What is a Keetin?

Keetins are small, agile mouse creatures that live within the trees of any forested climate in the world, and are closely related to the Twiglet species. They can't run very fast or fly, but they are terrific at leaping and climbing, despite their short limbs. These little guys tend to be tamed as companions and will often be seen riding their handler's shoulder, pockets or hiding in their hair. Keetins will never grow any larger than a squirrel, baby Keetins (called Kits) can be as small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. A Keetin's diet consists of their favourite food, Strawberries! However they are also seen eating other fruits and sometimes cakes.
A group of Keetins is called a Keetai (pronounced key-tie). They communicate through a series of small pips and mews.
When happy, a Keetin will release a scent from a gland inside it's ear, making it smell beautifully like strawberries.

This keetin is loosely based off of Uzu Sanageyama from Kill La Kill.

Personality:
N is very quiet. If not shy. He tends to know everything about treating someone right, but he had been orphaned at a young age. With this issue, N had had the small problem of communicating, and with that, he became more and more detached from the world. Right now, n doesn't know how to speak to anyone properly, for fear of the fact that he'll mess up and end up all alone. Something he's used to by know.



Accessories: the handkerchief
N wears a multipurpose handkerchief because of the fact that there is something he finds truly bonding between him and the handkerchief. N usually never takes the handkerchief of himself, for fear of losing it, and/or looking that hidden bond that he's grown up with, with it forever.

N can wear his handkerchief in a variety of ways, and even ways that aren't listed here on that image. His normal way of wearing it is on his left shoulder. But occasionally you'll find the handkerchief somewhere else on his body.

Today I did something very evil. I swapped the salt and sugar shakers. Evil! I know! How could I do such a thing, now someone will end up putting salt in there drink! MWHHAHAH! How bad can I even be!

I found the hero, he was sneaking around my house, I have not caught him yet, he seems to look just like me, I am always seeing his tail behind me and I see him facing me sometimes, when I run at him, some sort of glass barrier appears.....hmmm

Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ:
He will focus their attention on just a few people, a single worthy cause - spread too thinly, he’ll run out of energy, and even become dejected and overwhelmed by all the bad in the world that he can’t fix. This is a sad sight for his friends, who will come to depend on their rosy outlook.

If they are not careful, he can lose himself in his quest for good and neglect the day-to-day upkeep that life demands. he often drift into deep thought. Left unchecked, he may start to lose touch, withdrawing into "hermit mode", and it can take a great deal of energy from his friends or partner to bring them back to the real world.

Luckily, like the flowers in spring, his affection, creativity, altruism and idealism will always come back, rewarding him and those he loves perhaps not with logic and utility, but with a world view that inspires compassion, kindness and beauty wherever he goes.
