she doesn't see them often nor does she talk to them. She'll most likely only see them during Holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter.. etc. Around then she will give them gifts and be nice, see how they are doing and such, but after the Holidays are over it goes back to the non talkative relationship.

Relationship with her ex:
Mango Berry doesn't hate Desmond, nor does she love him anymore. When they first decided to break up Mango was secretly heartbroken, and was angry for quite awhile, thus ignoring Desmond even existed for at least a month. But she soon realized that anger wouldn't fix anything, and after a long time she ran into Desmond, but she was happier and wasn't bitter with him because she decided that though she had loved him once, she still could find love again.

Mango has always had a determination to her. If she finds something that interests her she will not stop until she feels she has succeeded or she has "won". For example if she feels strongly about learning something new, she wont stop until she feels as if she has learned enough about it.
Cocky:
She has a very cocky attitude to her, and it's been with her as long as she can remember. If she has anything to flaunt (example new things) she will. She can be a very big show off when it comes down to it, not being afraid to tell you she thinks she's better than you. Though most of the time her cockiness is just a show.
Caring:
After you get past all her cocky, bullheadedness she is actually really caring. She puts up a small emotional barrier to lead others into thinking she is one way but honestly she is almost opposite. She loves to care for others. If people have a problem, and they know her, she will always make herself available to help.
Maternal:
Even though she is no longer a mother of young kias, Mango has almost always had a maternal nature to her. She likes to help take care of others, if they can get past her cocky nature. All in all though, she has almost this natural urge to take care of anyone that is injured or ill.

Background
The Divorce:
Mango's Divorce was nothing dark or disparaging. She in fact kept a calmness to her that's surreal. Mango and her ex mate Desmond were together for a very long, yet short time. They raised two beautiful children together and they even have a few grand kids. Desmond and Mango split on mutual terms.
Like some relationships do, over time Mango and Desmond's flame sort of withered out. After their children had grown and left to start their own lives they discovered something, mate life is boring. It had been a long time coming but they decided to go their own ways but attempt to stay as best friends as possible for their children and their grandchildren.
The likely hood of Mango ever taking another mate is VERY slim to almost none. Mango is perfectly happy living the single life and trying to see if she can reconnect with her family, if they will let her back in.
Relationship with Desmond:
After the divorce their relationship has been actually surprisingly good. They feel they can be friends still even though they aren't together anymore. They don't really talk to each other anymore, but if and when they do it's never anything rude or hateful towards each other. Mango doesn't show any signs of ill will towards Desmond. They are more or less neutral over all but they can sit in a room together and have a few laughs.
Relationship with Kaia:
A very slight relationship. She and Mango sometimes hold small get togethers and will catch up on each others lives. Mango tries to keep a relationship with both her daughters even if it's not very close. Again they don't really see much of each other because she is grown and living her own life, but they sometimes talk.
Relationship with Rosaline:
Somewhat rocky. Ever since the split Rosaline has never really been happy with her mother. Rosaline is a grown woman just as her sister but they are two different kiamaras. Mango tries to keep up at least a small relationship with Rosaline, but it almost seems at times Rosaline with shut her out. So because of this Mango hasn't seen or talked to Rosaline in a very long time.
Relationship with Grandchildren:
When they were young she was almost always around when she was allowed to be. Now that they are older she has sadly no relationship with her and Desmond's grandchildren. This does sadden her a bit but she doesn't really ever show this. They acknowledge her as their grandmother but there is no relationship.
Relationship with Cousins
Really rocky. Her relationship with her cousins is really rocky in a way. It's been a really long time since they have talked because they were both so busy with their own lives and they've just let contact sort of disappear. There are times where they will see each other and say hello, ask about their lives, then continue on their own way.

Hello! I'm Ivyy. I own three Kiamaras and I'm fairly active around the fanclub. Mango Berry is one of my favorite Kiamaras (in fact, her whole direct family is!) and I really want to say thanks for giving me an opportunity to try out for her. Mango Berry is the kind of person others would say "walks to the beat of her own drum". She is an independent, free thinker who prefers to make her own choices. She does not like taking orders from authority and usually doesn't listen when someone tells her to do something. Rebellion is in her nature, so she finds herself in a lot of arguments. Those qualities also make her a great leader and MB isn't afraid to take charge if the situation requires it. She is good at multi-tasking and organizing, so when she works in a team the others typically look up to her. She really doesn't like to have too many obligations, so it's hard to make plans with Mango Berry. Her biggest pet peeve is the feeling of being tied down and because of that, she makes very few promises. Her desire for independence and unwillingness to commit to things is ultimately what ended her marriage. She feels more at ease if her plans or tasks are fluid and easily changeable.

