Username:The Wolfe
Name:Stark
Why Stark? As soon as I saw his arm, he reminded me of Iron Man :3
Gender:Stark is male
Extra:SexualityHe is bisexual, liking both males and females
PersonalityStark is...
- Courageous -
Definition: not deterred by danger or pain; braveStark has lots of courage and bravery inside his heart, even before he got his bionic arm. He's a fighter and will fight to the death to protect his loved ones and himself. In his mind, he's a soldier... a soldier of righteousness! If he sees a fight occurring, he will try to find out why there's a fight then he will fight with the side that is right. Same with protests and riots. He will even travel if he hears that there will be a fight or protest happening. He does get scared but even so, he will fight to the death to defend what is right!
- Free-thinking -
Definition: inclined to forms one's own opinions rather than depend upon authorityStark lives by his own beliefs and has lived alone since it was time to be free from his parents. He really enjoys living freely and by his own standards. He can do whatever he wants and has built many temporary homes across the land of the Rukami. Every day he feels as free as an eagle in the skies! He has his own thoughts and opinions and lives on his own terms and conditions, most of which are flexible anyway. He never lets anyone oppress him and will fight for freedom across the land.
- Dominant -
Definition: having power and influence over othersThis trait can be either good or bad, whichever way you look at it. Stark is dominant in battle and in relationships. In battle, he can influence others on his side by giving speeches and they listen to him. He is their temporary leader in battle and will help at any cost. And since his techno arm helps him have the power over other Rukami on his side. In relationships, his dominating and charming side can bring his wanted 'kami weak.
- Brutal -
Definition: savagely violentIn battle, it seems Stark goes into what he calls his Raging Bull Mode. When he's in this mode, there is no stopping him and he's oblivious to any pain inflicted on his body. It's like he's transformed from the peace-loving kami he normally is. He has surely killed bad and evil Rukami with his sharp claws and powerful left hand. When he's in his fighting mode, he can still tell who he's fighting with and who he's fighting against.
- Lazy -
Definition: unwilling to work or use energyWhen Stark isn't fighting, hunting or travelling, he can be found sleeping in one of his sloppily-made nests that he has made whilst travelling. He always uses a lot of energy when he fights for justice so he gets very tired after the fighting event. If it's a normal day, he sleeps for 10-12 hours but if there's something that's going to happen, he will sleep for 6-8 hours. Hunting is a little easier for him so he'll eat before and after sleeping. His motto is pretty simple: sleep, eat, fight, repeat.
The Story of his ArmA few years ago, he was living with his parents had his small-ish pack. He was a bit of a terror, always coming home with scratches and bruises on his body from fights. But he didn't get in fights for the sake of it, no, he fought for weaker Rukami who couldn't protect themselves. He did get grounded a few times, but he kept escaping to fight for good and eventually, his parents gave up. Back then, he still had both natural-born arms. As he grew the few warrior Rukamis in his pack saw potential in his fighting skills.
Anyway, he stayed in the pack...
Until roughly four years ago...
The brave male was initiated in the ranks as a warrior shortly before the incident. He had passed all the initiation tests and was going for his first official fight. His parents were proud of him but scared for his safety, like any other parents would.
He was called to gather with the others shortly after he heard that a rival pack was going to try and take over another pack's territory. He wanted to fight and headed out with the few other warriors. But before he left, he went to tell his parents.
"Mum, dad, I'm going to fight with the warriors in a few minutes" he told them.
"Oh Starky" his mother said worriedly and hugged him. "Stay safe, baby boy."
"I will mum" he replied as his hugged back.
"Good luck son, don't get yourself killed" his dad piped up. "You know how sensitive your mother is."
"I know, and I won't. I'll come home alive, I promise" Stark replied and hugged his dad. "Bye, I love you" he said before he left to leave with the others.
The warriors traveled for about a week until they arrived in friendly territory. Three young pups were playing nearby and as the group arrived, they looked up and scurried away back to their parents, telling them they had come to help. News spread through the friendly pack like wildfire and the warriors were welcomed with open arms. They were given filling meals and comfortable places to rest, ready for the fight the next day. Stark couldn't sleep much since adrenaline was already starting to pump itself through his veins. What he couldn't foretell was his future...
However, the next day came and Stark woke with the other warriors when yells of panic and fear were heard. "Move out!" his commander told them and they rushed from their place of sleep to join the friendly pack's army. More adrenaline sped through Stark's body and he was getting worked up, like the rest of the fights he'd been in. He soon heard howls of war and both sides charged at each other snarling.
Stark snarled and charged too and was very quickly battling. His self-chosen opponent was a female with markings on her body, painted onto her white fur in black and red swirls and dots. His vision changed and he lunged at her in his Raging Bull Mode. He knocked her back and clawed at her as she clawed at him. They fought one on one until he eventually killed her. The war went on for a few hours and the side that Stark was on was winning. When there was a few bad Rukami left, they ran away with really bad injuries.
