    name ; épicéa - ( eh-pee-see-ah ) - means " spruce " in french
    gender ; male
what scares him ? ; what scares épicéa is his own reflection. many laugh at him for this but its because he believes that his reflection will be the thing to kill him, not a bloodthirsty chimpanzee with blue teeth, not an undead reindeer, but a simple reflection of himself. how he became scared of his reflection is unknown.. but now a days you could see him shriek at it and run off.. thats why he hates rooms full of mirrors.. or swimming.

he glanced about. another glance around.. step.. then he saw it.. a demon.
it leaned up against the wall, just sitting.. was it going to move ?
    no.. probably not..
but instead of running he paced forward to the demon.. and found his own reflection.
it was normal until reflection-him simple face turned to a grin and eyes started to glow.. and.. and...
his hat was aging. ripping, tearing, the colors fading slowly.. was this his future ?
    no.
and he proved this by slamming a paw down on the mirror and shattering it.

~ "Shi-Shi" ~

Postby Kyo » Sun Oct 12, 2014 2:42 am

Name: Ashishishe (Goes by Shi or Shi-Shi)

Meaning & Origins: Name coming from the American Indian tribe called the Crow Indians, the name itself meaning crow

Gender: Male

What scares him/her?:
Public Speaking.

Ever since he was young, Shi has had an unwavering fear of speaking public under any circumstance. When he was forced to present in front of his peers at school he would become ill, his hands and legs would shake horribly and his voice would tremble and stutter to the point it was impossible to comprehend. Each presentation would end in tears, collapses, escapes through the door, or even a wet pair of pants. Sometimes, all four could come from the same speech. His grandparents worried about his intense fear or taking in social settings, and though they tried to help him by forcing him to speak to crowds it only worsened his problem. It didn’t make much sense to them, seeing as he was always so open mined and talkative towards them, that he would be so quite and shy around others. The Shi they knew was an expressive and determined character, but the person who shook upon the stage was as cowardly and as silent as a mouse. When he reached age 16, thy agreed to let him drop out of school on the condition that he was to work and maintain the fields for the rest of his life (or until he could find a stable job).

A Little More About Him

Shi-Shi has Crow Indian running through his blood on both his father and his mothers side. He lives in Montana with his aging grandparents, taking care of them and the property they own. They don’t have much money, but Shi works hard raising the crops for harvest each year. It’s something he’s quite good at, though he can’t stand the crows. He’ll often get annoyed at the sight of them and run out of the house with a broom, determined to keep them away. Shi-Shi is not fond of the idea he is named after such a pesky bird.

Name: Liam Rudbeckia Kin
[Liam, an adaptation of William. His parents named him this because because of its link to the poem "Black eyed Susan", in which a young sailor named William, her sweet William, and she both hope that William comes back from sea alive rather than in a casket. Rudbeckia is a Genus of flowers, more commonly called Black-eyed-Susans, a second name given to him because of his own black eyes, and because of his families interest in biology. Because Black-eyed-Susans and Sweet Williams bloom together, exactly at the same moment if planted together. So that he can have part William and part Susan in him, and find someone that grows along with him just as perfectly. His parents were naively romantic.]

Gender: Male
What scares him [250 words]:
The age old fear, for him, losing himself and his own identity. Physical fears of course exist, but this unforeseen trepidation, of losing the faults he owns and the mindset he's lived with and developed all through his existent, creates great discomfort. Discomfort that he can't control for the life of him. That any moment he will fade into a form of himself different from the one he's so familiar, and close, to. Considering the job that he's chosen for himself, physical fears-- the general fear of death, of heights, of great speed and collisions must be adapted to in a way that seam oh so natural.

The skills he has are advanced, and though that is not the only reason for his life choices, it does aid them. Liam, beleive it or not, follows the path of villainy, in a life that seams almost cartoonish and, of course, satirically fantastical. He can make towering tall creatures with metal and technology and traipses as the soul creator and owner of his own amusement park, making and riding in highly well made rides of each variety. When you watch people in such ways, and forms, other reasons for apprehension fall in.

1 short extra [100 words]:

I am a villain and that makes me oh so enticing.

I exude inhuman abilities and an intelligence to make the faint at heart falter and stumble. My bravado, my fancy talk, my lack of social ability and my unfamiliar non-extroverted habits create malice in its finest form. Don't I appease to your interest?

I know I act mundane, but that is just my enhanced facade until the time to break you comes. Then we'll be standing at the top of some whirlwind ride, working on our skills- recommended for beating each other.

It's the adrenaline working at its hardest.

⌛ Chronomentrophobia Corvin ⌛

Corvin suffers from Chronomentrophobia otherwise known as the fear of clocks. The fear of clocks represents the fear of time passing. Anxiety about schedules, punctuality, and other practical concerns can be a part of Chronomentrophobia. However, its root causes may go much deeper than everyday concerns. Usually, a strong and persistent fear of clocks will signal a fear of impending death. Without clocks, time may seem less important, and less real. Corvin feels that he is “ruled by the clock”. This feeling will be a reaction against busy schedules, overextending himself, and feelings of being trapped by a tight schedule. Sometimes, his career makes this phobia worse. For Corvin, it is always a race against time, and the stresses of work will weigh on him. He will often associate clocks with all the other things they dislike about his slow-paced careers. Corvin will avoid having clocks in his home environment at all costs, and chooses to check the time in other ways, such as using a sun dial or asking someone else. The slightest sound of a clock ticking, will cause Corvin to get tremors, headaches, nauseated & anxiety ridden or sometimes in extreme cases he will go crazy and try to find and destroy the clock.
