∘What Are Seakits∘
Seakits are an adorable little species caught somewhere between a feline and a fish, creating some sort of aquatic land cat. This species lives in a small dug out den in the sand on the shores of the ocean. Seakits eat a variety of fish and seaweed. They can only be under water for around 20 minutes at most. Seakits have a fun little play on their name, ["seakits" - "seek its!"]. Anything that glimmers on land or sea goes into their hoarding den on the ocean floor. Seakits range in size from a robin [baby] to a small dog [adult]. Seakits never act aggressively unless their nest, den or hoard are being disturbed, in which case they spike up their fins and bear their teeth.

''The weak Seakit in the corner.
I heard she's so weak she can't hold all her books.
She doesn't even look at herself in the mirror!
What's with those things and her white eyes?
Is she blind or something?
And for the first time she spoke in a quiet hushed voice but, loud enough for those around to hear,'' Just because I'm different doesn't mean I'm weak. It doesn't mean I'm not the same as the rest of you. I don't want to be you though, because I don't want to see myself. That's why I never look in the mirror.''

An interview:
''Today we have a lovely Seakit here, now then tell us, what's your name?''
''I'm Destiny.''
''Ah that's a nice name, who gave it to you?''
''Well uh, at first I was named Dawn, at least till I spoke. And when I did, I guess my life just kinda changed. My teacher had looked at me with a smile. She said,'So she does have a voice.' and then after class when it was late and everyone except me had left. She came up next to me at the curb and sat down, scared I had said,'Did I-I do something wrong?' and she replied,'No.' we remained silent for a few minutes. But then she spoke again choosing her words carefully,'Remember Dawn. You are just as good as the others. Your better than they are in fact. While they prey on you because your different I have never once seen you break down and cry. Remember, you have a destiny.' At first I though,'Your wrong, I have no future! I break down all the time! I do it where no one can see me because my tears could be some sort of toxic waste! Waste! Just like I am!' so I started to crumble. I shook a bit trying to keep myself together. But, I just couldn't I started to have all the withering and hurt from inside flow out. I covered my face with my paws. It felt good to cry. For a minute I felt like I was all alone, just me in the world. It was nice. But, then my teacher patted me on the back and said,'Dawn. Your parents have been sick for a while know right?' 'Ya' I said. 'They've passed, and they-ey have turned their responsibilities on me.' That was it. I cried my heart out, I was broken inside. An hour later I was at my new home and renamed Destiny. I was no Dawn of new beginnings anymore, I was the Destiny to come.
How touching, where is your teacher now?
''She passed a while back, and I'd prefer not to talk about it to much.''
Ah, I see. That's perfectly fine. What are you into Destiny?
''I like watching the sunset and rise and running. Ya. Those are the two main things I like to do. I know a spot not to far where there is a nice wheat-feild with a little hill at the very very end. I always go up there and just watch the sun.''
How about your favorite things now . Food perhaps ?
" I like these little Japanese kitkats but, they aren't the usual ones. They are vanilla flavored and I believe I even have one...''

"I just love these things, It's like they have a mystery flavor inside. Kind of like me...''
Ah I'll have to try one of them the next time I go to Japan.
''Haha ya.''
Well onto our next question, what's your favorite color?..Can you see color?
''Umm. I think maybe the sandy color. It's such a nice color. Oh and yes I can see color. I am partially color-blind though. I have deuteranopia and so I uh have some pictures my doctor gave me. She can predict a lot of things well. You should go see her.


''And then I also brought an apple. To you it's red. But, to me it's a goldish color.''
Alright! Well I believe we'll have to cut off our interview now. I'll see you around Destiny.

the personification of destiny, necessity and fate. she marks the beginning of the cosmos.
she was seen as the most powerful dictator of all fate and circumstance which meant that
mortals, as well as the gods, respected her and paid homage.

"ananke, what are you doing?"

a young seakit crept up behind ananke, who was perched at the edge of the cliff and gazing
up at the night sky. ananke turned to the young one and smiled softly.

"just stargazing," she replied.

"but you've been up here for hours already. why don't you come back down and join
every one else?"

ananke sighed, realising the other kit had a point. she just couldn't bring herself to return
to the others quite yet. she was comfortable, alone, enveloped in stars.

"do you believe in fate?" she asked the younger seakit suddenly.

"fate? nah, that's stuff from the olden days. why? do you?"

ananke shook her head. "i don't know," she replied. "sometimes i think it's crazy talk, but
other times... other times i hope there's someone out there watching over us all. guiding
us when we're lost. and even if the path isn't pleasant, at least you know you'll come out of
it somehow."

"i suppose that's valid. but ananke, never forget that you have people all around that are
willing to help you too. i'll see you back soon i hope?"

with that the small kit disappeared back down the cliff. ananke chuckled. that young one was
a smart one for sure. redirecting her gaze back to the dark abyss above her, she pondered
what the young one had said.

"friends, huh?"

with a smile ananke rose from her laying position and padded back towards the trail
leading down, leaving the heavens to be reflected on some other time.

What is this seakit's favorite food?
Rebeeli's favourite food is star fruit, but it has to be frozen or with something frozen.

Personality
Rebeeli's personality is rather simple to say the least. A perfect word to describe her attitude and how she acts is "owl". When one thinks of an owl they immediately think of how they are nocturnal. It isn't that this particular Seakit is nocturnal but she does prefer the night, often times she will be sleepy and tired throughout the day. Particularly grumpy when she is woken up from sleeping during the day time, that other Seakit's just thought she was napping. She has a tendency to nod off during a conversation with someone during the day, although she tries to be polite she usually ends up falling asleep or drifting off without meaning to. Grumpy, sleepy, snappish, and rhetorical during the day Rebeeli has a complete change in personality at night. It starts off just as the sun starts to set, her grumpy attitude starts to perk up a bit. Waking up from her nap or usually naps she watches the sun go down, and no matter what the weather she'll have some sort of cold or frozen star fruit item with her. From being a grumpy no fun at all girl she turns into a quiet but enthusiastic little kit. Sometimes she may turn into a chatter box, droning on about random things or something that caught her eyes. Most often she is alone at night, since she doesn't seem to have many other's willing to stay up with her the entire night. Rebeeli is a spectator, and at night is when her thoughts can run wild in her head without any interruptions. And that is mostly how other's see her... Beyond her being grumpy and unpleasant.
