What is a Keardor?
A Keardor is a smaller cousin species of the Kora. It is a type of big cat with a bright spirit and a love for feathers. Keardors are partially feathered themselves, usually at their rears and cheeks. Crown and ankle feathers are less common. They have feathery dorsal manes that rut backwards or upright. They are short at the head and never fall forward. Their tails are huge and plumy, and they take great pride in this feature. Keardors, like Koras, often have spots, but significantly fewer. They usually stay restricted to paws, face, and/or rear. Keardors are quite outgoing and lovable, though very finicky about choosing a master.
Perhaps, you can be their companion of choice.

Alex viewed what work he had completed, with the little amount of time he had, it was a wonder it was remotely presentable. His fingers were stained from spreading the paint, and his jaw ached from absentmindedly holding the brushes with his mouth.
It would definitely take time for the paints to wash from his hands, and he would strive to drive the idea that he was the 'fruit loop painter' from the minds of his customers.

Not that being called 'fruit loop' bothered him, he was naturally laid back and didn't really take notice to these remarks. But sometimes it drove away customers, who were under the assumption that he painted with crushed and watered fruit loops. [the particularly stupid ones of course.] But then again, nobody really cared if he simply said it was nickname, though lying was never his strong suit.

He studied the painting for imperfections, hoping he had created a piece of perfect artwork. His heart dropped when he saw it, the woman in the picture, had a discolored finger-nail. Instead of being glossy, smooth, and a toned down tan color, it was white. As white as a cloud. As white as drywall.

A voice in his head suggested that maybe his client wouldn't notice, but as said before, he was a horrible liar. Breathing in a ragged breath he looked longingly at the hand. He would have to explain to his commissioner what had gone wrong.

While he mulled over the best way to expose his awful mistake, he heard the doorbells booming ring. No time to fix it now, he thought as a feeling of total devastation crept into his stomach and pushed his heart into his throat. He walked slowly up to his door, it felt like forever before he reached it, though it was less than a minute. Swinging open the door he was greeted by Alison, the redhead with the glamorous smile who had paid him to make this particular piece.
