I edited this into the first post, but I'll repeat myself: You can totally use paper mache for your model! But I ask that you stay away from plaster or plaster paper/strips.

ALSO: Your model doesn't need to be hyper-realistic or heavily detailed - unless you really want to go that route - I just need to be able to recognize that its an equid!