Mango Berry is more on the extroverted side of the spectrum. She enjoys the company of others, as long as they are not clingy, and is always interested in talking to new people. She is good at chatting but long conversations will easily bore her. Rarely does she have deep, meaningful discussions, which leads to her suppressing her emotions. She doesn't confide in her friends very often, but that doesn't mean that she has trust issues. She feels uncomfortable talking about her own emotions and would much rather listen to someone else's than explain her own. She can grow easily irritated if someone is bothering her, and might snap a rude comment or two out. She never really says anything mean or insults anyone, but when she's annoyed it's easy to tell from her tone of voice.

A conversation with Mango Berry can be interesting. She has an unusual sense of humor and some of the things she says can be seen as offensive. She has a tendency to make inappropriate or crude comments, and some people find her attitude distasteful. MB is sarcastic and humorous as she talks, and more often than not has her peers laughing. She is sassy and comes up with a lot of quick replies, but sometimes she doesn't understand why what she says might be offensive. If she really says something wrong that hurts someone else's feelings, she will apologize and tone it down. Mango Berry was also very flirtatious in her younger age, but now that she is older, she doesn't really bother and is mostly straightforward. She things it's fun to flirt and will occasionally do it to someone she is interested in.

Mango Berry is a strong woman with goals and dreams that she has every intention of making real. She is determined when it comes to her career, and works hard to get what she wants. Many others have told her that they admire her ambition, which only makes her persevere more. She does the best that she can and puts all of her effort into something that she really wants. She either goes after something hard, or doesn't at all. There is no middle ground- she either wants something or she doesn't. She only puts her time and dedication into something she thinks will be worth it.

History;
Mango Berry was born in Northern California on January 27th (under the star sign Aquarius). Her birth name was Mirabelle, but because she absolutely despised the name, she was nicknamed MB. Eventually that name sparked into something else- Mango Berry, and it stuck with her forever. She was raised by her two parents in a small, quiet town where everyone knew each other. As a young child, she had many friends and spent most of her days outside playing in the front yard. She would play with boys and girls alike, hopping between widely different games like "jungle explorers" and "princess party", and so on and so forth. She never really left her town except to visit family on the holidays, but she always had a strong desire to see what else was out there. Nonetheless, her childhood was filled with adventure and learning, just like any other.

Once Mango Berry hit her early teens, she found herself getting into loads of trouble. She had grown restless and was tired of the same town; she wanted change. To satisfy her ever increasing boredom, MB would sneak out of the house, pull dangerous pranks, and skip school. Her parents were outraged and no matter what they did, their daughter would not stop her wild behavior. While she was still respectful to her parents, she didn't always obey them and had many nights where she was grounded in her room. Eventually, her mother decided that it was the town that was influencing Mango Berry in such a bad way, so the family packed up and moved. They settled in Washington, since MB's mother had family there.

After they moved, Mango Berry's attitude improved quite a bit. She accepted that she had acted improperly and was now too overwhelmed with school to cause as much trouble. She matured very quickly over the span of a year, and her parents were proud of the young lady their daughter was becoming. In truth, MB still found chaotic things to do and had plenty of good times, but she was much more skilled at keeping her parents from finding out. She started trying new things and hung out with a wide group of people, all in attempt to find herself. Overall, she did fairly well in school and survived her teenage years with the typical ups and downs of that portion of life.

Mango Berry was off to college shortly after she turned 19. She studied in Business and Law, hoping to become a lawyer. She was in school for an additional 7 years, and finally got the degrees she had hoped for at age 26. Around that time, she met Desmond. They had dated for a few years, and by the time MB was 28, she was a mother. She settled down with her family in a decent house, but once the divorce was finalized years later, she moved back to Northern California. She found a job and a house in San Francisco, and that is where she remains. She does a lot of traveling and spends about two months (in total, not consecutively) away from home per year. She has visited Japan, Italy, Rome, England, Australia, Canada, Peru, Jamaica, and various other states in the US.

Relationships;

-Desmond and the divorce

Mango Berry fell in love once in her life. The two of them met and hit it off right from the start. MB was head over heals with this boy. She was drunk on being in love and the time spent with him was some of the happiest of her life. Like anything, though, the burning flame between to two of them started to fade. Mango Berry found herself growing restless and the hard work of a marriage drove her crazy. She could not stand being tied down and after some long thought, she came to the conclusion that this life was not for her. She was unhappy now more than what was acceptable to her standards. She talked to Desmond and he was completely understanding. They eventually decided it would be best if they split, and so they did. By the time this happened, their children were almost full grown, so Mango Berry did not feel too bad about divorcing Desmond.

