To win, you will have to design how it will look as an adult.
Quality doesn't matter as much as the original ideas and the overall design.
Keep in mind: as it still has the cub colorings, the markings could change, just like a lion cub loosing their sopts or a dalmation gaining their markings as they age. But please don't change it to something unrecognisable.
