Autumn is.....definitely a character. Many people find her absolutely THE most annoying horse on the planet. She doesn't like to listen to anyone. She has an odd but joyous air about her, so that even when she is annoying people she is also making them happy. Autumn loves attention, in shows or even for visitors at the farm, she will snort or do a little buck just to get all eyes on her. Even though she has to make these little displays, Autumn is a hard worker and if treated properly will give back 100x more.
Autumn is lighter bodied than most rangers, at first many looked down upon her for this. For cart races though, Autumns small size helps her to go much faster. She also has amazingly strong will power and spirit. Even in the worst of situations Autumn never gives up. Autumn is also gifted with a slightly larger heart, this again helps her go faster for longer. Because of her brave and care free nature Autumn almost NEVER spooks.
Her small size is and advantage is some spots but a great disadvantage in pulling, especially in teams. In teams Autumns small size will offset the balance and she can often not pull quite as hard. Autumn is very bad at being a work horse because she likes to go fast and do what she likes.
Autumn adores sugar cubes, they are her favourite thing in the world. The sweet sugary taste, the crunch as she bit down and the feeling of the sugar melting away...She is also a fan of racing, she loves to compete and hates to lose. Autumn has always had a soft spot for cats, most likely because she grew up near so many.
Dogs! When Autumn was a little filly she was chased about the paddock by a stray mutt. She received a few fairly minor wounds before her owners were able to save her. Since then whenever she sees a dog Autumn panics and becomes angry. Losing at anything. Having horseshoes put on, her owners don't even have them put on Autumn anymore because she was so bad when being shoed. It was the heaviness, the odd shiny things in her feet, it all just really bothers Autumn for some reason.
There are not many horses at Rose River farm yet, so Autumn's only hose friend is a mare named Dough. The two mares spend all day together, grazing alongside one another, swatting each others flies and sharing stories.
