Name:
    Kansas Lego Chevorlet

    "Kansas L. Chevorlet"

    First name Kansas, nicknamed Kaz.
Also called by last name, Chevrolet, or Chevy.
Friends may call her my her middle name as well, Lego.

Yes, pretty much entirely based on SPN. Kansas bc that's where they're from, Lego bc there are lego blocks jammed in the vents that Dean puts back in every time he fixes her, and Chevrolet bc of the type of car.

I know it's not a creative name (especially considering what she's based on), but I think that Kansas Chevrolet sound like a really nice name, and I think that that name with the nicknames Kaz/Chevy/Lego is just really, really unbearabley cute. o u o <3
Gender:
    Female
Story:
    "Leaves glistening in the moonlight,
amongst the Gypsies lies a hushed secret.
Their leaves of green and gold are quite the sight,
and attract the attention of the outsider."

The scent of heavy, sweet earth flooded over Kansas in waves.

Her paws hit the ground continuously, running ever faster from the growing threat that followed. She no longer saw the trees as impressive, nor did she see the red mood as gorgeous anymore. Each tree was now a cold, intimidating hand reaching out to pluck her up and deliver her to her assailant. The moon was now a menacing blood red peeking from behind the trees as though foreshadowing her fate.

The croaking of frogs around her, sweat dripped from her chin. Somewhere to her left a twig snapped. Another twig. And another. Kansas gulped, but did not dare slow. A frog jumped into her path, causing her to skid to a halt with an indignant squeal. More twigs snapped around her.

    24 hours earlier...

Kansas padded through the woods, admiring the great tall trees that stretched up forever. The red moon gave her a happy thrill, too, as she'd rarely taken the time to look at such things. She was on a mission, she had to find the Gypsies, whoever they were.

Not soon after the thought crossed her mind was she in the midst of several rugged-looking strangers. The group looked somehow mystical, in a way that could only mean that they were the Gypsies. They seemed abnormally friendly, however, and invited her to their campfire with open arms. She almost felt bad about deceiving them. They swapped stories about their daily adventures, and offered her stew. Kansas listened intently for any mention of the jewels. Almost like her wish had been granted, an attractive Gypsy man stepped out from the shadows and told the same tale that had brought her to these woods.

Name: Now 'Cher,' but he was previously called Impala.
Gender: Male
Story: (word limit: 1000 words)

Damp grass brushed against his legs and he strolled along hot tarmac. The dawn sun warmed his fur, and a breeze tugged at his feathers. There was not another soul in sight.

He wouldn't have it any other way.

Humming an upbeat tune, he carried on down the abandoned highway, flicking his charcoal colored tail to a beat only he could hear.

He cannot remember why he started walking, it just became something that he did. His paws stuck on autopilot with only his shadow for company.

He doesn’t mind.

There are lots of things he cannot remember. Faces, names, places. All slipping together and sliding away from his grasp. He had a name once, but it has fallen away like dust in the wind.

His paws carried him down the tarmac, passing a lonely speed limit sign. He’s been all over, through small, dusty one-horse towns with dirt roads and houses that are barely more than sheds to noisy, bustling cities full of people rushing about like salmon in a stream.

He thinks he had home, and friends. And maybe parents who came over every year on Thanksgiving. It's all been washed away except for two figures.

He keeps their initials painted on his flank.

The flash of rusty metal in the sun caught his eye, and he looked up at the shiny green paint. Peeling white letters pointed at an empty exit. Lawrence, Kansas - This Exit.

The name pulled at thin cobwebs in his foggy memory. He blinked, swallowing down déjà vu. His paws started moving; driven by a subconscious itch.

He padded up the sloping exit ramp, toward the quiet town. Maybe he'll finally find the mysterious S. and D. W. that his mind clings to so desperately.

He must have been very dear to them. Or were they very dear to him?

He couldn't remember.

Cher. That's what he would call himself. 'Dear' in the language of love itself. Just another rock on the island of S. and D. W.

