❥ ❥ England is his favorite place. Yes, it is where he grew up, but specifically this is due to the fact that located there is Stonehenge. You see, Stonehenge is the closest Az will ever be able to get to the ancient civilizations that had previously inhabited the planet. The proof of life's tiny blip on Earth's radar is evident when one can just experience and revel the fact that it has been here for longer then we can imagine. The chances that life is able to continue on this planet are so tiny that its something he likes to remind himself of. Visiting Stonehenge does just that for him. When he visists he takes in the sheer ancientness of the place while looking to the sky and thanking whatever is out there that on this planet, Earth, life has been given a chance. He thinks of all the tiny possibilities that didn't make Earth like Venus or Mars. He thinks of the chemical reactions taking place that allow things to live on this planet. From the Volcanos which spew the CO2 that creates the atmosphere to the oceans which control our climate. The recycling of the planets recourses through thousands of reactions. It always reminds him how much he loves chemistry. The water with its hydrogen bonding which gives life a chance, the atmosphere with its deposits of CO2 to keep the planet warm, the molten core that keeps the planet alive. The fact that the right conditions were met, that there is a history to look back upon. Everything is tied together. All one needs to do is look at the proof of life. This is what he loves

❥ ❥ one might be curious to why his favorite color is the lack of color but its completely relevant. You see, Az is a chemist, and in chemistry color is one of the most important factors to determine a reaction has taken place along with heat release/absorption and more. This means that the color or lack of color is extremely crucial in some chemical reactions. The fact that you could have a clear liquid then BOOM a yellow precipitate is amazing in his mind. So yes, the fact that there can be a lack of color is one of his favorite things out there!

one might see this as a weakness in Az, as courage can sometimes be misused, but in fact he sees it as one of his greatest strengths. It gives him the courage he needs to continue to experiment and move forward, the confidence to share his ideas with others around the globe.

Az is willing to share his ideas with those around him, willing to share his knowledge and experience with those who are looking for help. He likes to get out there and just share himself.

one of Az's biggest life goals is to just be kind to others. You never know what kind of day someone could be having. You never know if one kind word or gesture could make the difference. This is just a philosophy he has lived by since he was a child, a long ago memory of something his mother had told him. Now it is just so engrained in his being it comes naturally.

you see, sometimes Az draws back into himself. He gets so caught up in his work he forgets himself. He looses track of time and hides himself away in his lab working on the next big thing. He tries hard to not forget that there are others out in the world, but he goes weeks at a time forgetting that he should interact with these beings. He doesn't want to become someone he wishes not to be through carelessness and seclusion, and he tries to remember, but things just get complicated
