General Info
Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Story: One day when she was young, she was exploring the beautiful forest by herself. She heard a branch crack and a deer trotted by. She had never seen such a big buck like that. It looked as if he had fear in his eyes. She felt a gust of wind play with her mane. Then she thought she saw a glimpse of orange. A big cat of some sort. Father had told her about tigers that come and take away bad foals and colts in the night. She slowly walked backwards but bumped into a tree. The beast reappeared. It had something in its mouth. A beautiful tiger lily. The tiger slowly approached her and she stared into the tiger's beautiful and enchanting yellow eyes for what felt like eternity. The tiger dropped the tiger lily at her hooves and slowly walked off into the bushes. She never saw the tiger again. She kept the flower and told her friends the story, but no one believed her. She was sad that she never got to thank the kind tiger.
