History: Ocean's life began in Carolina, he spent his careless foal year dozing in the sun and playing with his friends. He was always a hit with anyone who visited the farm, unlike the purebred Marsh Tacky foals he had the beautiful splash markings. It always caught the eye of visitors. Sadly when Ocean was two, his idyllic life was shattered. Some cruel men set fire to the barn one night, Ocean awoke to screams of terror and smoke all around. Ocean smashed at the stall with all his might but the door just wouldn't open. The humans where leading the others out but he was at the back. Finally Ocean broke the stall door, there was no where to go know, fire was everywhere. He then saw the barn was beginning to collapse, the back wall splintered open. He remembered, the back wall of the barn faced the cliff over the ocean. Gathering his courage Ocean raced through the flames, pain filled his body but he kept running. He was out of the barn know, he galloped forth and easily leapt over the low fence blocking the cliff. The water felt painful but also soothing on his many burns. He couldn't get back up the cliff so he started to swim.

Ocean ended up swimming for nearly and hour, between his injuries and the exhaustion of swimming he was near drowning. He suddenly felt sand beneath his hooves, Ocean looked up and saw a beach up ahead. He used his last strength to wade up there and collapsed the warm sand, his sides heaving. As he slept, the waves pushed seaweed and sand up on him, only his head higher up on the beach stayed mostly clean. Later as two young human's skipped by, going down for a swim, Ocean was startled awake. He jumped up and the kids screamed in fright at the seaweed monster before them. Ocean watched in confusion as they ran away, he didn't know that there were legends of a sea monster around these parts. They were just the tales of some old man but some believed it. The kids got their parents down and the parents were just as afraid, so they called the neighbours, the neighbours called some more people and so on. There was nearly a hundred people at the back of the beach, snapping pics and guffawing at the "Monster". Ocean was still confused and started toward them, the people hurried away from him. This continued for nearly an hour and then something happened.

Really? was the first thought through Nyra's head, as the owner of Night Thorn Ranch she was around horses all the time. She was on a short vacation in California and had heard there was supposedly a monster down here. The second the saw the shape of the head, even hidden by seaweed, she knew. Besides monsters were not real, so Nyra strode right down to the monster despite the cries of the people all around. Ocean stood still as the red haired lady pulled the seaweed of him, causing a ripple of laughter and sighs of relief to go through the crowd. "Whose horse is this?" Nyra asked, no one answered. Seeing his thin sides, burned body and pleading eyes Nyra decided he would come home with her. Nyra led him up and off the beach, called up one of her farm hands and they drove up with a trailer. Nyra groomed Ocean up and put some ointment on his burns, she aslo have him his name due to the fact that he had obviously swum to that Beach, since no fires had been reported near the beach. Ocean was not so sure about the canadian weather at first but quickly climatized. He loves his home at Night Thorn Ranch now and has many friends.

He was the pride and joy of those working to conserve the increasingly rare breed, with his gorgeous coat and rare splash gene. Sadly, without much warning, a hurricane swept through the area, separating Utterson from his herd, and even causing some fatalities. Lost and frightened, the young colt searched and searched for his mother without success. Unfortunately, she didn't make it through the storm. The conservationists were frantic, searching everywhere for any remaining horses, but the little roan foal was easily overlooked.

Utterson eventually found his way onto the beach, where a raft of wreckage was near the shore. Curious by nature, Utterson forgot momentarily about his mum and went to investigate. He climbed aboard the tangle of wood, plastic, and ropes, delighted with this new plaything he found. The sea was still a little rough, and the current began to push the wreckage out past the reef. Utterson realised this too late, and screaming for his mummy, was carried out into the open ocean.

He drifted for two days before landing. By then, he was severely malnourished and the sun had burnt his pink skin. Utterson was lucky enough to be found by Frank Haase from Fairbanks, who was on vacation at the time. He scooped up the little foal and took him to the nearest veterinary clinic. Utterson's ails were treated, and he was fine within a month and a half. Mr Haase had to leave, but promised to be back for the colt. His word was true, and in four years, he returned for Utterson, who now was a handsome full grown stallion. He now resides at Fairbanks Stables, where he is loved and cherished for the little miracle he is.

History: Miami lived in England for two and a half years of his life. When his mother was pregnant with him, his owner had an old friend from America visit. This friend told them of America, and about Miami and the rivers and everything. The Englander loved the thought of it all. His name was in the works before he was even born.

Miami lived his life and England pretty comfortably. His owner was a slightly older woman, whom was kind and spoiled her colt with treats and good treatment. In fact, this made it hard when his training began, because Miami was so used to the simplicity and comfort he had been treated with before. His owner hired a trainer to introduce him to Dressage. Miami rebelled. He started shaping up after a few months, but that was when his owner fell ill.

Miami was moved to America when his owner died. Oddly, it was in her will. So, from her last few requests, the colt was shipped off to the US to be with the old friend. Miami was different when he got there. He was quieter and more cooperative. He was frightened by all of this change, and dealt with it by his silence. His new owner didn't understand his behavior. She tried a lot to help him.

The owner finally thought it was her who was causing the stallion's attitude change. Desparately, she sent Miami across the country on another wild adventure, giving him to Cottonwood, thinking they might heal him. No one has really gotten to Miami, and he remains a stoic disposition. He is to be adopted soon, and where he goes from there, no one knows.

History: There was a hurricane coming in the midst of all of the preparation in the small barn was a small pregnant mare, the foal wasn't expect to come until a month. It was going to be the first hurricane of the season it wasn't supposed to be a very big one. The night of the storm the owners had same in the barn, they were awoken to the sound of a loud winnie. When they walked down to the they notice the small mare had a tiny blue roan foal. They named the foal Alex after the name of the hurricane he was born in. When the storm was over they barn and pastures were a wreck to the point that they couldn’t keep them there. A few days after they had found a place to give the five horse that they had to until they could fix the barn. Yet when the people try to take Alex’s dam she got spooked by the new people and the truck and darted off with her small foal clumsily following. They only stop when the small barn was once a small dot in the distance.
For a while for Alex and his dam it was tough they have to try to survive around the dangerous creatures that live in the upper part of Florida. That was until they met up with a small herd of wild horse they were quick accepted into the herd. This is where he meet another foal a buckskin tobiano filly with blue eyes named Aponi. These two instantly became friends and they spent most of their time playing together. When they were around three years old they were both kicked out of the herd. It wasn't all that bad for him leave his family he know had Aponi. The two had plans on forming a band together. Yet life had other plans, the strange thing have came by Alex faintly remember them, humans. Aponi was frightened she didn’t know what they were or what they wanted. She tried to run off yet they got quick caught out with her and put a halter on her with a lead rope. Alex tried to get over to her but they put a halter on him. The two were both dragged in different ways. Alex never really knew what happened to Aponi and Aponi never know what happened to him.
Alex become to distrust the humans. After all he didn't know that they have good intentions for him. When they brought him back to Florida’s animal pound. Alex rearing up as soon as took him out of trailer. He wanted to leave this place and find Aponi. Yet they still manage to bring him into the pasture where he had a major tantrum he was bucking, kicking and rearing. The more they happen him there worst he was. They realized this horse wasn't going to be stay there, they had plenty of horses that need to be recuse and they really need that extra space. They know who to call, Cottonwood Wild Ranch they knew they would take him and he would be better off there in then there small faculty. Soon Alex was once again being taken out of a trailer. Alex was curiosity he knew it definitely wasn't Florida. Alex heart skipped a beat what if Aponi was here? They had taken her away to a different place. A horse can dream can’t he?

He is now out to be adopted and I hope to love him and he will be the Galaxy to my sky.
