You may call it his "imaginary friend", but it's more than imaginary. It's real. These creatures are spirits of dreams. They are guardians who watch over children at night, fighting nightmares and the children's fears so that they may sleep peacefully. In fact, these creatures feed off of it. If a child is scared of the dark, the Musoka will light up the night with it's dim lighted orbs and absorb in the scary darkness. These creatures are only seen by the children, and not their parents or other adults. That is why the adults may say: "Oh, she's just talking to her imaginary friend again". The Musoka will usually stay with one child until they grow up, then the creature will fade from sight from that person and will move on to another child.

Personality Angry and cruel, she despises most things and loathes the rest. She doesn't seem to have a soft spot or mercy anywhere in her, and enjoys the pain of others. She'd rather laugh from the shadows then try to help and often abandons those in need. She is selfish and greedy, often only looking out for herself and no one else.
What's up with that red powder? The red powder is her hatred, she is so full of it that it manifested itself into a physical form and now she can't get rid of it. The more she hates the more powder there is, and what better color for it to be then red?

The meaning is the dawn, bright red like the color of her eyes.

Reckless, all musokas are reckless but they gave way to her. She would go through the inner circle without caring for the rules, and even during her time on earth she cared for no rules. When faced with a nightmare, she would stare them down, or engage in a fight without fear of the shadows.

Why should she? She had her own shadows to control, to fight back.

However, she was loud mouthed. If there was any musoka where secrets couldn’t be trusted with, it’s her. She enjoyed blabbering, as if without sense of mind, and saw it fun to see other musokas sit in a tight position.

That said, she did not put effort into finding humiliating stories, but rather gives good advice, which is why some go to her anyway. Of course, if they fix their stories before she told it, they were saved. It was a little game she played.

She danced on the fear of others, which is why she has managed to survive in the inner circle, and out in the shadows. No one opposed her, for both her kinds were too weak against her powers. Of course...she has yet to meet another half-tainted.


I see a path, one displayed in red, the other in blue. The red shows my actions as a nightmare, the blue those of the musoka. I travel on the red line, to disobey all rules. The consequence, is this red powder which would not wash out. On all six paws, the color of blood, as if I had killed…

The color stains all orbs I touch.

The path of others, I see in color. The world I see in monochrome. Is this a curse or a blessing? This is why...I don't see so well.

Musokas who do not obey the Inner Circle. Nightmares who do not obey the darkness.
They say some dwell amongst the two.

It was like standing on a wire, bend too far one way, and you fall.
So not many are able to stand for such a long time, and eventually obey the orders of one or the other.

That’s assuming they aren’t finished off first.

How Roxanne first became tainted, she does not really know.
Why she still has her conscious - that was her inner will, suppressing the voices of the darkness echoing through her mind. But the reason she was targeted, was because of her hatred towards the Circle.

She is actually caring and sweet and she always wanted to care about a kid, but the others keep bullying her. "Nerd!" and "Loser!" is everything they say. She became lonely and angry, and began to ignore them. "Why can't I be normal?"
What's up with that red powder?
It's her life source. She was born without an orb, just with the powder. She needs to touch one orb a day with her paws to keep living. If she doesn't, she will loose all her energy. When she forgot it one day, she had to be brought back to life by a wise elder Musoka.

What's up with that red powder? Tak's red powder isn't anything to be too alarmed about, it has nothing to do with life or death, but rather just some bad habits of hers, you see, though she is a nightmare, she likes to eat red things, especially sweet things. Many times she just sucks the red out of things and it can get rather messy, which she cleans off with her paws and licks off later. Though the red stains her light grey paws and doesn't completely wash off most of the times. Her red orbs, or rather the stolen treasures of hers turn red upon her touch because they are orbs swiped from other mukosa that now reject her. She continues to swipe orbs from other because as time goes on the orbs disintegrate and turn to dust.
