My Ideas:
◆ Sark is only a "hunter" in the sense that he hunts after strange creatures. He does not actually hunt them down.
◆ Honestly, if he were to ever describe his work to another, he would describe himself as a "Creature Tracker" or "Abnormal Animal Observer"
◆ What Sark actually does is a job passed on to him from his mother's side of the family.
◆This job consists of tracking, following, observing, sampling, and recording on the rarest of creatures, those most believe to be myths, and protecting the secrets of their existence from others.
◆ This job was handed on to him only because he was the only heir as it is a job almost solely passed through the female line. The reason for this being that males are usually considered too aggressive for the position. The males in the family usually only take on protective roles in guarding the creatures and information, not in studying them.
◆ Due to being the only heir to the family line of work (which occurred because it is as dangerous a line of work as it is rewarding) Sark takes on both the male and female duties of the job.
◆ Sark works with just about everything from the few remaining unicorns to were-wolves, pheonixes to marsh spirits.
◆ Due to the nature of his work, Sark can be stand offish around others of his kind as he is always afraid of revealing the secrets of those creatures he protects.
