So I wanted to make a pretty one that was very simple, and I couldn't help but make a porcelain doll one. Of course, you can make this one male or female or whatever. There may or may not be a runner up ;3 For the contest, you must doll this baby up. Where it is now are the natural markings, but your job is to add some non-genetic marks on the pseudo. That means they won't pass on to children. You may also, and are encouraged, to give this one some accessories to match. Make sure that they aren't overdone to the point that the lizard can't walk. Maybe a dolled up/Lolita lizard harness for an idea? Extras are allowed, and art will get you some pretty points to winning if you can't describe it well. You can also change the mane style just a tad, but not too much (No changing color)

Name: Kilian, meaning "small and fierce" in Irish.
Nickname: "Tiny"; his mother gave him this nickname when he was young, because he was the runt of the litter. However, if you call him this, you will certainly regret it.

Description: I wanted to keep the same basic color palette, so there aren't really any different colors. However, I did make some major changes to the design, in terms of accessories/scars. For starters, I gave him a purple collar with teeth sticking out of it, and a bird skull attached to the front (as this character that I've made is in reference to the Warrior Cats character, Scourge). Next, we have the glove on his right paw. This glove has long, hooked blades attached to it; perfect for fighting and catching prey. His feathers are messy, and cover his eyes in some parts. He has a long, jagged scar running from his left eye to his right cheek, which has permanently blinded his left eye. There's also a scar on his rump, one on his lower right side, and two on his right shoulder. As far as non-genetic markings go, he has a darkly-colored, upside-down triangle on his right cheek, and the tips of both ears are the same dark color. He has three bands of this color on his left leg, while his paw is the same dark color. However, I took the pinks of the palette and used them as a natural gradient in between the bands. Kilian also bears a long, dark stripe running down his back to the upper half of his tail. Please note that I did not use any colors different from those used on the palette for the design itself. The only colors that are different from those on the palette are those of the accessories.
How the Markings are Possible: Nobody really knows this, but he markings are actually stained on. Kilian got an unknown substance splashed onto him while he was out walking one day, and only managed to get so much off before it dried. No matter how hard he tries to get the rest off, the stain would not come out. It's permanent, and to this day, he still loathes how he looks.
Basic Overview of Personality: Kilian is a fearsome gang leader, who is known for his trademark clawed glove. He is a born leader, and strikes fear into the hearts of many, despite his small stature. He's reserved, for the most part, and won't attack without reason. However, if you manage to get on his bad side, you will regret it. He can be rather sadistic and twisted when it comes to fighting, and shows no mercy. He shows no signs of remorse; not to women, the elderly, or even children. He believes that everyone dies for a reason; therefore, it does not matter how they die, or if they are taken before their time or not. He's very prideful, and will not hesitate to attack if you injure his ego. He is easily agitated, and will most likely give you a few scars if you get on his nerves. Contrast to his fierce personality, since most are afraid of him, Kilian is extremely lonely most of the time. He just wants a friend, but many are too scared of him to try and befriend him.

I thought long and hard about a concept for this girl's markings, and through all the thinking and scraps, I knew for sure that I wanted one thing: to keep it simple. I experimented with many different pallets. At one point venturing as far as a light limey green (thank gosh I decided against that). In the end I settled on this plum red kind of color. I love the way it looks on her creamy base. It pops but it's subtle enough to add a sense of simple elegance, the exact character that I want Nadia to have. The markings are made of a paint like stain that she found in the forest. Probably made from crushing flower petals. After having applied the elegant pattern so many times it had become permanently tattooed on her creamy colored scales. The color blue is something that I wanted to incorporate somewhere. Dusty blue is my favorite color. It's the color of the sky. It's the color of my mom's eyes. It's also the color of my baby blanket (which I proudly still own and sleep with today). I chose to put it into feathers because I see feathers as being something very precious to pseudos. They are used to attract potential mates and ward off competition. The feathers would be something highly prized to a pseudo. Although these two feathers do not originally belong to Nadia, she would treat the with same tender carefulness that she would treat her own. Above all I wanted to design markings that I would fall in love with, and I am proud to say that I have. She may not be as doll-like as you were expecting with the competition, but to me she is perfect. I want to take the time to thank you for this competition, Beat.

