Odelle is not a common name. It's a very unique and unusual name that is not heard very often. When my mother was deciding on a name for me it took a couple of months just to decide what my name would be. She finally decided on Odelle when that one day I saw a bird singing and with my tiny white wings, flew up awkwardly next to it and sang to in it, in a voice like no other. X

Odelle has lots of layers to her true self, and soon when you think she have figured her out, she grows a new leave and gives you a new surprise. Only one has truly known her but he spent years earning her trust and friendship and sometimes that's how long it can take to earn her trust. Odelle like's clarity and honesty in all things, and the one way that we defiantly not earn her trust is by lying, cheating, or stealing. When things feel dark she will gladly come in and help clean the ail, or heal the problem. Generally Odelle is talkative and cheerful but she is very good at hiding her emotions, and tends to be rather serious with them. She is helpful and kind, and is known to be a great leader when you do earn her trust. Odelle also has many areas of expertise but one of them is helping others, and identifying others areas they need to work on with there emotional growth. Swift and cunning.

Bunny's - Bunny's are one of Sage's few weakness's. She ADORES them so much. Bunny's are the thing she generally protects the most. There eyes and fur mesmerize her and her dark side is turned on when a bunny get's a hurt. Especially humans, she hates when they hunt them and if she finds out, even if it's in the winter, she would hunt you down and give you a whooping.

Stars - Even though it is harder to see them through the thick forest trees she loves them. Each star has a story, she's said, and each star tells her a story. Every night she walks over to the largest clearing in the forest where she lives in and lays down on the grass and watches the stars and then when it is midnight she sings a special song.

Soon there's a whizzing sound and then a star floats next to her and will tell her it's story. But the unique thing is that the stars sing there story and will only sing it. This is because she SANG the special song so they are singing back to her. Though she has tried to just speak the song, not sing it, the stars to will not come.

Lanterns - Odelle, as you can see, only carry's around one lantern but this is the one lantern that was given to her by her best human friend, hunter (read story if you're confused). It is her way to see the light in the dark and when she carry's it with her it shows how much she loved and cared about hunter.

Peace - This is Odelle's secret hideout, which she calls peace. It's a hidden cave with only two exits, one where the water trickles down into a pool, and the other a large cave entrance covered with vines and bushes. Besides her only one other person knew about this and it was of course, Hunter. He brought her lots of little gifts to put in her "peace" because he knew how special it was to her. It was Odelle's place to relax and sometimes bath in the warm, bubbling water. The few candles that Odelle still has from Hunter are kept in there, her peace, and she only uses them if she is really stressed or has a wave of loneliness and wishes hunter was still there.

Fireflies - Odelle as strange love for fireflies. She has a special connection with them, and strangely enough hears them talking when they hum and flicker there "lights". She once told this to Hunter and he believes there speaking to her through Morse code, a strange code language Odelle had never hurt of. Once hunter taught her the alphabet she realized that somehow she did know Morse code, even without really knowing it.

Clearings - Clearings are the one of the few spots she gets to the see the sun. The trees are so thick that it's hard for any rays of sun to get threw them.

As a child she only knew her mother for a very little time since she died when humans killed her. Odelle had always been taught to avoid humans, and for a long time as a child she believed this, especially after her mother was killed. So it resulted in not being aloud to go out of the forest grounds so, since her area was limited, she went to exploring a lot. Even though she does have wings as a child she was a very weak flyer, and her wings were also very small so she walked around a lot instead of flying. Soon after her mother died she became very depressed and turned thin and sick. Life wasn't on her side with her then but soon she met someone who soon became a miracle to her. This was Jae, a young buck who was separated from his mother as a fawn. They took care of each other, for months on until Odelle was fully healed and healthy. At this moment in Jae's life he was old enough to go be on his own. He was strong enough and he was off to look for a mate. So he sat off but everyone in a while Odelle still see's her long past friend.

Hobbies and things she likes:

These secrets are things about her or things you can't see on/about her.

~ Hunter carved onto her antlers a special message that only she knows. They are extremely hard to see, being there right at the base of her antlers and practically put in code so only she and Hunter would know them. It's practically a poem, and it goes a little like this:

not of my kind
but a best friend of mine
she became the joy to me

~ When she was just born, and from 1-3 years old, her wings were super tiny and only about the size of a butterfly's wing. The cause of this is unknown, but her mother and her were afraid she would never be able to fly with her beautiful wings.

~You see all of the vines on her body? Well quite frankly she has found as she has grown older that those vines are unbreakable. You can try as much as you want to break them but they won't break! They are, of course, like regular vines by texture. They feel like a vine, soft but firm. They are also not heavy, which she thinks is rather strange but she believes the help her survive in some ways and have a small way to protect her.

