I picked this song because Ron Obvious, the character from which I derived the name, is a guy who keeps having to do the most ridiculous things for publicity. Examples are: Jumping the English Canal, splitting a railway carriage with his nose and running to Mercury. Unfortunately he wasn't able to reach Mercury so he is currently attempting to break the world record for remaining underground the longest. His soul is enjoying eternal Christmas, as the song says.