Meek and mild are the first things that come to mind when one thinks of sweet Nadia. She's soft spoken, generous, loyal, and tries to keep on the good side of everyone she meets. Unfortunately, being friends with everybody often gets Nadia into a sticky situation when two friends fight. She always seems to be torn between the two and often struggles to the point of breaking down herself when trying to hear out both sides of the story, so when it comes to drama she tries to avoid it as much as possible. That doesn't mean she isn't there when someone needs her. Nadia is always the first to lend an ear when someone needs it; wether it's just discussing the weather or listening to a sobbing rant, Nadia is there to listen. Another thing about Nadia is that she wears her heart on her sleeve. She's very honest and upfront about her feelings, especially when it comes to her romantic relationships.
On the other hand, Nadia is often very naive and could easily be manipulated. This comes with being so trusting. Nadia knows she can't believe everything someone tells her, but she's always willing to give them the benefit of a doubt. Also, sadly, the pressure of listening to other's issues is heavy on Nadia's shoulders, as while she's busy hearing everyone else out she never truly gets to let off some steam herself. To her, it's not the proper thing to do to let your sorrows weigh down someone else.

The non-genetic markings.

Shiro's non-genetic markings are a form
of tattoos mixed with staining. As a child,
she loved swirly like markings along with
the color gold. Throughout most her childhood,
Shiro would put on hold paint into the design
she wanted, and when she created the design
you see today, she feel in love with it. Through
her years, the paint started to stain her body.
She saw this and was beyond happy. Later on,
she had a professional darken in the staining and
make it pop out against her pale color. The reason
it was gold because of her child hood love for
steam-punk items and clothing. She wanted the
color to match her obsession, which she did, and
she is very proud of the markings she has today.

Shiro loves to wear steam-punk gear.
She wears an old styled dress shirt with
a black and dark red vest. She also wears
a golden cravat with that. Shiro also wears
leather bracers on her front legs with the
buckles being gear like and straps wrapping
around them. While wearing this costume, Shiro
may add earrings and other items. Shiro also
has a long duster she can add to the outfit and
a top hat with steam-punk goggles around the
hat that she can wear. She also puts trinkets
on around her tail of different sized gears.
Shiro can also be found wearing gloves with
gears on the back of them. Shiro also has a
silver pocket watch she has with her outfit.
All the buckles and straps are styled to fit the
steam-punk theme she has.

~Hyper~Bubbly~Hot-headed~Witty~

:~Hyper~:
Shiro is hyper, and makes
it hard for her to focus. She can focus,
but it takes a lot of hard work to get her
to focus. Shiro mostly focuses on dressing
herself up as a steam-punk dragon, and is
often seen dashing about trying to gather parts
to add to her costume. She will bug others for
items she will need, and also loves to run around.
When working, you will see her pace around a lot,
and she can never seem to sit still, always shifting,
or trying to speak. Her hyperness has gotten her
into a lot of trouble, but she never seems to care.

:~Bubbly~:
Bubbly is another word
that can easily describe her. Shiro loves to
smile and be happy. She is hardly seen being
upset or hurt. With her bubbly trait, Shiro
loves to make others smile, but she is not
over bubbly, she just hate being depressed
or upset. She finds no need to be as long as
she has something to look forward to the
next day.

:~Hot-Head~:
Shiro is stubborn and can be
slightly temperamental, always jumping
head-first into many problems, which can
lead to many downfalls on her part. She is
quick to act, which can cause her to end up
with the blunt of the force. She can also be
hot-headed towards her friends if they try
changing her mind on something.

:~Witty~:
Shiro is also rather witty, but at
certain times, she can be dense about many
things. Shiro is smart, but thanks to her being
hyper, she can't focus very well, and most things
can fly over her head, but it can also help her
when coming up with witty come-backs and
playfull banters to start up with her friends.
