and a bit of writing about Dirk's owners-
After meeting all the neighbors, Jared took Dirk out around the neighborhood, catching a lot of stares. Dirk loves the sound of his hooves on the pavement, and will typically stomp his feet as he goes, tossing his head in delight. The houses are very spaced out, and the pine trees loom over the two lane road, making it difficult to drive any sort of horse driven cart with frequent traffic. The nearest neighbors, whom he plowed their pastures, have a 15 year old daughter who has a crush on him. Ana thinks it's adorable, but Jared finds is to be the most embarrassing thing that could happen.
