Horatio doesn't care if people like him or hate him for what he does and he has a high level of confidence in himself, despite being flawed in various ways. Always on the cautious wary side, he is very cynical and strongly acts on his beliefs. Horatio likes to act sophisticated and often dresses in fancy clothes. On the outside though, he seemed like he had a laid-back and nonchalant personality who seem to be the one to crack a joke. This was for his own personal purposes as well as keep a good reputation outside and hide his inner insatiable greed.

His gentlemen act is for his own needs due to his hunger for money. Horatio can be very eloquent with words and without knowingly, manipulate people into his own hands. He doesn't care for anyone else's well beings. You can describe his gentlemen act like a mask to hide his greed and lust.

Nen's clever, occasionally too clever as he can overthink things and from there come to the wrong conclusion and entirely miss the mark, or cause himself to doubt things he should not. This causes him trouble, especially with things he could have avoided issues with altogether in the first place. Even so, his cleverness gets him out of situations and dangers most would be stuck in, which just shows he's not only clever, but quick thinking and having a fast enough reaction speed to do whatever he feels he needs to do.
In everyday life, this pseudodragon keeps quiet, not in a lone depressed manner, in a more peaceful happy to simply watch those around him sort of way. Nen prefers to listen than speak, carefully formulating his opinion on whatever those around him are talking about, and then when he feels it's right he'll speak up and join in if he feels he has something to add.
Nen is not always like this however. His cleverness in forming solutions often finds him speaking up and taking charge, even to those far older than him. Many tend to think of him as more of a leader due to this. Whilst Nen does take charge of things quite frequently, in reality he prefers to follow instructions, so long as they're good instructions, than lead anyone at all. If he has to lead he becomes anxious, agitated, and scared, and is far more likely to make an incorrect choice, or suddenly become impatient and mess something up that would've been fine if left alone.
He doesn't show these issues so much on the outside though, as Nen doesn't want to make those around him worry. In this way he tends to accidently shrug off help when he needs it.
One of his best traits is his kindness. Nen is incredibly kind. It takes quite some time for him to trust you enough to be worthy of that kindness, but once you're there you'll see he's one of the most tender-hearted individuals you could ever meet.
Tying in with that kindness is how he responds to those that harm anyone he trusts; Nen becomes cold and distant, with the desire to destroy whoever it was that was stupid enough to harm one he cares about. Some become frightened of him after they see him like that, others are awed.
Despite having an inert curiosity, Nen is remarkably innocent and naive in some matters with a child like sense of fun; it's not too often that someone that doesn't act on curiousity, still retains the other more pure, child like qualities.

This little fella isn't the most chatty of sorts, preferring to stay quiet than prattle on. While he's extremely intelligent, he doesn't like to boast or speak of such things. He only wants to be treated as a normal pseudodragon, but being known for his work as a child prodigy isn't an easy thing to live with. He's awkward in social situations, as he doesn't always know how to respond to certain things others say. In social circles, he's either adored or ignored; those that know what he's accomplished fawn over him, while those that don't know him think of him as odd and don't wish to speak to him. Either the center of attention or completely shunned, Phantom has a difficult time finding real friends. Phantom isn't as popular or famous as he once was - his fame died down as he got older. While he still is considered an art prodigy, he isn't in the public eye so much anymore. While he still creates painted masterpieces upon canvases, he chooses to show very few to the public, unlike what he used to do. Part of him likes the solitude and the loneliness, as it means he doesn't have to get his feelings hurt from mean pseudodragons again, as he had to deal with that previously when he was constantly in the limelight. He would rather sit at home and write stories or read books or paint rather than go outside and be around fake pseudodragons all day long. He tires of their false words of praise, as he can clearly see through any facade they put up. He hates noticing the masks that they wear, trying to impress him or get on his good side solely for their own benefits. He hates the fakeness of it all, and often wishes that he'd find a real pseudodragon that liked him for him, and not his fame...but whenever he used to try to obtain friends, they all laughed at him and called him nasty names. For whatever reasons they had, they hated him, even though he tried his hardest to smile and make smalltalk with him. He would go out of his way to be nice to them, holding open doors and drawing them cartoons...but they all left him - not one was loyal. They deceived him into thinking that they liked him when in reality, they despised him. The more he hung out with them the clearer this became, until one day, he just stopped showing up to their parties. Then he stopped talking to them all together. He then completely cut himself off from them. Over time, he became the silent loner that he is today. He tries to have a positive outlook on life, but sometimes depression overtakes him, and he becomes very recluse. When he's happy, he's the most joyful psuedodragon you'll ever see - but if he's sad, it'll take him awhile to get out of the rut and back on track.
