✗⇒ | Akocha is calm and reserved, not much of a talker, but he enjoys the company of others. He's very generous, but tends to be a bit of a hoarder, especially with shiny things. He's very forgiving to others and is always willing to give them a second chance. He also a bit of an opportunist and is very adaptable to new situations. He's not considered very honest, as he sugarcoats things to hopefully not upset the one he's talking to. He's good at making friends, but not always best friends because of how little he expresses his feelings and thoughts. He always tries to have others like him, as he doesn't like the feeling of being disliked, even if that means acting completely out of character.

✗⇒ | Likes;Fire ;
He's always had a strange fascination with fire, even as a child. He loved to start a small campfire in the backyard and just watch it until sunset, paying attention to every detail and flicker of color. He just loves the way it looks I guess; the strange swirls of reds and oranges that put off a grey haze that incases the surrounding area... But I guess we'll never know.
Shiny Stones/Gems ;
They look quite gorgeous don't they? You can't blame him for loving them. He likes how they reflect light and turn it into dazzling colors that seem like they can't be replicated. He happens to keep a hoard of shiny stones he's picked up over his lifetime.
Learning New Things ;
Akocha has a love for learning and admits it. Learning something new about a place or thing is exciting to him and he will look up something whenever he gets the chance. History is his favorite thing to learn about.
Spicy Food ;
It's like fire in food form to him, what not is there to love? He loves that sharpness of spicy foods and will love it till the day he dies. (He really likes peppers though, specifically, jalapeno is his favorite.)
⇒ | Dislikes;Winter ;
Too much of cold temperatures and snow for his liking, it makes him feel uncomfortable and sick. He also is afraid of slipping or falling through ice, so it doesn't really help.
Being Alone ;
Akocha always needs something to talk to, even if said thing doesn't understand him. Being around others comforts him and really helps him if he's ever in a bad mood. If he's ever alone for long periods of time he starts to make sad whining noises until someone notices him.
People Trying to touch His Feathers ;
Why yes they are very bright colored, why yes they are very distracting, why yes they do look like fire, why yes they are very pretty, why yes they look very soft,
but don't touch them please. It messes up their style, do you think this look comes naturally? Okay it sort of does, but that's not the point.
Loud noises ;
Being the kind of parra he is, Akocha really doesn't like loud noises. They give him headaches and annoy him to no end. Isn't there any way to not be so loud? It's really not that hard, but if whatever it is must make so much noise, please take it 50000 miles away from Akocha please.

✗⇒ | A small evening breeze shook the red and orange trees and sent ripples across a river that cut through them. The sun was stating to set, but yet Akocha continued to sit at the riverbank, searching through the pebbles in hopes to find something new for his collection. He did this weekly, he sat there, at the riverbank, trying to find the best shiny stones to keep. He started to growl, this was taking to long. He had picked the place dry. Nothing good was left, everything else was too dull or a grain of sand.
Akocha stretched and stood up, maybe he should just drop the quest and try a different place tomorrow. As he started to walk away, he felt his paw hit something. He looked down, not expected to see anything, he was standing on a riverbank after all, it was probably just a rock. And it was a rock, but not a normal grey rock, it was a bright orange with traces of red and yellow. Akocha picked it up to examine it. It seemed to have no flaws, the sun hit it at just the right angle to give it a fiery look, almost like it was about to burst into flames. Getting excited about finally having something new for his collection, he rushed home carrying the stone.
Akocha had rinsed off the stone and now continued to study it. It was slightly opaque, felt warm to the touch, and it even seemed to almost give off a steady orange glow that he'd never seen on any other rock before. As he went to put the rock in his jar, it started getting warmer, and warmer, until it started to burn his paw. Akocha quickly dropped the stone and it landed with a loud crack on the hard floor. Akocha hurriedly picked it back up, worried he had ruined the most unique rock he'd ever seen. It had shattered into four round pieces, and although you could easily find where they broke apart, when separate that didn't look as if they were damaged at all. As he looked closer at them, they started to float and surround him, and they stayed there, no matter what Akocha did. Running? They still hovered at his shoulders. Trying to see if this was all a dream? They still stayed there. Trying to forcefully take them from their place? They just went straight back to surround them. Oh well.
Akocha, frustrated and confused, gave off a screech, and the stones burst into flames.
"Oh great, what else can these do?" He growled.
