Name: After a bit of thinking and deciding, I came up with the name Hayes, an Irish name meaning "from the hedged land." I wanted to give him a short yet unique name that sounded fitting.
Why the dyed mane and tail?: Why, the reason is actually quite simple, out of all the horses around him, Hayes wanted to look unique and special, an unique sight to see when other horses glance at him. Looking around at the resources around him, he found some nice ol' bucket of non-toxic dye, used for dyeing clothing but, but the shade of blue just appealed to him, mostly since it matched his eye color. so he dipped his mane and then his tail into the dye, but there wasn't enough that's why there is still a trace of his natural color at the tip of his tail. After being quite satisfied with the results of dying his mane and tail, he was obviously one amazing sight to see, a horse who dyed their own mane and tail!
