Paint-Tailed Pythons(PTP) are a
unique breed of pythons that
have paint seeping from their
tail tips. PTP tend to be slightly
smaller than their close cousins,
ball pythons, females being around
2-3 feet long and males 1-2 feet long.
Hatchlings are dramatically smaller at
only 5 inches long.
Pythons tend to be quite intelligent,
and PTP are no exception. PTP tend
to be quite shy when first introduced
to their owners, but will warm up quickly
and soon become inseparable. PTP have
exceptionally long lifespans, and have
been known to live for upwards of 60 years.

PTP Hobby:
Mikorin's hobby is capturing and painting live stag beetles to keep as pets. Currently he owns 54 stag beetles and is always watching out for more. Each of his beetles is named and he hopes that some will soon breed and have little baby beetles.
To paint them, he holds them firmly in his coils. Often he rests a part of his body on them and holds their pincers together. His beetles all come to love him in time, as he treats them all like kings and queens.

This very sad and woeful tale happened so long ago.

Well, I was just a little boy when I went to Pirate's Bay
And there I saw a creature that was very much dismayed.
With a harpoon in his dorsal fin and a hook stuck in his side,
This mighty whale was in such pain, we both began to cry.

I pushed and I shoved, but he wouldn't give way
Into the deeper waters off our shallow Pirate's Bay.
All I could do to help him was to keep people away,
So I wrote a sign that said, "Beware the Beast of Pirate's Bay!"
And what did it say?"

PTP Personality:
Mikorin's may seem like a fearsome beast, but he's actually nothing to worry over. He doesn't like to fight at all, not even quarreling or arguing is enjoyable to him. He says terrifying things like, "Take one step closer and I won't hesitate to rip your soul from your body." However, he quickly becomes embarrassed and regrets saying such things. He often refers to himself as 'baka', the Japanese word for idiot or fool, and most people view it as undeniably cute, an image Mikorin has tried unsuccessfully to shake.
Mikorin is quite loyal to those he loves, but unfortunately he longs to feel like he is needed or loved in the world. Due to his aggressive nature, his only friends are his beetles. He also wants to someday find a mate and have little snakelets, but he's doubtful that will ever happen. Still, Mikorin is a hopeless romantic and loves to write poetry.