There were injuries and fatalities on both sides. During the battle, a Rukami had taken a chunk of Stark's left arm and he hadn't noticed. As he calmed down, his vision returned to normal and he saw his dead comrades. His best friend was among the deceased. Tears showed in his eyes as he also felt incredible and agonising pain in his arm. It became too great and he passed out.
Hours passed and his eyes eventually fluttered open again. He still felt pain but it wasn't as strong as before. He groaned and tried to wake himself up. He tried moving his left arm to rub his face... but he felt no hand on his face. He tried a few more times then looked at why his left arm wasn't working. He saw his arm had been cut off and rounded before being sown back up again... and screamed before passing out for the second time.
As morning rolled around again, he woke up and thought he had a nightmare about his left arm. He looked at his arm, or what was left of it, and went pale. He felt funny, leaned over and was sick. A medical kami came over to him and offered him some fresh water which he took and drank. "I'm sorry Stark. Your arm was damaged badly and we couldn't do anything except cut it off. I really am sorry" she said and left feeling guilty. During the day, his surviving allies visited him and cheered him up, telling him that he's a hero.
A week later, the surviving warrior, along with Stark, arrived back at their own territory. A nearby pack member saw them and rushed back, telling them someone had survived and returned. The pack gathered in the main living space and waited. They crowded around the pair and congratulated them. Families of the dead cried and Stark felt guilty. When the crowd dispersed, he saw his mother and father standing a short distance away. He approached them with his head low, his ears back and his tail tucked.
"Hey mum, dad" he said, whimpering.
His mother looked at his lost arm and started crying and touched his face. "It's really you baby boy" she cried and hugged him. Stark smiled slightly and wrapped his right arm around her.
"I'm here mum, please don't cry" he said softly in her ear. "I lived. I kept my promise to return."
"I'd so proud of you son" his father smiled and hugged them both. "We both missed you."
"I missed you too" he replied.
The pack held a funeral for the fallen a few days later. Stark was excused but he went anyway.
Over the six months after the battle, Stark struggled with life. Pack members offered to help. He allowed them although he didn't want their help. He allowed them to help because they treated him as one of their two heroes. After six months a familiar figure appeared. It was a Rukami from the pack he fought for! And he was carrying a weird-shaped parcel wrapped in leaves and vines. A guard asked him what they were doing there. "I'm here to see Stark" he replied and was allowed in.
The guard led the kami through the living place and showed him where Stark lived. Stark was inside, trying to make a wooden arm. It was badly made, since he could only carve with his right hand. The Rukami cleared his throat and Stark looked at him. "Hey" Stark said. "What brings you here?"
The Rukami not from Stark's pack bowed in respect. "I bring you a gift. A gift that will help you fight again. It's come straight from the metalworks" he smiled and offered the gift. Stark raised an eyebrow and took it with caution. He placed it on his lap and untied the vines. The leaves fell away from each other to reveal an arm made of two strange materials; a new metal coloured yellow and a blue substance that wasn't quite solid but it wasn't quite liquid either. Stark's eyes lit up for the first time in months and he looked at the Rukami who was now stood up. "Go ahead. Try it on" he grinned. "Oh, and it's made of a completely new type of metal. We named it Starkonium."
Stark nodded and picked up the strange looking arm. He moved it so the gap was nearest his nub and put it on. Pain shot up and down his entire body as both metal and matter fused themselves to Stark. The pain only lasted for a minute and left as quickly as it came. He tested it out by wiggling his fingers and moving his wrist. He also picked a few things up and grinned when he saw it worked exactly like a normal hand... with a power.
"Thanks so much! How can I ever repay you?" he asked as he looked at the gifter.
"No need, Stark. You've already paid by helping us fend those invaders off" the gifter smiled. "Oh, it comes with a power too, but be careful when using the power."
"I will" Stark said, choking up with happiness. "I'll be careful, I promise.
And with that, the gifter left. Stark showed his family and they were overjoyed for him. He vowed to protect others and help good to fight evil. Days later, he left at midnight only to leave a short letter to his parents.
To Mum and Dad
I will forever be your son but I have decided to leave to help fend off the bad in the world. I promise to one day return home. I love you, but please don't worry about me. I feel stronger than ever and I know I'll survive to see you again one day.
Goodbye for now.
Love from Stark.Since that day, he's been living alone and trying to defeat the bad and defend the good.
About his Arm- His 'kami-made arm somehow fused itself to his nub.
- His arm is made of a newly discovered metal and something similar to plasma.
- Since it's a newly discovered metal and first used on Stark, it is dubbed Starkonium. The metal is strong and light.
- He can shoot plasma balls from his hand which is great for long distance attacks.
- There has to be at least a five-second wait before he can fire another plasma ball.
- The plasma balls he can shoot are pressured together so they're dense. They can knock enemies back and possibly stun them for a short while, depending on his own energy levels.
- His arm is fully functional and is controlled by his mind. He can use it just like he can use his right arm.
- His arm can't melt but it can freeze over. If his left arm is in extreme temperature, he feels no pain from that arm.