Cher. He walked up the exit ramp repeating the name to himself. It may have just been the sun, but he could have sworn the colors seemed a little brighter.

He stepped off the road as the world began waking up. The birds began their morning chorus. Cars still glittering with dew pulled onto the road, passing him by with a whoosh that tugged on his fur.

Moisture clung to his legs, slipping between his paw pads and tangling in his fur. It was a small relief to step onto a cool cement sidewalk. He padded up the street, looking at the uniform houses. Grey shingled roofs and celadon painted walls, neatly clipped lawns and wood picket fences.

Cher walked through the quiet neighborhood, stepping around the occasional jogger and dog walker. An object bounced against his leg, nearly tripping him. A shiny blue ball, painted with tiny yellow and white stars was resting by his left front leg. A happy giggle drew his attention to a young child. She was smiling, waving at him like an old friend. He nudged the ball back towards her.

Cher was off again, this time with a forlorn smile painting his features.

As he approached the town center, life grew steadily busier. He stepped around a biking couple, observing the people. Awnings of every color decorated the streets, along with wire tables and chairs at every cafe’s doorstep.

He walked up to a notice board overflowing with flyers, posters and colored papers. Babysitting ads, tutoring offers, job openings. With a sad frown he noticed the couple of missing pets and people. One flyer caught his eye, it looked like the oldest paper on the cork surface, half buried under blue paper tabs and pink sticky notes.

It was a paper for a missing plumerian. There was a picture, but it was too worn to make out anything more than a dark-furred smiling figure. He read the text underneath, simply a name and a phone number to call. With a sad smile he noticed it was dated May 2nd 2012.

He carried onwards hoping that Impala, whoever he may be, was happy and alive.

Cher spent the day wandering around town, checking out popular tourist spots and walking through parks. He met a few nice people, a young couple handed him twenty dollars when he let it slip that he had no home.

At the local Goodwill, he found a minimally worn, sleek black messenger bag. At the register, the old lady seemed overjoyed to see him. She slipped a twine necklace, strung with yellow and blue legos and a green army man over his head. Thoroughly confused, Cher let himself be ushered back outside. The lady waved at him, yelling something about finding his buddies, ‘‘they’ve gone frantic looking for you!’’

Cher swung the bag up on shoulder, tucking away the remaining money. He turned his paws back towards the highway. He had learned quite a bit about himself in the last day. His head ached, and his paws were beginning to drag against warm asphalt.

While there was no sign of the mysterious D. W. and S.W., it was certainly a start.

He barely managed to sidestep two plumerians dashing up the street. “Dean! Wait for me!” Cher froze, that name pulled at so many threads and set off a chorus of bells in his head. He couldn’t place it, the memories spiraled away from his paws like a balloon on a windy day.

Cher gave up and continued. Deep in his mind, he had the faint feeling that he missed a big opportunity. Shrugging it off, he wandered farther into the outskirts of town.

Only when he was a ways down the highway did he remember the necklace. He pulled it over his head and examined the trinket. He noticed there was something carved underneath the army man’s base. Holding it up to the dying sun’s light, he found it was one word.

Impala.

Name: Highway
Gender: Male
Story:
Once there was a Feral Plummi who roamed the Highway Day after day, She was Very Ragged and torn from Previous Encounters with a metal Beast that Shot across The Empty Road. there was a Day where she saw a faint Shadow of a Familiar shape, Could It be? Another plumerian? As she approached this apparition She noticed That This Creature was gravely Inured and was very weary. She came up underneath that battered and lifted him up and carried him off into the Foggy Frozen Forest that Surrounded the Highway.

The Forest Was no flat terrain, She had to traverse Through Mounds of Frozen Greenery and Be weary of the Frost-Bitten Monsters that Lurked within. Nothing came out of their warm Hovels during the Night. The War-torn Plumerian walked all the way to a Damp cave that was Lodged into the Mountain, She Carefully Layed the wounded Creature of some half Eaten Deer and rodents. she inspected the... Plumerian who lay motionless atop the Dead animals, Her Motherly instincts Took over and Started to take some of the dead deer and took out the gross Bits and the Meat, She draped the Pelt over herself and the other Plumerian.