Mango Berry has absolutely no hard feelings towards her former mate. She considers him an important part of her life and she is absolutely glad that she met him. She feels like everything that happened together between them was an important lesson and she learned a lot from her experiences. Although the two of them don't talk any more, Mango Berry still considers Desmond a good friend. She does not know whether he feels the same.

-Her kids

Mango Berry has always had a soft spot for kids, and when she found herself with two bundles of joy, she knew her life would be changed. She was more of a relaxed parent when the girls were younger and never really had restrictions for her kids. Of course she had basic rules, but she gave her children freedom and trusted them not to do the wrong thing. She taught them the same way she was taught, and only punished them when it was absolutely necessary. MB tried her best with her daughters and although she sometimes she doubted herself, most of her friends insisted that she did good. She could have definitely been more involved, but overall everything turned out okay.

Once Kaia and Rosaline reached adulthood, Mango Berry found that she enjoyed her daughters' company more than she had when they were younger. She is always ready to talk to her girls and lets them know that if they ever need anything, she is there for them. She doesn't usually call them first because she doesn't want to seem overbearing and wants them to have their own life, but she tries to talk to them both at least once a month.

-Grandkids

When Mango Berry first found out that she would be a grandmother, she was horrified. The thought of grandkids made her feel like her youth was running out, and throughout Rosaline's pregnancy she tried to get over her disbelief. She got along with Max very well and while she supported her daughter, she had a hard time accepting that her baby would be a mother. As soon as the two girls were born, however, MB's heart melted. The twin granddaughters reminded her of her own children and her time as a mom, so MB immediately grew fond of them. She helped Rosaline whenever her daughter needed it, and had a great time with Carol and Skylla. Because they are adults now, MB doesn't talk to the two girls as much anymore. Just like her daughters, she tries to converse with them once a month, but that doesn't always work out so Mango Berry doesn't push it. She loves her grandkids very much and is always ready to support them.

-Cousins

When they were kids, Mango Berry and her cousins spent a lot of time together. Since they were all siblings, she felt a little excluded when they hung out, but it never really bothered her. Her relationship with each of them changed a bit as she got older and she lost contact with them for a while. She was there when each of them got married, and was overjoyed to hear whenever one of them announced a pregnancy. She doesn't really talk to her cousins anymore, save for a few times a year, but she still thinks about them on occasion. MB talks to her nieces and nephews even less than her cousins. Since a few of them had kids, Mango Berry finds it difficult to keep in touch with everyone and hope they know that she still loves them.

Story;
When she pulled up into the parking lot, the moving van was already there. Excitement built up in her chest and spread like fire until she couldn't take it anymore and turned sharply into the first parking spot she could find. Nineteen year old Mango Berry jumped out of her car and stopped beside it to admire her newest residence- a nice, but affordable, apartment joined together with many others in one big complex. MB's specific apartment was on the third floor and a set of unfortunately steep stairs lead to the hallway that connected the other buildings. Mango Berry took a big whiff of the air and felt a smirk spreading on her face. Here she would stay for the next few years, unless, of course, something forced her to move. But that thought aside, she was very eager to get her things settled and maybe make her self acquainted with her new neighbors.

She spent a few more seconds admiring the apartment, which was only so spectacular because it was all her own, and then headed up the stairs. Her feet landed on every other step and by the time she made it to the top she was out of breath. Her eyes scanned the hallway and she noted that there were five other doors besides her own. Six per floor, per complex. Mango Berry dug through her pockets for her keys and once she felt them, she grasped them tightly as if letting them fall would curse her upcoming solo living experience. She pressed the key into its designated slot and closed her eyes, smirk reappearing once more. She turned the key and the lock clicked.

As soon as the door was open, Mango Berry flung herself inside and pranced around for a few moments. Here she was, an adult, and renting her own apartment! She was so proud of herself and excited for things to come that she almost couldn't bear it. Her college was in walking distance and around the apartment were several small shopping centers that would surely hold anything Mango Berry could need. She sucked in another deep breath and stretched. This could really be good.. MB made her way to the balcony and slipped through the ajar sliding glass door. She leaned over the balcony and waved down to the moving van. Two of the workers were sitting outside the vehicle, waiting for Mango Berry's signal.

"Come on boys!" She called, swinging herself back over the ledge and inside again.

By the time nightfall came, Mango Berry's cheeks hurt from grinning.
