What are you called
zared is what this guy prefers to be
known by. I picked this name because my
younger cousin's name is actually "jared"
and he just so happens to love bats. He is
border-line autistic so I would love to have
this character so I may make art of him
for my cousin and represent how much
Jared means to me.

- - - - Zared prefers to reside deep in the forests of Transylvania PA. If you venture far enough into the woods, you may stumble upon him in his most "at peace" state. Zared has made his home on the top of a waterfall on a rock that overlooks the forest. He finds joy in the beauty of the horizon at dusk and the sound of the rushing water that falls below.

&Name Meaning;;
Italian cognate of Salvador, Spanish form of the Late Latin name Salvator, which meant "saviour". His mother chose it because she wanted a "sexy" son.

&Where does he Live?;;
Salvatore lives in his home and self-owned tavern, named "The Bat Cave". A popular gathering area, it serves as a coffee shop, a place to meet friends, and even has musicians, comedians, and all sorts of acts come in and perform there. It even has enough space to hold a few traveling guests. As its name suggests, the theme is like a romantic bat cave.

&What is he Afraid of?;;
Clowns. A long time ago, Salvatore was kidnapped by a clown-faced man who wanted to keep him as his entertainment. The man owned his own carnival, and made the young Plumi perform in-front of people, because if he didn't, the clown-faced man and his clown-faced friends would hurt him. Because of this, the only people not allowed anywhere near his tavern are clown faces or carnivals.

&Name and Name Meaning

His name shall be Diomedes. It means evil king in Greek, and I think it suits him. Not exactly the king part though, he was never the king type.

&Where does he live?

What a stupid question, he lives in a normal house like every other plumerian. Just because he's half bat doesn't mean he lives in a cave.

&What is he afraid of?

Vampires. When he was a young child and he was out trick or treating, a older plumerian in a vampire costume walked up to him and told him "I want to suck your blood!" Diomedes never wants to hear those words again.

&Why is he half bat?

His father was a bat, but after being in a scientist's lab he was a bat plumerian. His mother was a normal plumerian with a love for bats and all things black. When they met his mother wanted to know everything about him. His father who wasn't to good at speaking plumerian said he would tell her if she taught him how to speak plumerian. Over that time, they fell in love and eventually had a child. But the father couldn't stay, for he didn't belong here, and flew off after Diomedes was born.

&His companion?




Meet Ludwig, Diomedes humorous little bat. Ludwig likes to pull pranks on plumerians except for Diomedes. He actually can give you a good scare, which is very surprising for a little bat like himself.

&Story?

"Mother?" Diomedes called "I need to go." His mother, who had her bright orange hair pulled back in a bun, walked out of the bedroom. She yawned and sipped some tea. "Where are you going?" she asked him sleepily. Diomedes stood on the stairs, with his suitcase and pet bat. "To find father.." he admitted. "I will gone for at least a day. If I don't return home by then, you have every right to go looking for me." he told her, and kissed his mother on the cheek. He drove away from the small cabin he had grew up in. The only place he had ever known, his only social life. Diomedes glanced back to see his mother at the window, waving goodbye.

An hour later Diomedes was downtown, walking on the sidewalk. His bat hid inside the hood of his jacket. "So these are the city slickers?" Ludwig finally asked. Diomedes nodded. "What an interesting bunch. They all wear such tacky clothes and do weird things and...." They stopped at the small coffee shop called Coyote Cafe, where father had said goodbye to mother. "This is it." Diomedes breathed. He pushed open the door to find a young female plumerian cleaning the tables. She had the kindest eyes had ever seen. "You look just like your father!" she exclaimed, and looked all over him. "Yep, your his son." the girl said and grabbed his hand. "Tabatha? We have the son!"

"Your father says he'll be here in a second." Tabatha, an elder plumerian, told Diomedes. "How do you know him?" he asked. Tabatha sighed and took off her coat. Out of her sweater were the largest bat wings Diomedes had ever seen. "Because I am your grandmother. Your father came here because I was the only one he trusted. Being his mother, I let him live with me as he had no shelter. His quest was to find you and your mother." The door swung open. "Diomedes?" the plumerian asked. "Father?" Diomedes exclaimed. They exchanged glances and the message was clear. Everything was going to be okay now.