After a Week past the Other plumerian was almost fully recovered, the Wounds have healed over and the Broken bones have Slowly recovered But not 100% walking still Hurts but no longer makes his whole Body tremble and want to just collapse. A few Moments after waking up to the sound of Snarling and a Whimpers, he was Surprised to see that he wasn't Hurting and That he some how was in a "safe Place" with another plumerian. "where am I and who are you!?" He said, Trying to sound intimidating. The other Plumerian Turned and looked at Him "Good to see Your alive and Moving..."

In confusion, The male plumerian replied in a softer tone "what do You mean, Did I die or something?..." The feral Plummi Got up and stretched, " I would think you could have Remembered Being Close to Death, I mean, It was Lucky that I had stumbled upon you when I did, or else the Unforgiving cold would have taken you." She walked out of the cave and Out into the Cold. He sat down and Thought to himself about what she had said to him, He blurted out "man, shes really nice, How could I repay her for all this kindness?" He Pranced out of the cave and Right away he started shutter the taken over by worry "Where'd she go!?".

Running through the Frozen wasteland calling out into the Desolate forest "Lady! Where have You gone! Please Please Reply!". Speeding off into the Tundra, He saw a Light Flash and a Horrid screech and In no time a Large Metal Monster shot Past him, just missing him by a inch. In no time the The metal Beast hit a tree and Set ablaze, He was shocked to see a Different creature Crawl out of the Beast Holding something in a Blanket. The plumerian Approached the being as it start to run away, he began to chase it until the being Stopped and collapsed in-front of him.

"excus..." He stopped as he heard a cry from the blanket that was slowly being crushed underneath the person, Quickly he nuzzled under the person and Pulled out the blanket along with whatever was in it. He didn't even look at what was in the bundle, but he knew it would freeze out in the open, he quickly followed his foot prints back to the cave where he was Stared down by the Feral plumerian who had no problem Scolding Him for Leaving when he still was recovering. "what convinced you to Leave when its Below the freezing point?? You could have got yourself Killed by some other Creature... I shouldn't even bo.. what do you have there? why is it c r y i n g ?" Stopped a Stared towards him "what did You Do...?"

"Well Im not Sure miss, I haven't stopped to look" Set the Blanket in front of Her and Slowly unwrapped it, "its.. Its a..." he Stuttered Looking down at the Baby Plumerian That Had finally Stopped crying and had passed out. "Where did You Find this Kid??" She Exclaimed "We need to find its Parents Like, Now!" She started to wrap the pup up again but Interrupted "I dont think it had parents, I... I took it from a Fleshy Being Who Held the Pup till It Passed on after it crashed into a tree.." They Both stared Blankly Untill She spoke up "well we will have to take care of the Kid then.." She slowly Picked up the Child from the blanket and set it on top of the warm bodies of decaying animals.

Year after year of taking care of the infant, they both decided to name the Pup Highway, Highway was now old enough to walk Around, and soon taken advantage of by the "Mother" who would walk to the Road and back with her toddler. One day, they walked to the Road and didn't return as the normally would..

A Car Horn Blared as it tried to Avoid hitting the two animals that walked across the roadway, Highway Sped across the road to avoid getting hit, though his mother didn't react quick enough and with a Screech of the tire trying desperately to stop. The Metal beast Hit her with one strong blow that Threw Her about a yard, nothing could be heard except The Person Who emerged from the vehicle Saying "oh my God" repeatedly as she walked to the bloodied animal who lay motionless in a pool of red.

Highway Ran Home with his eyes Full of golden tears That slowly ran down his face. The father ran out of the cave hearing the cries of his child "What Had Happened!? Where is..." Highway Said "I loved every step of the journey. Beginning to end."
