Keetins are small, agile mouse creatures that live within the trees of any forested climate in the world. They can't run very fast or fly, but they are terrific at leaping and climbing, despite their short limbs. These little guys tend to be tamed as companions and will often be seen riding their handler's shoulder, pockets or hiding in their hair. Keetins will never grow any larger than a squirrel, baby Keetins (called Kits) can be as small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A Keetin's diet consists of their favourite food, Strawberries! However they are also seen eating other fruits and sometimes cakes.
A group of Keetins is called a Keetai (pronounced key-tie). They communicate through a series of small pips and mews.
When happy, a Keetin will release a scent from a gland inside it's ear, making it smell beautifully like strawberries.

A sky bison based keetin! Or, uh, an Appa based keetin! Isn't he/she a cuite? A:TLA is my favorite show ever!

Oogy. I chose this name since this is what the Air Nomad (Ang's son)'s bison is named in the second Avatar Series; The Legend Of Kora. It is pronounced ooh - gee.

Quiet, shy, gentle, listening, somewhat picky and odd.

Oogy isn't one to warm up to anyone quickly, and usually tends to be seen as rude due to this. He doesn't like strangers, and wants nothing to do with them... But once you prove that you aren't going anywhere he will warm up to you slowly, spending more and more time with people until they are what he considers to be his friend.

Oogy is very gentle and caring about other animals, although he is really shy when around other Keetins. He would rather spend the day alone in nature, glad to be free spirited and not yet have the tie down feel when one has a family. Not that Oogy doesn't ever want a family ever, it is just that he enjoys the time he has now as a young adult. Some day, he will find the right Keetin to share his life with, perhaps. But that could wait for now.
