Due to her rather neutral personality, the color of
Kara's necklace largely remains the same. However, since her
default mood- neutral- is green, a secondary color, it often
has undercurrents of other colors running through it. A yellowy
tint indicates a more mellow and contented mood, while if
the green tends more towards teal, it indicates a darker,
brooding change of mood. When the feather changes to an
orange-green color known as citron,
Kara is likely to be confused, and a pinky shimmer shows a
more playful change of mood. Beyond those four basic colors,
the leaf will have to morph colors to show any stronger
emotions; the colors are fairly basic as well. However, one
unique fact is that her leaf never goes grayscale; black, white
and greys are out of the question, though the colors can take
slightly greyer hues to show a more bored emotion. Red
signifies anger, the brighter the more emotional, and a pale
blue shows sadness. Navy can be brooding and quiet, while
mint-green is shy, and lavender equals loving.

Karalorea is a very calm, cool and
collected Mako. Rarely does she let anything get to her head,
preferring to stop such negativity from clouding her mind and
instead drifting on peaceful and contented thoughts. Kind in
both heart and mind, Kara is always willing to help any other
in need, expecting nothing in return but their inevitable
gratitude. A firm believer in karma and auras, as well as in
certain types of witchcraft and even curses and magic, it's
clear that Kara has a far-ranging mind. Occasionally, she even
fancies that she can read other Makoatls' auras; though, in
reality, it's much more plausible that Karalorea is simply
observing their moods. With her sharp eyes and natural
instinct for how others are feeling, she makes a very
kind and nurturing friend, even to strangers. In addition to
being a caring Mako, Kara is a very loyal friend. She'll always
have another's back if they are in turn faithful to her, and she
has a deep and giving heart, offering her all to a partner-
including in a romantic manner. However, Karalorea is not
without her flaws. Due to the elegant and somewhat eccentric
manner in which she speaks, what she says is not always what
she means, and Kara occasionally twists words, though accidentally.
Besides that, she also tends not to listen to others; though she does
care about what they're saying, her wandering mind often leads her
on side tracks, and she can only focus on one thing at a time, to
her misfortune. Therefore, she has gotten into a few disagreements
after misunderstanding what a friend said- whoops!
