Name: "Emmett 'Korey' Tristram is his full name."
Gender: "Biologically, he's male. But he prefers identifying as 'agender'."
Story: "In the streets of London, what sounded a bit like a car alarm echoed through the empty streets. In reality, that alarm came from a small building on it's outskirts. Suddenly, a dark shape scrambled over the fence, albeit a couple large scratches and some really nasty bruises. It's glowing amber eyes cast a single glance back to the building and sprinted off. He was not going back there, even if it was his seemingly only option."
"The building was an orphanage known as 'Happy Feathers Orphanage for Lost and Young Plumerians'. He was completely orphaned from birth ; with his mother dying as she gave birth to him and his father dying 2 months before his birth of cancer, he was destined to have no family. He was hand-raised by one of the nurses for several years, but she soon became to old to care for him. So, she then sent him to the one and only place that orphans could live.....or so she thought. This place was a terrible place. They received no love, no affection, no toys, and not even food on demand. They only got fed once a day, if they even remembered to feed them ; that left them with constant stomach-aches from them being completely empty."
"Emmett continued running, all the way out of London. Every time one of his legs hit the ground, it hurt badly. And I mean, really, really badly! But he wasn't going to stop now ; the orphanage staff were still on his tail and he had to get out of their reach as fast as physically possible. He travelled by night, letting the moon and stars guide him in whatever direction he felt like taking. During the day, he climbed into the canopy to sleep on one of the clumps of branches. He would never be caught up there. One day though, he hit the coast and couldn't run any farther. Even worse, the orphanage staff had finally caught up with them. But at just the right moment, a ship was leaving the docks. He took a flying leap and landed on it's deck, although his landing was a bit harsh and clumsy. He didn't even stop to think about where the ship was going ; he did not care, as long as he was safe."
"As the days passed by, his stomach-ache was slowly worsening because he couldn't show his face in public for fear of being thrown off the ship. When the ship hit land at Washington D.C., he took a flying leap off and started running again. After hours and hours of running, he had come to a small country village in Virginia. He decided to stay for a day or so. The next night, he entered some of the abandoned houses on the west side of town. An old black messenger bag sat on a cold granite counter in one house, the next had various fabrics and ribbons. He grabbed the bag so he could gather supplies for himself. In the other house, he used a tattered piece of black fabric to make himself a cloak to keep warm at night, and tied some of the leftover strips on his legs and tail. A very worn black ribbon was used to keep the cloak in place."
"He pressed on starting the next day, still homeless and still lost to no end. No longer did he really have anyone to run from, but he still couldn't stop ; betrayal by others of his kind led him to believe that no one could be trusted anymore. And he also developed a irrational fear of orphanages and shelters for the homeless, as he never wanted to place himself in that position ever again. He much preferred being a 'street-rat', stealing himself food and the other supplies he needed to survive. At this point, he didn't even want a home that much anymore. He just wanted to survive and be alone."
"The next town that he arrived in was a bit more urban than the previous village. He slept just outside the town under a bush, waiting for the activity to cease. Not only did he restock his supplies, he found some other things that he liked. He found an odd blade, most like a machete, to hunt with. It's also useful for the hobby he took up ; taxidermy. He stole some books on the subject, the proper things he needed, and all of the bones and pelts in the town. To be honest, he actually decided to pick up any bone or pelt that he finds when he travels!"
"A couple days later, he found an even larger town. There, after restocking of course, he stole a very interesting mask base for himself. But when he was about to grab the prized marionette of the theater, an alarm sounded. He was spotted, and the moment their eyes met his, he had a huge panic attack. He dashed right out the door, and ran for miles. Ever since then, he was a wanted plumie. From then on, he forever walked in the shadows for fear of capture."
