When Finley was young, she often took strolls around where she lived, discovering new places to play in and new things to tell her family and friends about. One day, she found an abandoned house with a small pond nearby. In the pond was a single large silver koi, who looked very sick. It's fins were torn, it swam almost sideways and flopped around weakly. Determined to save the koi, she visited the pond every day with a container of fish food and lettuce from the garden. She named the koi Silver, because of it's color, and that it seemed shiny in the sun. After a month , the koi never seemed to get better, and eventually died in front of Finley. For a few years, she forced herself to forget about it, absolutely broken by the loss of her friend. One day, however, she was reminded of Silver again when she walked past that abandoned house, the water in the pond now completely evaporated. Inspired by the memories that flooded into her mind, she decided right then and there to buy at least one fish. This fish was a small silver fish that looked exactly like Silver, it's scales practically sparkling in the sunlight. She named it Hope. After that, her small admiration for koi became one of her favorite hobbies, which she spends most, if not all, of her time doing. She collected every species of koi, goldfish, and a variety of tropical fish. Finley built a pond that looked exactly like the one at the abandoned house, but newer and cleaner. Along with the pond, she also found turtles to make the pond more complete. She also owns about 3 fish tanks full of smaller tropical fish. Every day, she thinks of new plants or items to add to her aquatic paradise, and will always be building her pond bigger and better to fit her growing population of fish. Now, it's been about three years with this hobby, and Finley is still going strong with her fishkeeping hobby, with her Queen koi, Hope. Finley has considered making a business out of her little koi 'farm', but she couldn't imagine giving up even one of her precious babies to anyone. Her dream when it comes to this hobby is to obtain a giant shark tank with a full-size black-tip in it to become the prince of her fishy kingdom.