~Odelle recently found out she had a twin brother, something very strange indeed. She had always thought she was the only one from her family left alive but apparently he was actually not alive anymore. He had died several hours after her mother had them and he had broken wings and he was white instead of brown!

~Sometimes she wishes she was a human, and that she could leave the forest. Often times she's dreamed about what she would look like. From her short knowledge of what humans look she would have long brown hair, hazel eyes, and maybe some vines in her hair.

~Okay so you might be curious what she means by "she wishes she was a human, and that she could leave the forest". Well it's true, she can't leave the forest... well easily. She can only leave the forest 5 times a year and for only up to 12 hour periods. She believes that this is because she is a guardian, and she needs to stay in her forest, the biggest in the world, and protect it.

~Her favorite human band is Owl city. It was also Hunter's favorite band, and one day when he came out to see her he brought a hand held CD player and was blasting out Owl city. They listened to it all day together as they told about past adventures and there day.

~This next secret she hasn't told anyone. Not even hunter, though he might have figured it out by now....5:47 - 6:12 is her favorite time of the day. Every day she remembers that one day when hunter told her he loved her on her birthday. As a present he also got her a beautiful gift, something that she only keeps in the peace, and that is her Journal and two pieces of jewelry. Odelle had never seen jewelry before and was instantly drawn to the bracelet and necklace.

The necklace would probably have to be her favorite out of both of them though. Hunter knew she loved the stars, so that's why he got it for her. Odelle calls the necklace "the captured stars" because of the twinkle and glitter in the blue part. So whenever she wears it she's holding some stars with her.

~Before Hunter came along, Odelle was very unaware of the human world. Since she could hardly ever leave the forest she never had seen stuff like jewelry, or clothing, or journals and things like that.

~Odelle asked hunter a lot of questions but he also asked her a few to. One of them she remembers and it was "What sexuality are you?" Odelle honestly had know idea what that meant but soon found out. She had been very shy about that topic but eventually told hunter she had never another female plumerian so... she wouldn't know if she was bi or lesbian but she was pretty positive she would always be straight.

Friends:

Honestly Odelle doesn't have any friends except Hunter, and Jae. Plumerians never dared to enter the forest, do to the rumors of the "strange beasts" and thus she doesn't have any friends. She does have several animals that adore her and tend to follow her everywhere but she wouldn't exactly consider them friends, just acquaintances

A little bit about me:

You probably know me a little bit, here and there at join.me's, pming you lots of questions! Well I am a non-owner, adoring the species since my first favorite species at time had not been very active I saw your species all over CS, in siggy's the most though, so I came over to see the species. Gosh I fell in love with lines! They all seemed so perfect and the feathers! OMGOSH I swear I have an addiction to species that have feathers! I love feathers, there so pretty and unique and I think they give a good part of the plumerian itself

Also I am a preteen girl living in the USA, and fighting with my love for writing and then the feeling that it's not good enough. I have one sibling, my sister who is Amandar on CS, and a mom, a dog (Chica | female), a male cat (Joey), and a female cat named Aubree. As for some hobbies I live writing, reading, archery, drawing, hugs, and much longer list that would probably be way to much to put! For personality I'm pretty hyber at home, but mostly quite with my classmates unless there my friends. Hope you understand me a bit more, hehe XD

Why I want her/closing note

Well I'm sure you have heard this lots of times before but she is just pure beauty. Her design captures me and I have over to past month been thinking about her lots. School has sucked a whole lot of time out of working on my form for this girl but I hope you like it. I know you have lots of peoples forms to judge but I hope this one stands out. I am not the best artist, otherwise I probably would've flooded her with a whole ton more art, but I did get a few cute pieces of her XD

Generally I choose a name that flows a bit more with the design and meaning but when I saw Odelle it seemed to just click with her. As for personality and developing her I tried to focus on a lot of the more main points instead of adding lots of little details (though I do love small details!)

I also hope I made it NOT to short! I know you said shorter is more of your style but sometimes I feel like I didn't add enough. Looking at all of the other beautiful forms mine feels short but I hope to gain some trust from you, smiles, and just a laugh!

"Gather around kids!" My grandfather shouted, and all of us grandkids sat in front of him in a semi-circle.
"Do you want to hear a story?" He said with a twinkle in his eye. We all shouted "Yes!" and watched him with eager eyes. He started to tell the story I will never forget.

"Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young lady who wandered the town of Italy. All the townspeople thought she was magical and holy, while every animal she passed either cowered in fear or tried to attack her. She was a strange one. She would just wander through town and go out into open pastures. She would then walk into the forest, and she wouldn't be seen for a week or more. Then she came back, did the same thing she always did, and nobody suspected a thing. They called her Del Viandante, or 'of the wanderer.'

Then came the screams. The bloodcurdling, most terrifying screams you would ever hear. They all echoed from the forest. After the second night of screaming, no one dared go into the forest except to gather food or hunt when it was absolutely necessary. WIP
